I didn't want to break apart the family we had taken so long to build. Especially since we had somehow found a way to survive losing Jack. Yet i was in the process of planning to move out.
My marriage had become a shell of what it used to be.
And at this point. I had no idea how to fix it.
I was beginning to wonder if there was a point to even trying. Brooke thought to herself. As she entered into the bedroom they shared and started to pack her bags.

"I need to put a hold on everything work related."
"My family is going through enough without me going outside to travel." Lucas explained. To his editor.
Before ending the call between them.
"It's easier to do this when they aren't here."
"I don't want them upset. Their going through enough." Brooke proclaimed.
"I can't believe how easy and simple this is for you." Lucas replied.
"This isn't simple and it's not easy." Brooke said. The emotion in her voice thick.
