It was dark and somewhat foggy and the rain was cold like ice. Pete looked around seeing nothing then he heard a voice he didn't know who it was. Then he turned to face the direction the voice originated and saw Walter Sykes and his henchmen. He saw Sykes holding a gun on someone he couldn't see who it was. But his gut was telling him he already knew who it was. Sykes henchmen surrounded Pete keeping their guns pointed at him Sykes spoke.

"It is time to see you broken, see you suffer with yet another loss in your life. And I know this person's death will break you and turn you just like me!" Sykes yelled harshly, he pulled the trigger Pete watched as the shell ejected. And landed on the ground the shot rang out echoing in his mind. He saw blood soaking the ground he saw Sykes smiling then Sykes spoke again.

"I told you Agent Lattimer." Walter said with a sinister smile

Pete could now see the dead body's face clear as day. His mouth agape he muttered under his breath.

"Myka no, no it can't be, it isn't real, this is a trick." Pete refused to believe what he saw in front of him.

Sykes' men shoved him to the floor right in front of the corpse. He looked at the corpse and he couldn't believe it. She was dead. He checked for a heartbeat. There was nothing he tried CPR and nothing, still he felt tears flood his eyes and cover his face he let out a scream.

"Noooo!" Pete yelled

He shot up from his sleep. He was covered in sweat and tears. He couldn't help the tears that flooded his eyes. As he recalled the nightmare he forced his face into his pillow as he punched the wall in sadness and anger. After several seconds he heard his door open and he didn't care to look up.

Myka sat on the edge of his bed concerned she put her hand on his shoulder.

"Pete what's wrong ?" She asked him

He opened his eyes and sat up when he saw Myka. He couldn't help himself. He wrapped his arms around her and buried his face in her neck.

She repeated her question.

"I thought that having someone leave and walk away was what hurt the most. Damn, was I wrong Mykes, death and pain and the loss of that certain person. Is what hurts the most there's no pain that has hurt me so bad. I thought there was nothing worse than when my dad died and I was wrong. And now I know I can't live without that certain someone." Pete answered

"So you got a sensitive and emotional side to you. I never knew that." Myka said jokingly with a chuckle

Pete now had a grin on his face as he chuckled as well.

"I don't mean to pry… but what could possibly get such a reaction out of you ?" Myka asked hesitantly

Pete released her from his embrace and took a deep breath, his hands now joined with hers.

"I had been dreaming about the whole Walter Sykes case but it wasn't at all like the way it really happened. It was a dark rainy and foggy night. I was standing alone in the middle of nowhere, it was eerie. And suddenly I heard a voice and I saw Sykes, his goons were surrounding me. He had a gun aimed at someone and I had one of my really bad vibes. He cocked the gun and taunted me then pulled the trigger. Sykes and his goons vanished after they pushed me to the dirt in front of the body and I woke up screaming." Pete said

"How long has this dream been going on ?" Myka asked

"Just about two weeks, maybe a bit more, it started off with one of my exes being the dead body in the bad dream. Then to a randomly selected teammate but the past couple days it's been specifically you and I can't figure out why." Pete admitted

"If I had to guess I'd say it's because we have history and we have known each other since well before joining the Warehouse. And when we started developing this…relationship. That we currently have, it and I started to become more prevalent in your dreams." Myka said blushing softly

"That makes sense, we do seem to have a unique bond." Pete said
