She was 5 going on 10. Smart. Beautiful. Full of personality. Strong. Had eye glasses. Black frames. She has Dyslexia.

is a learning disorder that involves difficulty reading due to problems identifying speech sounds and learning how they relate to letters and words

As of now. Her mom made her clothes.

"Morning Allie Cat!" Sage proclaimed. Seeing her big brother enter the kitchen.

With bed head and a frown.

"I made french toast. Eggs. sausage." Brooke announced. Plating the various dishes around the counter with food.

"I'll eat at school." Alaska replied. Holding tight to his already packed book bag.

"I'm going to be heading to the office. Who wants a ride to school.?" Lucas asked with a smile.

"Me!" Sage replied raising her hand.

Brooke handed off Sage's lunchbag and Alaska's lunch box.

"You may not understand why we have these rules in place. But you listening to them is important."

"If you're grades keep getting worse. And you aren't listening to teachers. You're mom and I will keep you off of all social media and electronics until things change." Lucas proclaimed.

"The two of you are ruining my life!" Alaska exclaimed. Before storming out of the kitchen.

Alaska was growing and changing. His personality was becoming alot more like his biological mother.

Lucas knew this based off the stories he had heard growing up about Taylor.

Lucas can admit he had started off hating Rachel Gatina for wanting access to Alaska at all. But at this point.

All these years later. The determination in her to be in his life hadn't changed. And something about that stuck out to Lucas.
