Secret Crisis: The Kang Dynasty Chapter 12
The Hall of Justice,
Supergirl called in an emergency meeting calling forth, Superman, Martian Manhunter, Batwoman, Green Arrow and Black Lightning in the Aftermath of The Avengers attack.
"I've called you all here for this emergency impromptu meeting. A matter of hours ago, The Avengers were compromised along with one of our own. We believe Kang The Conqueror had sent the same Dominator Mind control device thsg once had myself and Sara Lance under its influence years ago. However thanks to the valiant efforts of Spider-Man and Sara, the mind control device is destroyed. However Avengers Mansion is under reconstruction. I've alerted Tony Stark on the situation."
"Speaking of Sara. Where is she? Where's Barry?" Asked J'onn
"Her team along with Spider-Man are currently in Wakanda. I've been keeping tabs on them as the situation develops." said Kara.
"What about Barry?" Asked Jefferson.
Just then, Barry arrived via the Speed Force along with Jay Garrick and Star Girl.
"What's going on?" Barry.
"After we left, The Avengers were under Dominator Mind Controller Barry" Explained Kara.
"Including me" added Mia.
"How did this happen? Is Sara and Peter alright?" Asked Barry.
"They're fine. Thanks to the both of them, everyone is back to normal" said Mia.
"Guys this is Jay Garrick a Flash from another Earth and Courtney Whitmore or on her earth, Star Girl." said Barry.
"Well. An earth I don't have anymore." Explained Courtney.
"An incursion was the cause of Earth-2 and its destruction. We were told This earth's Sorcerer Supreme and the Sorceress Supreme of the Dark Dimension tried valiantly to stop it but it was too late." Explained Jay.
"So how are we supposed to stop this Kang? What do we even know about him?" Asked Ryan.
"That's where I come in."
Mia then placed S.H.I.E.L.D files on the table with photos and papers spilled out.
S.H.I.E.L.D couldn't be much to help. But this was what I could dig up.
"30th century. Advanced tech and weapons. Decades upon decades of military experience, training, you name it. Expert hand to hand combatant. Unparalleled time travel technology."
"Well that explains the Dominator tech making a resurgence" said Barry.
"So. We thinking he can just bring things from any point and time and possibly try to take over the world?" Asked Jefferson.
"Multiverse likely" added Mia.
"We need a plan of defense. Because odds are attacking Kang with brute force won't be enough if we can't protect the people of earth." Explained Clark.
"Which is why Peter and Sara manged to enlist the nation of Wakanda to our cause." said Kara.
"Alright. I suggest we enlist the Fantastic Four and The X-Men. After that we all begin preparing for the Exodus Protocol." said Kara.
"Which is what exactly?" Asked Ryan
"We evacuate our respective cities and take them into S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarriers Stark will provide." Explained Kara.
"And take them where?" Asked Jefferson.
"We don't know. Frankly we don't truly know the capacity of Kang to figure out that far ahead." Explained Kara.
"Well we have to try anyway. Saving the people comes first." adds Clark.
"He's right. We all formed this group to safeguard this earth and humanity in case a Crisis of this scale were to happen again. That's exactly what we're going to do." said J'onn.
"So. We're all in agreement then?" Asked Barry.
Everyone seems to give the approval nod.
"Well alright then. That's settled. Get me a line to Reed Richards!" said Barry.
Medical bay, T'Challa's palace
Peter watches over his daughter and multiversal brother as they were resting up.
"I know that look. You worry too much." said T'Challa walking up to Peter.
"It seems like I just met her yesterday. Maybe it was at this point. Now that she dropped this bombshell about me being her dad in the future, it's like I've finally got some purpose again." said Peter.
"You were lacking purpose? For how long?" Asked T'Challa.
"My Aunt May died several months ago. I couldn't save her. She was the last bit of family I had left. For some long since then, I've been having a hard time moving on and forward. My girlfriend and my best friend are all I have left now." Explained Peter.
"Would you like to know something Peter? In my culture, death is not the end. It's more of a stepping off point. They are always with us. As long as we don't forget them." Explained T'Challa.
"Have you ever been faced with a fate where you're supposed to die before you actually should?" Asked Peter.
"The living are not done with you yet my friend. That I do know." Explained T'Challa.
Peter returns his gaze to his daughter and Peter-3.
"Come Peter. They should be all better within the hour. Perhaps you and your friends would like something to eat. Perhaps a reprieve from your recent battles." offered T'Challa.
"Yeah. Yeah I would like that." said Peter.
"Good. Now, let us head towards the banquet hall".
