She'd found the little inlet, not far from Sanidin Park, long before Link became her appointed knight. Now it'd become her refuge. Some mornings she'd sneak down to the stables, grab her horse and make her way there. It was a bit of a journey, taking her half a day, but it was worth it. She'd spend the rest of the day writing notes on her research, or in her journal. Then she'd head back, sneaking in after hours.
It'd worked time and time again. But one afternoon her luck ran out. She was in the middle of writing down some thoughts and frustrations, when she heard the scuffing of shoes. Looking up, she saw a flash of blue tunic. She stood up quickly, looking for a way out, but finding none. She balled up her fists at her side, glaring at her intruder. "I told you to stop following me!" She cried. "How dare you follow me here!"
By then Link had made his way to the bottom of the inlet, and was now facing her. Giving her the same look he'd given her a week before, when he'd found her at the ruins.
She had hoped this place would have stayed a place of respite, but now it would not be. The thought made her nervous. She yelled at him, "Don't you know I need some space?" She couldn't bring herself to say emnow that you know, I can't find it/em. The loss was hard to bear. So much had been pressing in on her. This was the one place she could breathe, even if for a little while. Sighing she said, "Go, please, just go". Link just looked at her, a fiery spark igniting in his eyes. His fists balled up, giving her a quick shake of his head.
Inside her heart began to crumble. Where else could she find respite? He'd follow her wherever she went. Even if she could find a such a place again, he'd eventually find it. Where could she go where he couldn't follow? Then it hit her: Gerudo Town. Men were not permitted beyond the town gates. Surely she could hide there. She needed to do some research in the area anyway. Finding strength in a new course of action, she marched past the knight, and began to climb out of the inlet.
