16. "We could watch a movie"

Note: This is pure cheesy fluff. Maybe a portion too cheesy or fluffy…. But then, I hope you´ll enjoy the melting effect... 😊

Somewhere in the Frozen fandom world…

Anna was agitating, like she had not been before for a long time. A date, she was going on a date, with Kristoff, her long-time crush… He´d asked her out, something she had not experienced for a while and to be asked out by him especially made her heart leap up and down her chest!

Elsa stood watching her, shaking her head, and chuckling fondly.

"Goodness, Anna, you should see yourself, like some besotted teenager."

"Hey!" Anna spun slowly before the mirror and checking on her looks, "I am allowed to feel like a besotted teenager tonight, am I right?"

And the sisters giggled, when the doorbell rang, and Anna squeaked, starting to tribble and clapping her hands.

"He´s here!"

"Yes, yes, feisty pants, or whatever Kristoff calls you at times. Just calm down, I´ll get the door like the reasonable older sister does."

Elsa rolled her eyes and throwing her hands in the air, glad when her younger sister be out and on that date tonight. But then, she had to admit she did approve a great deal, for Kristoff being with Anna.

Anna sighed and indulged in the moment. Kristoff had asked her out for a date, and she felt so special, so cherished, so utterly loved. But then, she better go and show up, when she heard that wonderful voice asking for her.

"Hi, Elsa, is Anna ready?"

"You bet; she is. Since hours. Seriously, you´re doing me a favour by picking her up, she´s driving me crazy."

"Hi." Anna had appeared at her sister´s side, beaming up to the man that she held to her heart more than anything else in this world.

"Hello, Anna, you look beautiful."

"Thank you. And you look dandy!"

Kristoff held out his arm to escort his lady to the car.

Elsa wished them a lovely evening, a good night, and she couldn´t restrain to call after them.

"Behave the two of you, will you!"

She earned a sterned look from the couple and a waving hand from her cheering little sister.

"So, where we´re going?"

"Surprise." Kristoff glanced at Anna with a grin.

"That´s not fair. I need to know."

"I know, Anna, but this time I´ll be firm."

"Ha! Let´s see about that."

"Hm." He reached out for her hand to pull it to his lips and peck a kiss to her knuckles.

"Hey, you left your ring on?"

"Yes, sorry, I couldn´t take it off. That felt so wrong."

Anna shrugged apologetically, but Kristoff winked at her, saying that was a friendship ring then for tonight.

"Yes, that´s it!" Anna laughed and sighed happily to the prospect of their approaching time together.

Kristoff parked the car and Anna burst into a fit of laughter.

"Burger barn?"

"Hey, that was the place I took you out the first time, remember?"

"Yes, how could I forget. That´s where you spilled the ketchup sauce over my dress."

"To be fair, Anna, your looks that night had me really… disturbed… to say the least, and I had to concentrate hard not to think of you any other way of ripping that dress off you."

Anna giggled.

"I know, and I´m still sorry for that. Well, if it makes you feel better, that very night I thought, ´oh well, now that he´s ruined my dress, hopefully he´ll make up for it by simply tearing if off me…´

Kristoff stared at her mouth agape.

"You didn´t!"

Anna nodded, hunching her shoulders, and covering her mouth with one hand and laying the other on his arm.

"I seriously did but was afraid of saying anything."

"Well," and Kristoff leaned closer to put their foreheads together, "I can promise you to make up for that mess tonight, if you wish."

"Hm." Anna moaned lightly and then giggled, "I´d love that, but you´ve heard Elsa."

A nice burger meal at that cosy diner was just the right thing and Anna loved every moment of it. The memory of their first date back at this place was still so fresh like it had been just yesterday, though this had been two years ago.

"Mr. and Mrs. Bjorgman, is there anything else I can bring you?" The owner of the place personally had come around and was standing like a giant next to their table, waiting for another order.

"Anna?" Kristoff looked at his wife with a grin, "another desert?"

"Oh, no, thank you." Anna rubbed her belly and groaned unceremoniously. "I don´t think I can handle any more food tonight."

So then, Kristoff paid the bill and led his beautiful wife back to the car to drive her home, his home, well it was their home for two years now, but then for tonight it was his home and he brought her there, like he´s done on their first date.

"Oh, Kristoff, you won´t believe this. But I feel just so excited and agitated like back then, and the flustered stomach that had me go all edgy." She looked at him with sparkling eyes, just to gaze into his that were so soft and full of love for her. And the moment was thrilling, and tears of sheer distress threatened to run down her face and ruin that awesome hour.

"Hey, my love, what´s wrong?" Kristoff reached out and pulled her closer when they had gotten out of the car and were walking towards the house.

"Nothing wrong, it´s all so perfect. Oh, gosh, I think it´s the hormones running berserk with me. I fear that I will never learn to control my emotions." Anna sniffed and wiped her nose with her wrist.

"Hey now." Kristoff rubbed a gentle hand up and down her back. "I hope you´ll never learn that, because that´s what makes you so special and I love you for that exact reason. Don´t you know that?"

She nodded and then blinked up to him with a dreamy smile, "Thank you. You´re so wonderfully steadfast and so calmly centred. I would not know what I´d supposed to do without you?!"

