"Of course Haley would give us bedroom suites next to each other."
"I know we're in constant contact. Me. You. Haley. Rachel."
"But it's nice having moments like this. To regroup and enjoy the friendships we've build over the years."
"We've all finished unpacking. I'm surprised Haley doesn't have every minute planned out. She seems to be relaxing more about not needing to control get togethers that are supposd to be fun." Peyton proclaimed.
"Yeah it's a relief. I'm not in the mood for group activities anyway." Brooke replied. Closing the door to the backyard. As the best friends headed into the ongoing spacious area full of sky sand and water.
"What's going on with you.? You haven't smiled or laughed. And you've barely spoken since we all got here." Peyton questioned.

"So are you going to tell me what Haley and I walked in on earlier.?"
"The tension between you and Brooke. Was thick." Nathan questioned. Focusing his gaze on his brother.
"You know Brooke. If she doesn't get her way. She throws a fit."
'Nothing more then that." Lucas replied.
"If the two of you are having problems. Hales and I would be happy to help." Nathan replied.
"That goes for the three of us too." Mouth stated matter of fact. Entering the living room with Skills and Jake.
"I appreciate it more then you know. But I've got it under control." Lucas stated matter of fact.

"Oh my god! He really said that." Haley proclaimed.
"Wow saying things you don't mean is one thing. But this was far from that." Peyton added in.
"He said that to hurt you. But why.?" Rachel questioned.
"He's been holding on to this for some time."
"Wanting Taylor in Alaska's life. His true feelings regarding me and the part i played in what happened with Sage."
"I thought i was doing the right thing. Fighting for my daughter."
"I couldn't go through losing another baby. I fell in love with her long before i ever held her in my arms."
"Alaska and Sage's lives aren't going to mirror each other."
"But does that mean i should of just let her go all those years ago.?"
"I don't need perfect kids. They mean everything to me."
"Why isn't that enough for Lucas.?" Brooke asked. Her voice breaking with emotion.

"To give me this chance with Alaska."
