Jack's face lighting up at the sight of his parents.
Brooke rushing over to him. Examining him.
Looking into his eyes. Holding his hand in hers.
"No more playing hero. Jackie. This could of been so much worse."
"I cannot believe Xzavier broke out of prison just to hurt you like this."
"You're going to be just fine." Brooke said. The emotion in her voice thick.
"It was my fault this was happening. If anyone was going to get hurt. Why shouldn't it be me."
"I'm sorry i worried the both of you."
"How are Sage and Alaska.?" Jack asked.
"Sage doesn't know what's going on. We will explain it to her though. Alaska's very worried. He's never been more quiet or still." Lucas replied.
"Once you're home i don't want you to think about anything but recovering. School can wait." Brooke proclaimed.
"I won't do anything like this again. I love the both of you." Jack replied.
"We love you too my boy. We can come back with you're siblings in a day or two." Lucas suggested.
"No. I want to see them now." Jack insisted.
Brooke and Lucas quietly made their way out of the hospital room.
"You can't and won't be taking our kids. We have enough going on without uprooting them." Lucas stated matter of fact.
Brooke looked to him. "As much as i don't want to admit it."
"You are right about that. I'll go without them. I have the old place i used to live in when Peyton and I were roommates."
"Once things settle down. We can't keep going back and forth like this. It isn't good or fair to anyone." Brooke replied.
"Then stay and let's figure it out." Lucas pleaded.
"I can't. I don't recognize you anymore."
"The man i fell in love with. Who i married."
"Would of never said all those things." Brooke proclaimed matter of fact.

Brooke felt her blood boil. Her anger. Frustration and rage.
Overflowing at the sight of Taylor sitting besides their children.
"Momma. Taylor said she's one of daddy's friends."
"She was nice she told us stories about her traveling. She got us snacks and drinks." Alaska explained.
"Come on kiddos. Jack wants to see you now." Lucas announced.
Alaska took ahold of Sage's hand as they left the waiting room.

Brooke's gaze locked on Taylor.
That warm smile soon leaving Taylor's face.
"You have no respect or sense of boundaries."
"Yet Lucas is pushing so hard for you to be Alaska's life."
"He may be blind to you're true motive but i'm not." Brooke proclaimed.
"Aww Brookie. Someone feeling threatened and jealous.?"
"The Scott boys have always had a weakness for me. Nathan. Now Lucas. Don't worry. Alaska won't call me me momma while you're around." Taylor said. Before leavig the hospital.
...
"When do you get to go home.? I don't like it here.?"
"It's too quiet and scary.?" Sage asked.
Jack smiled and looked to her. "That isn't up to me. I got hurt by a bad person. But if it's up to me. I'll be home as soon as i can." He replied.
"Good. I want you feel all better." Sage replied.
Jack hugged her lightly.
"I heard you are not being the person i know you can be."
"Figuring things out. Pushing limits is one thing."
"But you are smart. Tough. And can do and be anything you want."
"You have the world just waiting for you. Don't let anyone or anything get in the way of that." Jack stated matter of fact.
"I won't. Doctors get it wrong all the time."
"You're going to be okay right.?" Alaska asked.
"I will be. For most of my life i tried so hard to blend in and not be noticed. No one really cared where i was or what happened to me."
"I never knew what it meant to have love or a real family."
"When mom and dad found me. Took a chance on me."
"I promised to make sure they never regret it and i hope i did that." Jack proclaimed.
"Of course you did. You're the best brother." Alaska replied.
"Hold on to my necklace for me. A single raven."
"Dad got it for me. When as a adoption gift. I got my good luck."
"Now it's you're turn." Jack insisted. Removing the necklace and placing it around Alaska's neck.
Alaska engulfed Jack into a tight hug before leaving.

Jack felt the consuming wave of exhaustion and soreness overtook him. As he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Seeking some relief and peace from everything that gone on.
Hours Later
The heart monitor began to flatline loudly. Causing doctors to fly into the hospital room.
The doctor who had reached out to them at the start of the nightmare of the day.
Found Brooke and Lucas again.
"I'm sorry. Mr. and Mrs. Scott. Jack's heart stopped in his sleep."
"He's gone." The doctor admitted.
