Riley was dead, and John was close to tears, unable to hold back his emotions any longer.
He looked at Cameron, who was sitting to his left, to comfort him, but then thought that she probably didn't know how to comfort him, plus the fact that his mother was on his right.
He fell into his mother's lap and started crying while she comforted him.
Later that night, John went to his room, closed the door, and sat on his bed, in silence, preferring to be left alone, thinking about how many people died because of him.
Cameron silently entered his room.
When he saw her, John felt even worse and started crying even more than before feeling sorry for the fact of blaming her, being cocky and ignorant, or considering Cameron as a potential threat to Riley.
She sits with John on his bed and tries to "make a conversation" to reassure him that it was not his fault, and future John also knows how many casualties the war with Skynet will have and it is necessary to get used to it. John finally looks directly into her eyes, catches her left hand, and puts it around his neck.
Confused, Cameron has a command to terminate John, which she overrides in a second. she looks back at him and asks what he's doing.
John looks at her and says: "Cameron, let me tell you something, I can't keep with this, I can't keep with all the people dying for me, I can't live with all that is happening because of me! and… I hate myself! They need a better leader, you would be a much better leader than me! Cameron, I order you to terminate John Connor! Terminate me, please!".
Cameron after hearing those words reminds herself, of how she pointed a gun at John, her left-hand twitches rapidly around his neck, and her HUD starts glitching.
John firmly locks her hand on his throat and tries to end himself.
"John, John you can't do this, you don't know what are you about to do".
"Yes, I know, I want you to kill me!".
"No, John, you can't do this, you are not doing the right thing, this is not the right thing, John. Things will be good now, things will be fine now, you will get over it, everything will be perfect, you are perfect".
"Cameron, please, do it!".
"John, don't be sorry, it wasn't your fault, don't be sorry about what happened. Please, you have to understand it wasn't you, that isn't you, John you can´t. Please, listen to me!" John tries to make her hand squeeze him even more tightly "Listen to me, John, I don't want you to go, please John, please. John, listen to me, I don't want you to go" Cameron tries to get her hand from John's neck "Please, John. Please? It will all be good now. Listen to me, I am sorry too, but it isn't you, you'll be fixed now, I can find a way, everything will be perfect, you a perfect, you can trust me!"
"Cameron!"
She suddenly sheds some tears, and with panic in her voice says: "I don't! I don't want to, please! I don't want to kill you John and you don't want me to kill you! You are everything to me!". At this moment John lets her hand go.
They both look at each other, sheer fear and exhaustion reflects in John's eyes and a true concern for John and sadness in Cameron's eyes.
They both don't say anything, they just look at each other as the atmosphere becomes calm.
