Secret Crisis: The Kang Dynasty Chapter 6
Sara and Peter arrive into the cockpit seeing that indeed Courtney was staring out the window.
Peter walks up to his new friend to check up on her.
"How ya holding up?"
"I'm not holding anything. Because I lost everything." she tells him.
"I know. And I'm so sorry. Look we shouldn't be much farther away until we get to Central City." said Peter.
"I've been thinking, if my world really is gone? Nothing left and all that? What can The Flash actually do to help?" Asked Courtney.
"Not lose hope. Always find another way. Even when things are at its bleakest." said Peter.
"Sure I guess." said Courtney.
"Hey. I know your friends and family would have wanted you to keep going. Fighting the good fight right? Look I recently lost my Aunt May. She was the only bit of family I had left. It's been pretty hard since then even up until now to really keep going. But, over time. The people you've met along the way, remind you that you're not as alone as you think you are. Or that you haven't lost everything yet. So as much as you probably think now there's not reason to ask The Flash for help, it couldn't hurt to try." said Peter.
"Thanks Peter." said Courtney.
"No problem"
Peter gives the girl a side hug as Sara watches on.
"Everything alright?" Asked Loki essentially appearing out of nowhere
"Scared the shit outta me!" said Sara.
"Sorry"
Sara then hands Loki back his sword.
"Captain Lance! I've detected a Multiversal intruder in Central City." said Gideon
"Location?" Asked Sara
"Downtown. It appears a variant of Doctor Octopus is on Earth Prime currently in a battle with The Flash." Explained Gideon
"Can you call him? Patch us through his comms." suggested Peter.
"Right away Mr. Parker." said Gideon
Central City,
Barry Allen aka The Flash was zipping around Olivia Octavius dodging tentacles.
"HEY DOC OCK! Too slow!" Shouts Barry throwing a lightning bolt.
"Barry? Barry you there?!"
"Pete? What are you doing on the comms?" Asked Barry.
"We're closing in on Central City with an assist. Just sit tight" said Sara.
"Guys it's cool. I actually got this handled..."
Barry then gets slammed by a tentacle into a car and gets picked up and tossed into a building.
"On second thought... Backup would be nice"
Olivia climbs up and pulls Barry by his feet and tossed him out the building into another as she then makes a break for it.
She heads to the new Central City Monorail system as she climbs in top of the train.
But then a streak of lightning arrives as does Barry.
"No more stops from here until the end of the line." said Olivia.
"Guys. Doc Ock is planning to crash the train. Chester I'm gonna need for you to hack into the mainframe and try to stop this train.
"On it boss." said Chester.
Barry uses is cyclone attack as Olivia uses her tentacles to hold herself down.
Barry speeds into a punch knocking her on her back but her tentacles gave her the rebound she needed to crawl to the side of the train and tossing Barry in with the passengers.
"Any time now on stopping the train" said Barry being slammed face first into the window.
"Taking a little longer than I'd like boss" said Chester.
Meanwhile Peter was rapidly swinging towards the train as fast a she could with Star Girl and Sara following him.
On top of the train, Barry zooms in blocking attacks from the tentacles trying it close in with a speedster punch.
Olivia groan as she grabbed him by the head and plants him face first into the steel.
Barry then ran around her forming a mini tornado as Olivia held herself down and smacked Barry with her tentacles causing him to tumble to the streets below. However he was saved by the mysterious Spider-Girl from the future who came swinging in from nowhere.
"Well well well. If it ain't Spider-Girl! (Read Green Arrow Annual)" said Olivia.
"Causing havock here in the present Doc? After our last fight, I was worried you'd skip town" said Spider-Girl.
"I had other plans. Like crashing this train" she said.
Spider-Girl webs up two tentacles as she hits a slingshot kick onto Olivia. She then grabs Spider-Girl by her shoulders as she then tosses her through an oncoming overpass. But the webs linger corkscrews through the crowd and back outside as she dives in with a tackle taking the fight on the side of the train.
The two then began exchanging punches while dodging tentacles. Passengers from the loading dock were quickly scooted back as they were rapidly approaching. Olivia grabs Spider-Girl and slammed her through the train car but Spider-Girl used the pole to swing back out as she fired a webline on her. But her tentacle proved too strong as Spider-Girl had to hold herself on the train before she could fall off. Her spider sense goes off as another train almost hits her so she leans on the train as it passed through.
