"Momma. I'm wide awake."

"Daddy one more bedtime story please." Alaska insisted.

Brooke wrapped her arms around him. In a hug.

She couldn't wrap her head around. How 5 years had flew by so fast.

Alaska Scott. Was the sunshine. The center of his parents world.

And he knew it.

"One more story. But a short one. You have school."

"Growing boys need rest." Lucas replied.

"Yay!" Alaska replied. Reaching over and grabbing a book off the bookshelf in his room.

Brooke leaned over and kissed his forehead. "I love you." She proclaimed.

"I love you too momma." Alaska replied.

Brooke left the bedroom. And went into the hallway.

Wanting to give the two of them their bonding time.

Brooke's hands instantly went to her stomach these days.

She still couldn't believe that this was real. She was pregnant.

But given what doctors had told them.

As happy and excited as she was. Her and Lucas both were nervous and unsure if they wanted to share their news anytime soon.

She was 12 weeks in. Her stomach was no longer flat.

Her body was transforming from the pregnancy day by day.

Ever since she found out she's been on high alert.

Terrified to let this new reality sink in.

Afraid to make love to her husband.

She could feel it. She was too happy. Something in her life was going to go wrong.
