Chapter 3: Ruined Plans

Several bolts of lightning struck all around the bridge.

"Well, looks like I made it just in time." a familiar male voice says, Haku's eyes widen while Sakura snapped her head up to see a welcome sight.

Naruto Uzumaki, very much alive, standing on the head of a large dragon, with his arms crossed dressed in a blood red yoroi.

"Naruto!" Sakura yelled happily, dashing over to him and tackling him to the ground, straddling him.

"Y-you baka," she sobbed, but the sad smile she wore told Naruto that she had indeed missed him.

"Naruto, you had me so worried! Where-?." Sakura suddenly stopped talking and released Naruto.

"Naruto, your whisker marks are gone!" Sakura exclaimed.

"Well, if it isn't another weakling for my men to kill." says Gato smugly.

"Gato." Naruto growls.

Gritting his teeth, Naruto lowers his head, shadowing his eyes.

"Sakura, please get back, please go over and protect Tazuna-san." he says in a voice that showed that he was barely trying to hold his rage in.

Seeing this, both Haku and Zabuza jumped behind Kakashi and Sasuke and crossed their arms, preparing to see what the blonde was about to do.

Naruto looked at the sizable group of roughly three hundred or so bandits, samurai, and thugs all armed to the teeth.

"All of you...will DIE!" Naruto roared as he threw his head back and let loose an animalistic scream that made even Zabuza's heart tremble.

"Naruto, what happened to you?" Sakura whispers.

(Inner Sakura)

"Oh yeah! Chaa! Naruto-kun is sooooooooo hot! I wish I was out there so I could jump his bones! Go Naruto-kun!"

Sakura blushed at the impure thought her inner self had just expressed.

A brilliant silver light (Think Goku's 1st Ultra Instinct transformation) enveloped Naruto.

"What is this power? It's nothing like the Nine-tail's chakra, it...it seems to on a whole other level!" Kakashi said, while looking at Naruto with his Sharingan.

"What?!" Sasuke said before doing the same and then cursing.

"H-How did he get so powerful?" Sasuke growled, fuming with now even more anger towards the blonde.

Naruto opened his mouth and a bright white light began glowing in his mouth, then-.

"Raaaaaaah!" Naruto shouted as he spit the thick beam of energy at the small army.

"N-n-noooooooooo!" several men screamed as they either incinerated, being turned to ashes, vaporized instantly, or burned alive by the intense heat of the blonde's attack.

When the smoke cleared, Gato was the only one left standing on his side of the bridge, shaking in absolute terror, unceremoniously pissing his pants out of fear.

"Wha- what a-are you, kid?" he asks, fear lacing his voice.

Taking a deep breath, Naruto strikes a pose (Goku's pose against Vegeta) before speaking.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki, former Jinchuriki of the Kyuubi No Yoko and current holder of the Kaiju, Torlon."

"You don't say?" Gato says, regaining some of his bravado.

"I should have used this before now, maybe I'd have some men left, but that just means that I won't have to pay anybody, so I guess I should thank you for that, brat."

Suddenly the bridge shook violently once, then twice.

"What in Kami's name?" Sakura asked.

Then a creature resembling a cross between a cockroach and a rhinoceros beetle, though standing upright. Despite being an underground creature, Megalon is noticeably colorful, combining silver and grey tusks and claws with an orange-and-black carapace and wings. Megalon's forelimbs terminate with two sharp, drill-like appendages.

"This is bad." Kakashi said darkly.

"We mustn't lose hope or faith in Naruto-kun." Haku said calmly.

"She's right!" Sakura yelled, cheering for Naruto.

"Looks like I'm gonna have to take this to..."

Naruto closes his eyes and begins focusing his chakra all around him until he's glowing in the silver light.

"What is he doing?" Zabuza asks, Haku remains silent, as she is at a loss for words.

"T-The n-next..." Naruto said while still straining, his body was changing drastically.

"Naruto, you're amazing." Sakura says, awe struck at what she is seeing.

"That imbecile? How could he have become this powerful this fast!?" Sasuke hissed angrily.

"And to top it all off, my Sharingan can't copy anything he's done! Blast it!" Sasuke sulked as he, like everyone else had been reduced to a spectator to Naruto's impending clash with the strange behemoth.

"LEVEL!" Naruto yelled as he was completely enveloped by the light, and then there was a massive explosion enveloped the area.

As the smoke cleared, a massive visage came into view.

"Great Kami." Haku said.

Gentle scarlet eyes sit high within the creature's horned, angular skull, which gives the creature a rather intimidating looking appearance.
Two small horns sit atop its head, just above its long, cat-like ears. A row of small tendrils runs down the sides of each of its jaw lines.
Its nose is flat and has two thick, pointy nostrils and there's a crystal growth on its chin. A few sharp teeth poke out from the side of its mouth and give a preview of the terror hiding inside.

A long neck runs down from its head and into a snake-like body. The top is covered in warped scales and a row of small fan-like growths runs down its spine.
Its bottom is covered in thick skin and is colored lighter than the rest of its body. Four huge limbs carry its body and allow the creature to stand graceful and elevated. Each limb has 5 digits, each of which end in narrow claws seemingly made of onyx.

Humongous wings grow starting from its shoulders and end just passed its shoulder blades. The wings are rounded, the edges of the skin inside the wings are tattered and damaged and long tendril-like growths grow from many parts of the bottom sides of each wing.

Its elegant tail ends in a sharp, arrowhead shaped tip and is covered in the same warped scales as its body.d"Naruto-kun." whispered Haku.

Megalon advanced on the transformed Naruto, swinging one of his drilled hands, aiming for his head, Naruto ducked and took a swipe at him with his claws, aiming for Megalon's mid-section, making him stumble backwards a few steps.

After righting himself, Megalon lowered his head and fired his Lightning Horn, knocking Naruto down for a moment.

Getting back to his feet, Naruto let loose a bellowing roar before charging another destructive energy attack.

"Rrrrahhhhhh!" Naruto roared, firing the blast at his adversary.

The beam hit Megalon dead center in his abdomen, knocking the other Kaiju down into the water, leaving Megalon a bloody mess, a massive oozing crater now where the beam had hit." Megalon roared in pain as Naruto leapt in the air and swung his massive tail at Megalon's head.

The blow landed with a thunderous echo that shook the bridge.

Naruto jumped away from Megalon, who's head and face were severely damaged. Gato looked on, horrified at what he was seeing.

"No No No! I had everything planned out to the smallest detail! Every trap set, but I get all by some freak Leaf Shinobi!?"

"Hey scumbag, don't you dare call Naruto a freak!" Sakura yelled before running over to him and grabbing him by his collar.

"Naruto is way more of a man, even in that form than you'll ever hope to be."

Naruto fired his energy beam at Megalon, Sakura hurled Gato into the path of the beam, vaporizing him, along with Megalon, destroying the Kaiju and the greedy businessman.

By this time Inari, Tsunami, and the rest of the citizens of Wave all showed up to fight Gato and his men, only to find an empty bridge and a very large dragon standing in the water next to the bridge. The large reptile began swaying from side to side before falling into the water on its back.

"Naruto-kun!" Haku shouts worriedly as she leaps into the water and swam over to him as he returned to his human form. Kakashi and Zabuza help Haku get the blonde out of the frigid water and back onto the bridge.

"Where are Gato and his goons, Tazuna?" a random man asked the Bridge Builder, who smiled at the sleeping blonde.

"Dead, all thanks to that special young man right there."
