Secret Crisis:The Kang Dynasty Chapter 17
Back at the lab, the siren goes off with everyone panicking.
"What's going on?" Asked America.
"I'm not sure..." said Ray pulling up the feed.
"Okay we may have a slight problem" he says.
"We got to get the girl out of here." said Caitlin.
"I'm sure the Sentries have thus under control." assured Ray.
The sounds of sentries being sent through the otherside of thr lab door grow increasingly louder and numerous as Ray's slight concern turns to a great one.
"Yeah we need to let America out of here." said Ray.
However America then started to punch her way out as the glass left a star imprint crack. Realizing this, America kept punching and punching freeing herself.
"Get Doctor Strange's cloak. Now!" said America.
"Caitlin quickly goes to grab the cloak freeing it as it flies next to America.
Meanwhile through the smoke, Carnage tears off the head of another Sentry.
"Ultron commands you to surrender" said the head of the Sentry as it rolled on the floor.
"Ultron commands you to surrend-"
Carnage crushed the head as he then reverts back to Cletus.
"Oh god. That thing is coming." said America.
Caitlin goes to grab an experimental sonic disruption gun to protect everyone from Cletus.
"Ray, America, get behind me! I'll buy you some time" she said aiming the gun at Cletus.
"Well lookie here. I found youuuu" said Cletus with a Sinister grin.
"Good. Let's grab her and get out of here" adds Carnage.
"C'mon. C'mon." said Caitlin to herself finger itching on the trigger.
He inches closer and closer but help has arrived as the Illuminati land in front of Cletus.
"That's enough Kassidy!" said Reed.
"Have we met?" Asked Cletus confused as to how these costumed wonders know him.
"You're on the wrong earth. Whoever sent you here, sent you on a suicide mission." Reed continues.
Carnage then takes form.
"Oh It's actually the other way around" said Carnage.
Cletus, Blackbolt can destroy you with just one whisper from his mouth" said Reed
Blackbolt folding his arms with a smile of confidence preparing to speak.
Cletus shows his face as he then says.
"Hmm. Good point."
Carnage forms a tendril that quickly wraps around Blackbolt's neck and mouth, pulling him in to bite his head off and tosses the body like a soda can.
"What mouth?" Asked Carnage.
Reed then goes to grab Carnage with his elongated powers as Carnage then spins like a tornado so fast he tears Reed Richards to literal shreds of ribbons as his screams of pain and agony were his last.
"Oh no" said Ben.
Kira using the power of the yellow dino gem using her Pterodactyl scream onto Carnage doing some damage. But how the Carnage Symbiote is significantly stronger than the Venom Symbiote, Carnage had more time to react before retreating back into Cletus by smacking Kira across the floor.
Spinnerette, Captain Marvel and Captain Carter go after Carnage as Ben gets Kira.
Maria fired a photon blast, Spinnerette blinds Carnage as Peggy threw the shield at his head. But Carnage catches the vibranium shield with his mouth and throws it at Maria. Spinnerette webs the shield back and gives it to Peggy as the two charge after him.
Spinnerette does a flip kick off Carnage as Captain Carter with her jetpack boosts up to Carnage slicing a limb off with the shield.
Carnage let's out a roar with his limb reattaching onto him. He grabs Peggy by her throat to pull her in to bite her head off.
"POWER UP!" he shouts
Maria saves Peggy with a photon blast as MJ webs over a pillar onto Carnage's head. Smacking him down as the rubble and debris shattered creating blinding smoke.
"Take us to the book of Vishanti so we can fight that thing together!" said Strange.
"You are in no position to give orders. My vote will conclude these proceedings when they return! " said Mordo
"Mordo please, they don't stand a chance against whatever that thing is out there, you gotta let us help and save America Chavez." pleaded Peter.
"You are in no position to give orders either Peter Parker!"
"My wife is out there!"
"SHE IS NOT YOUR WIFE! Her husband died at the hands of the monster that stands next to you and I will not allow another Peter Parker to die!" shouts Mordo.
Peter then effortlessly breaks free from his hand cuffs much to the shock of Doctor Strange and Sara.
"You could break out of those things the whole time?" Asked Strange.
"Now let us go!" demanded Peter.
Maria, Peggy and MJ are looking through the smoke trying to get a lock on Cletus.
There was only silence. Silence and a tendril slowly slithering around them like a serpent.
MJ's spider sense goes off wither turning to see Peggy and Maria wrapped and muffled squirming to get free. She tries to free them with her webbing only to be kicked across the room into a pillar and falling unconscious.
Meanwhile Carnage snapped both their necks and ate their heads.
"Hey Carnage! You know what time it is?" Asked Ben.
Carnage turned to see Ben and Kira ready with the Omnitrix and Morpher on wrist.
"IT'S HERO TIME!"
"IT'S MORPHIN TIME!"
Ben selected Echo Echo as Kira shouts
"DINO THUNDER! POWER UP! HA!"
Echo Echo multiplies and used his sonic scream stunning Carnage in place as Kira fired her Thunder max blaster.
Carnage screams as he formed giant axe head blades from his hands causing the two to dodge out of the way.
"You better have a plan Ben!" said Kira.
"I do"
Ben presses the Omnitrix logo on his chest turning into
"ULTIMATE ECHO ECHO"
"Now I got ya. Super Dino Mode!" shouts Kira.
Kira used her Pterodactyl wings and flew with her blaster in hand and started firing.
"Whatever your gonna do, do it now!" shouts Kira as she gets hit and sparks flew from her suit.
