Secret Crisis:The Kang Dynasty Chapter 4
The heroes took respite at a local pizzeria to sit down and have a talk about what in the world just happened and what's going on.
"So. How much experience you guys have with the Multiverse?" Asked the girl.
"We've had plenty experience with the Multiverse in fact most recently we had I incident with Spider-Man" said Strange.
"What man?" Asked The girl.
"Spider-Man" said Peter.
"He has the powers of a spider" Explained Strange.
"Hense the name" added Wong
"Gross. No offense"
"None taken. What was your name again?" Asked Peter.
"America Chavez. So what do you do?" she asked.
"Climb walls. Shoot webs" said Peter.
"Out of your butt?" Asked America
"What? No!"
Peter rolls up his sleeve to reveal his webshooter.
"With this. It's my webshooter. I built it and make the webs myself." Explained Peter rolling his sleeve down.
"Well that answers one burning question I had" said Sara.
"Same here." Added Courtney
America then chowed down in two slices of pizza at once.
"You're gonna get a stomach ache" said Strange.
"I'm from another universe. How do you know my stomach doesn't work differently from yours?" Asked America.
"I hope it's a way where I could eat as much as I want without having to worry about putting on weight" adds Sara eating a slice.
"I don't. I don't even know if you're even from another universe which is why I'm still sitting here waiting for you to enlighten me." Explained Strange.
"Francamente, pero tres Doctor Strange que he concido, eres mi menos favorito" said America.
"Ouch" said Peter.
"Wait. You know what she said?" Asked Sara.
"Which means?" Asked Strange
"Esto Bueno Español?" Asked America
"Claramente no" said Peter.
"Ni siquiera cero que sepa su propio idioma" adds Wong.
"Wait. You both actually speak Spanish?" Asked Sara
"Si. Tome Español en la escuella secundaria" said Peter with a wink to America.
"He said he took classes in high school" said Wong.
"Well that and a deli in Queens is owned by Latino" said Peter.
"Okay back on topic. You. Kid. Why were you after the Book of Vishanti. Why were Strange and I the ones who took you there?" Asked Sara.
"The Book of Vi whatti?" Asked Courtney.
"You know of the Book of Vishanti? How?" Asked Wong.
"Yeah it's supposed to be a myth. A fairy tale." Added Strange.
"Actually it's not." said Wong.
"Constantine explained how it's supposed to be the antithesis to the Darkhold. The same one my team are in current possession of" Explained Sara.
"You don't know what dark magic you posses Sara Lance." said Wong.
"If Constantine knows about the Book of Vishanti, he knows about the Darkhold so I'm pretty sure we can handle it." Explained Sara.
"Speaking of which, Doc where have you been? Ever since the other Spider-People showed up here you've just dissappeared of the face of the earth." said Peter
"That's because I had to help with an incursion on Earth-2. My new associate who called for my services just so happened to be the Sorcerer Supreme of the Dark Dimension and niece of Dormammu" Explained Strange.
"And you're first Instinct was to trust her?" Asked Wong.
"I did. She showed me the incursion on Earth-2 that we couldn't stop. Small town of Blue Valley didn't stand a chance. There's nothing left of it now." Explained Strange.
Peter coughs as he tilts his head to the side towards Courtney.
"W-What?" she asked.
"That was your home wasn't it? Where you came from?" Asked Strange.
Courtney nods her head yes.
"I'm so sorry kid. We tried out best but there was nothing we could do." Explained Strange.
"All my friends. My family. All gone..."
"Courtney began to form tears in her eyes.
"I said I'm gonna help you find The Flash and that's exactly what I'm going to do." said Peter.
"Why Flash?" Asked Sara.
"Because if there's someone who can fix this, it's him." Explained Peter.
"Kid didn't you hear a word I just..."
Strange got interrupted by Wong signaling him to stop and not to kill any hope there might be.
"He's right. If you can find The Flash, you can find the more people experienced in the multiverse who can fix this Courtney." assured Strange.
"Now. You said these monsters were after you. Why?" Asked Peter.
"I can travel through the Multiverse." said America
"The portal. In the dream your eyes turned blue and there was a star shaped breach that dragged us all in. If you came through here. Where's the rest of us?" Asked Sara.
America then took the group to a roof where she first landed with the bodies of Earth-838 Strange and Earth-637 Sara.
"Oh God!" said Peter jolting back.
"Guess even in other universes I always die at least once." said Sara looking at her variant.
"Nice ponytail" said Courtney.
"Was never really my style." said Strange.
"Those dreams you both had weren't dreams. They were others yous from the Multiverse." Explained America.
"Dreams windows the lives into our multiversal selves" said Strange.
"That was his theory" added America
"So the recurring nightmare of me running naked away from a clown?" Asked Wong
"Somewhere out there" said America.
"Well that was an image I didn't need to see" said Sara.
"Well whatever has been after America isn't gonna stop. They're gonna keep coming after her." Explained Peter.
"Ms. Chavez. Come with us to Kamar-taj. You'll be safe there" assured Wong.
"How will I know you won't betray me like he did?" Asked America.
"You're just gonna have to trust us" said Strange.
"What do we do about them?" Asked Courtney looking at the corpses.
Strange then opens the roof to bury the bodies of his and Sara's alter versions.
"America. Go with Doctor Strange and Wong to Kamar-taj. There should be other people from the Multiverse there to offer extra protection. Sara, Courtney, were heading to Central City." said Peter
"Captain to Waverider! We're gonna need a pick up" said Sara.
"Copy that Cap. We're en route. Stand by" said Nate.
"Good luck kid" said Strange as he and Peter exchanged a handshake and take America to Kamar-taj.