Spider-Girl climbed on top catching her breath trying to find Octavius.
The claw of the tentacle signals her as she crawls onto the window only to see Olivia smack her in the face from the other side of the train causing her to fall.
However Spider-Girl used the momentum from the cars to zip her back up for a swing.
She leaps into a building and leaps from that one for a dive back into the fight.
Olivia groans with frustration.
"Why won't you DIE!"
She grabs Spider-Girl and pulls her in, wrapping her tentacles around her, crushing her.
"INCOMING!!!" shouts Peter swinging feet first onto Doc Ock freeing Spider-Girl.
"Another Spider-Girl?" Asked Peter.
She could only just stand gobsmacked until reality hits back with Olivia making her return.
"Uhhh. Okay! Listen I need you to help my friends get these people off this train. I'll try to stop it from here." said Peter.
"You got it dad." said Spider-Girl to herself.
"What was that?" Asked Peter.
"I said you can count on me!"
Spider-Girl then swings back into the train car as she's met with Flash, Star Girl and White Canary.
"Spider-Man said we need to get these people off this train." said Spider-Girl.
"I got it!" said Flash as he zooms every single passenger out of the train to safety.
"Wow. That was fast" said Star Girl.
"Thats kinda my thing. Wait who are you?" Asked Flash.
"Never mind that. We need to figure our how to stop this train.
Spider-Man swings into Olivia with a double kick as she tried to grab him only for him to latch onto a tentacle for a double push kick.
She then grabs him by the shoulder and slams him back and forth over her.
Sara and the others thanks to Barry get back to the top of the train as Olivia slams Peter on the side of the train and tried to force him down as he desperately tries to get free.
Peter slides down further and further as he gets hit with signs on his head.
Olivia then hears an incoming train and drops Peter causing him to splatter against it.
"No!" Shouts Sara.
"Look!" shouts Spider-Girl.
Hope was not lost as Peter swings back up and makes his way back.
Enraged, Olivia makes her way to the front and takes out the conductor to hit thr accelerator to the max and tear off the stick.
Barry quickly gets the others back to the ground as the train was reaching full speed.
Peter lands behind Olivia as he held the train going faster.
"You have a train to catch" she said bidding adieu.
"Oh man, oh man, oh man"
Peter was starting to panic. If he didn't stop this train, innocent people will die.
"Okay Parker think"
He leaps to the very front of the train as the conductor tells him,
"I CAN'T STOP IT! THE BREAKS ARE GONE!!"
"Hold on sir!" shouts Peter.
Peter then thought back to when the Ferry was split in half. So he then thwips webs as many as he could onto building beside him and grabbed onto them.
He holds the webs in place in an effort to slow the train down.
The front of the train began to dent as Spider-Man did everything in his power with all his might to slow down the train.
As he was continuing to hold onto dear life, the train was beginning to slow down.
Peter felt his suit slowly tear at the arms but he didn't care. The track was running out as the blockade was rapidly approaching.
Peter groaned and screamed trying every last bit of strength he had to slow the train down until it crashed through the blockade and began to teeter off until, finally, the train came to its stop.
Barry took the others to where the train was as Spider-Man out of exhaustion, let's go of the webs and collapsed until Barry ran to catch him and saved the conductor.
"Is he okay?" Asked the conductor.
Barry goes to check on his pulse.
"He's just tired. But he's gonna be alright." said Flash.
"Whenever he wakes up, tell him I said thanks. For saving us. And the city." said the conductor taking his leave.
Then Supegirl and Peter-3 arrive on the scene.
"No no no no no. C'mon buddy. Wake up." said Peter-3
"Peter-3?"Asked Barry
"Oh. It's you!" said Peter-3
"Kara? What are you doing here?" Asked Sara.
"The Amazing Spider-Man landed in National City. Next thing we knew, we saw well, this happen." said Kara.
"There's something you should know" said Spider-Girl.
"What is it?" Asked Barry.
"My name is Annie-May Parker. I'm Peter Parker's daughter."
The group then take in this shocking revelation as Peter-1 was down and out.