Ben then fired sonic blasts from his hands sending Carnage crashing into the statue placed there crashing on top of him.
"Are you ever gonna explain why sparks fly every time you get hit?" Asked Ben helping her Kira up.
"Morphing Grid stuff you wouldn't understand." she answered.
Carnage throws the statue off of him as he roars and more tendrils and arms form out of him.
"Oh great. He can grow arms." said Ben
Kira then looked up to the ceiling and thought of a plan.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Bring the house down on him? Yeah!" said Ben with a nod.
"Ptera Grips!" shouts Kira flying into Carnage slicing the extra appendages off keeping Carnage distracted.
Ben then used Ultimate Echo Echo' sonic disks on his body to fly and circle around Cletus.
"SONIC DOOM!"
Kira flies back down and powers down to use her Ptera Screech on the ceiling to help bring everything come crashing down onto Carnage. Rubble and debris and all.
The attack was so powerful, Carnage flees from Cletus but gets caught in the rubble as everything was left in a smokey dust ruin with the sound of the smallest pebble bouncing off and down to the ground.
Ben powered down too breathing a sigh of relief.
"We did it"
"But a what cost?" Asked Kira looking at the carcasses of her fallen friends.
"But at least the kid is safe. C'mon. Let's go help up MJ." said Ben
The sound of rubble was heard
"What was that?" Asked Kira.
Unbeknownst to them, the Carnage Symbiote was underneath.
"Probably just some extra rubble."
They continued to walk as then a piercing tendril stabs Kira through the abdomen.
"Ben?"she asked as Ben was next.
Carnage emerged from the rubble wrapping their wrists so they couldn't change.
"Shut. Your. mouths!"
Carnage tore them into pieces leaving their body parts flying across the floor.
"They're not coming back. You just cast your vote now to kill your friends. Not that it ever bothered you before" said Strange.
Mordo then listens on.
"You know you hate me where I came from. And I bet secretly my brother you hated me here. You must've been so jealous. You know what? I bet you were thrilled when you heard I was gone for a while hoping I'd never come back"
"YOU KNOW NOTHING of this universe!" shouts Mordo.
"I know that Steven Strange out of the picture was your ticket to the Sanctum and your little circus group The Illuminati!"
"I'M READY! To cast my vote. Now"
Mordo pulls out his sword and let's out a battle scream leaping into the fight against the three.
As he lands, Sara used the opportunity to have Mordo cut her cuff chain freeing her.
Strange hits Mordo with an elbow to the face and does a sweep kick sending him back.
Peter yanks his sword and tossed it to Sara.
Peter then thwips webs keeps Mordo distracted as Sara cuts Strange free.
Mordo uses a binding spell to cuff Peter's hands together until Peter decides to swing Mordo around until he used the Vaulting Boots of Valtor to knock Peter down.
Mordo then pulls out the Staff of the Living Tribunal and swings it at Peter with the added boost from the boots.
"Hold still"
Sara slices the cuffs clean as they both get them off their wrists too.
"Any idea on how we beat this guy?" she asked.
"We just need to outsmart him. He's overconfident and was always too by the book.
Peter leaps and swings around dodging Mordo's attacks with Peter going for the wall to try to run across it for a web strike.
"Alright. Get me up there" said Sara.
Peter goes for the web strike as Mordo counters by throwing him to the ground.
Strange conjured jump pads for Sara to leap on hitting Karl with a jumping kick to his face. She throws the sword back at Mordo as he catches it, going for a killing blow as Peter catch the blade with his hands protecting Sara.
Sara pulls out her baton and strikes Mordo across the face. The two then fought across the room as Mordo pins her to the wall by the throat about to go for the kill with his sword. However Strange makes the save taking the fight into a gap behind the chairs in the lower ground.
Strange goes for another elbow onto the throat and blocks all of Mordo's attacks until he gets caught in a choke hold and then used his momentum to sweep below to get him off. Mordo goes for a kick but Strange ducks as the hit landed on the wall instead.
Seeing a way up, Strange runs and does a kick onto Mordo, giving him a boost to parkour back up.
"Let's go" he said.
"I think I'm beginning to understand why your Mordo, DIDN'T LIKE YOU VERY MUCH!" shouts Mordo as Strange, Sara and Peter, made their escape.
"Go find the Book, I'll get America" said Peter headed to the main foyer where they kept her.
"Peter WAIT!" shouts Sara as Strange pulls her back
Meanwhile Carnage gets to the door of the lab using tendrils to open.
Caitlin was eyes locked on Carnage ready to fire until...
"ENOUGH!!!"
Charles makes his presence using his telepathic powers on Carnage to attack him from his mind.
"Quick, now that he's distracted" said Caitlin as she and Ray hurry to where the Way point to the Book is.
Charles finds himself in the halls of the Ravenscroft Institute for the Criminally Insane. The only thing that was there was Cletus' Cell. Charles makes the long walk through the dark halls hearing the screams of his victims echo throughout.
He sees Cletus sitting in the chair, back facing Charles. He slowly approached him trying to touch his shoulder only for Cletus to dissappear into a pile of his prison clothes.
Then the sounds of cell doors closing grew louder and louder essentially locking Charles in. He looks around to find a way out and win only for Cletus to stand in front of him with a knife in hand.
"Put the knife down Cletus" Charles demanded.
Cletus did just that as he then let's out a giggle of anticipation seeing something behind Charles.
After a few mere moments of silence... Carnage bites his head clean off as back in the real world, Professor Charles Xavier dies in his hover chair.
Carnage reverts back inside as Cletus says,
"I never needed a shrink anyway"
