Even though Brooke and Lucas had been married for 5 years now. They were still very much like newlyweds. Being unable to keep their hands off of each other. They made it a point to have date night once a week.
Being a nationwide successful super couple. Meant they were busy with their careers in one way or another at all times.
After trying to get pregnant in secret for the past few months. They were able to get pregnant.
The couple kept the news to themselves since it was early.
What they didn't expect. Was for Brooke to be awaken by pain and bleeding.
After being rushed to the hospital. Brooke and Lucas were glued to the ultrasound machine.
The ultrasound tech searched for a heartbeart for 30 minutes.
At some point she sighed deeply and looked to the couple.
"I'm sorry Mr. and Mrs. Scott. There is no heartbeat."
"There is nowhere to blame fault. These losses happen for no reason sometimes. Other times there may be an unhealthy element that simple caused the embreyo to not survive." She explained.
Lucas took Brooke straight home after everything needed was done.
According to what the doctor recommended.
Brooke needed. Hydration, good nutrition, light exercise, and sleep.
But most importantly she needed him as a support system.