"And you´re the most caring and delightful person I have ever known. You´d do anything for those you love and to know that you love me, for whatsoever reason that I will never understand, that makes me the happiest man in the world, you know!"

"I love you Kristoff Bjorgman."

"And I love you, Anna Bjorgman."

And Kristoff kissed his wife on his, no, their, front porch, just like he´d done that one night back two years ago, and still his knees threatened to buckle upon the touch of her soft lips and the sweet taste of her skin along her jawline.

They parted their lips with a sigh, holding to each other for another moment, when Anna asked while Kristoff opened the door.

"So, what we´re going to do now?"

Kristoff closed the door behind them and turned to cup her chin and smile at her.

"We could watch a movie."

Anna´s eyes widened, and she pranced on the spot, cupping his face with her hands.

"Oh, you mean like we did on our first date?"

He nodded.

"And then afterwards, I´d have an idea to proceed…" Anna cooed wistfully.

Kristoff shook his head with a grin, putting a finger to her lips. "Sorry, my love, you´ve heard what Elsa´s said."

Anna frowned playfully and nudged his upper arm.

"Come on, her comment was part of the game, and besides, she doesn´t need to know, right?!" She grinned with a fake frown.

"Alright, feisty pants, but please keep the right order, okay?" Kristoff chuckled amused, enjoying this little chitchat play along and softly kissed his wife.

"Yes, Sir! What movie then?" Anna pleaded still prancing.

"What about the movie of our first date?"

"Oh my gosh, don´t say you grabbed it out of our mess of DVD´s?" By now she squealed with excitement.

"Hm, I did. And, what about some popcorn."

"Oh, but I shouldn´t."

Kristoff laughed.

"Come on, my lady, you sit down, put up your feet, and I get the bowl and drinks. It´s our date, nobody needs to starve tonight."

Anna giggled and went over to the sofa to plop herself down with a happy sigh, just to snuggle up close to her husband, when Kristoff had come back with that cute popcorn bucket that was decorated with seasoned decors.

Now this little container was painted with some Halloween pumpkins. They had stored some others in their closet for other use, too, and there was one with Disney´s lion king, or Frozen, or then some Disney princesses on it. Anna liked those things and Kristoff had neatly stored them up for such occasions. Who knew what one could use them later for?

"Ready?" Kristoff asked with a grin.

"I can´t believe you´re doing this. After all, you don´t like that kind of movies."

"But you love them, especially this one, and back then I thought I could win your heart over with presenting this DVD to you."

Anna straightened and laid her palm to his cheek.

"Kristoff, don´t you know that you´ve won my heart far earlier than that? But still, I have to admit that you landed yourself a great hit with that!"

He shrugged but leaned over to kiss her softly once more.

"Alright Anna, if we don´t want to fall asleep before that DVD is running, we better get started. Besides that, meanwhile I do like the movie, especially that cool reindeer and the funny snowman!"

And they sat to listen to that melodic chanting song and watch lovely snowflakes wondering through the nightline, and then those massive saws cut the ice!

And at some point, during that enchanted movie that Anna made sigh here and there, Kristoff couldn´t help but lay a gentle hand to his wife´s slightly swollen baby bump….

"Good morning beautiful."

"Hmmm." Anna stirred on her pillow, opening one eye to look straight into this pair of wonderful brown eyes.

"How about breakfast in bed?" Kristoff asked, brushing away a mass of red hair out of her face.

"Not yet."

Anna smirked and reached out to pull her husband closer into a snuggled hold, and soon they were indulging in the magic of early morning lovemaking.

Those moments were precious, though not necessarily rare, but on the weekend with no work schedule hunting one of them out of bed, it was simply an indescribable gift of reciprocal appreciation.

And the soft postcoital afterglow had Anna fall back into a content light slumber while she heard some rustling in the distance.

Breakfast in bed… How on earth had she ever deserved to be spoiled as such…?!

"Hey, sleepy head," a gentle kiss roused her from her napping, and she sat up in bed with a glint in her eyes upon the sight before her.

A tray with toasts, bacon, bagels, jam and coffee. And for her, a cup of chocolate milk, to give the baby a treat. Anna giggled upon that statement and clapped her hands with praise.

They indulged in the delicate starter for the day and then mused over today´s plan.

"Fancy to stay in bed for the day?" Anna grinned.

"Why not? And then… "

"Yes?" She glared at him with sparkling eyes, while chewing down a bite of that yummy jam-layered bagel.

"We could watch a movie."

"Again?"

"Hm."

"Oh, in bed on the notebook?"

"Yeah."

Anna´s eyes widened even more, and she smiled with growing excitement.

"What movie?"

Kristoff put down his cup, just to turn carefully and reach for the nightstand´s drawer and pull out another DVD, that he had stored witfully planned for this moment.

And when Anna saw what he held in hand, she nearly flipped the tray over upon bolting upright from her leisured position.

"It´s the sequel! You got it!"

"Yes." Kristoff grinned proudly with a wink.

"Oh, my goodness! Seriously, Kristoff Bjorgman, if I had not fallen in love with you an eternity ago, today would be the day!"

"Lucky me!"

"Happy anniversary, my valiant pungent husband!"

"Happy anniversary, my beloved feisty pants!"

And they kissed to seal their unbelievable bliss!
