Chapter 9: The Train Before UA

"Do you have everything ready Izuku?" Inko asked as she sat at the kitchen table, smiling as she saw Izuku packing his yellow backpack with notebooks, pens and other essential school supplies. Today was his first day at UA, and seeing her baby boy in his school uniform brought her such joy. She didn't believe in a million years that he would be given a recommendation for their Heroics Course, nor did she ever think it would have been offered to him by the principal himself. Despite everything, he was finally getting the chance to shine like she always hoped for.

Izuku didn't even hear his mom ask anything, his mind wondering how his first day would go or what class he would be in. He hoped that he would be placed in whatever class that All Might was looking after. He huffed with a smile as he put his backpack on, looking at his mom and wavering good-bye to her while still in his own zone.

He ran out of his apartment, running to the train station and heading to the school. During that time he was thinking, wondering what it would be like. He heard that orientation was a large assembly, and that the school would give out a few gifts to the students for just achieving their place in their prestigious school. He hoped it was something like maybe a special UA branded notebook, or maybe something else useful. His mind ran as he held onto the handle on the train, looking out the window as he waited for the train to take off. Today was going to be a good day.

~~Meanwhile in the Duelists' Realm~~

Seto sighed as he sat on his throne, the other three thinking to themselves after their last discussion about what to do and give Izuku next. Jaden mentioned, again, about giving him Polymerization and some fusion cards from his deck, while Joey and Pharaoh leaned more towards giving him more spells to add to his arsenal. Seto, however, silenced them all when he offered his idea of it being time to give Izuku their trump cards. Seto told them it was time for Izuku to stop fighting with little monsters and start having creatures that can handle more powerful opponents and to be able to better fight against the Shadow Duelists once another appears. This, being said from Seto, was a shocker to them all. After a few minutes of silence the three other duelists spoke in almost perfect unison.

"Okay, we agree."

~~Back to Izuku~~

With some pep in his step Izuku got off the train, stretching as he walked through the crowd to get to the streets and ran the rest of the way to the school. He was early by a good amount of time, but that just meant more time to gawk at the UA itself. He was prepared and ready to tackle the school's challenges, and become the next symbol of peace!

~~Author's Notes~~

(Alright, sorry for the short as hell chapter first of all. I know it's really crudy to have such a short one, but to be honest with y'all I am at a wall with where to take this at the moment. I have caught up to what I have written in my notebooks beforehand much faster than I imagined. That being said I can not stress enough that I am -NOT- abandoning this fanfic. I want to take this atleast to the first confrontation with All for One, and maybe farther depending how I write things.)

(So with that being said, I am taking a break from this work, and will be working on a fanfic of MHA with no crossovers as something to work on and give me some time to think on how to continue this. In the meantime I am more then glad to here some ideas from you folks, maybe it's what I need to jump start the flow like I had originally. Thank you guys again! And remember, this is -NOT- being abandoned. I am not going to be that kind of writer xD)
