Saitama opened his eyes and found the world was, spinning? He remembered his fist connecting with that guys face then he blinked and was just, here. Suddenly the already spinning floor opened like a trapdoor. He fell out of the swirling dimensional space and found himself freefalling. He hit the ground with a thud, leaving a crater in the concrete where he landed. Saitama stood up and dusted himself off. He looked around his new environment. It reminded him of New York City. He'd been there once and the architectures was nearly identical, except for the fact that there was a hulking building with a giant 'A' on it.
Just then Saitama heard the sound of thrusters humming. He saw a man in a robot suit land on the ground, palms raised and glowing. Behind him a large jet landed, where out walked a man with a striped frisbee, a giant green thing, a Viking, a red headed woman, and a man with a bow and arrow on his back.
A whistling sound caught his attention, Saitama turned and looked behind him to see an oval shaped portal opening. Out walked a man dressed in a strange cloak with a glowing necklace.
"Strange? What are you doing here?" Robot man asked, sounding surprised.
"I sensed an abundance of cosmic energy coming from here and came to neutralize the threat before it could become a danger to our world."
"Well then if that's the case we better take him down. Avengers, assemble!"
Just then the strangely dressed people charged at Saitama, who still just stood still in confusion.
He felt two beams of energy prickle at his chest. His cheeks turned red as he tried not to laugh, it really tickled! Just then the multicolored frisbee flew through the air, hitting him between the eyes. An arrow flew at his shoulder, bouncing off and landing harmlessly at the ground. Just then the red headed woman shot a dart at him, having the same effect as the arrow.
Seeing that their attacks weren't doing anything, they stepped back and made room for the green man and the Viking lord to walk forward.
Suddenly a big green fist slammed into Saitama, scooting him backwards a bit. Green fists continued to hammer at him, all having little effect.
As Saitama raised his hands to counterattack, he found two magic whips grew out of the ground and held them in place, pulling Saitama onto his knees.
The green man continued hammering down on his face, as now the others were joining back in. The lightning man was electrocuting him, he was being tickled by a more powerful beam of energy than before and there were bullets and arrows clattering all over him, not to mention the flying cape that was wrapping itself around him. Saitama eyebrow twitched in annoyance, these people just need to leave him alone!
"ENOUGH!" Saitama yelled, generating a shockwave which knocked all of the Avengers and the wizard back.
He stood up, seeing that the shockwave took out most of the strange people. The ones left standing were the robot man, the Viking, the green man, and the wizard. The robot man came first, flying at him with his thrusters at full power. Saitama caught the man and tossed him into a nearby storefront, shattering the glass and knocking the man unconscious. Next up was the green man, who raised his foot to kick Saitama. He caught the green giants foot easily, swinging him by it and throwing him into a nearby warehouse, destroying cars and the warehouse from the force.
The Viking threw his hammer at Saitama, which he swatted to the ground.
"I think you lost this," Saitama said, reaching down and lifting up the hammer.
He saw the Viking man's eyes widen, he did not know why though. Saitama threw the hammer back towards the Viking man, who in his shocked state caught it without thinking. The hammer carried the Viking man through multiple buildings before finally launching him into the clouds.
The flying cape continued to fry and wrap itself around Saitama, who merely blew on it. Sending it flying back to the wizard and wrapping itself around his face. The cape quickly straightened itself out and resumed its place on the wizards back. The wizard surveyed the destruction around him and decided he only had one choice. The wizard moved his hands in mysterious motions, as the glowing necklace slowly unraveled itself revealing a gem like substance inside. The wizard threw his arms out beside him, sending out a wave of green energy across the entire area. Saitama saw everything around him freeze, except for the wizard who seemed to be making a large blade out of glowing energy. Saitama took a step forward, shocking the wizard.
"You shouldn't be able to move! Time is, time is frozen!" The wizard exclaimed.
Frozen huh? Saitama didn't feel any different, he could still move like he normally could. Or so he thought. Deciding to test his theory, Saitama got ready to run. In a blur of speed suddenly Saitama was behind the wizard, who barley had time to put up a force field before Saitama flicked him. The wizard was sent flying across the battlefield, but was still conscious. Just then the world relieved it's green hue and time resumed like normal.
"Yep, didn't get frozen." Saitama muttered to himself, sounding a bit disappointed.
Just then a loud boom rang out from the sky and a burst of energy went through the clouds. He saw the wizard smile before something slammed into him.
Saitama was sent flying into a building, destroying its foundations and making it crumple atop him.
"Why are you here Danvers?" The wizard asked the new arrival, presumably Danvers.
"I felt a wave of cosmic energy, which I traced back to here. I see you've got quite the mess here. As usual I'll clean it up." The woman, Danvers said with a snark in her tone.
Saitama burst through the rubble, walking back onto the battlefield, where he saw a pretty blonde woman in a suit with some kind of bird on its chest. She was glowing with a nexus of energy, it was encasing her body like an aura.
"I am Captain Marvel, most powerful hero in all the nine realms. You're a fool if you think you can stand up to me, save yourself the embarrassment and surrender now."
Saitama smiled, "Most powerful hero in all the nine realms?" Nine? Saitama didn't know that there were two! "Show me what you got, don't hold back. I wanna see how strong you are."
Captain Marvel grit her teeth, the gall of this man. Assuming he could handle her full power! She'd show him, nobody could match her! She was the strongest!
With a battle fry she burst at Saitama in a flurry of energy. With a smile on his face, Saitama charged back and released a powerful uppercut. Sending her flying and flipping through the air until she was nothing but a dot in the sky.
"Wow, the green guy was tougher than that." Saitama said, defeated.
Just then he heard a roar as the green beast ran towards him. With a sigh Saitama held out his hand, colliding with the green giants chest and sending him unconscious into the next city over. Overwhelming power, it was really, really boring.
