Saitama looked at the wizard man, his team of avengers has since gathered back together. Albeit worse for wear with a few bruised egos.
"This man is obviously a threat to our world Avengers! Let's take him down!" Robot man yelled, four curved drones beside him, all charging some kind of glowing energy.
The archer had switched to explosive arrows, while the redhead decided to stick with taser darts. The thunder Viking spun his hammer, generating storms in the sky. Each and every one of these Avengers got into a fighting stance, either preparing or powering up their next attack.
The thunder Viking leapt high into the air, aiming his hammer at Saitamas head and letting himself free fall. The rest of the Avengers were all charging at him, and that's when it clicked for Saitama.
"Oh wait, you guys think I'm a threat?" Saitama asked
All of the Avengers froze, cancelling out their attacks. The thunder Vikings hammer fell down, landing by Saitama feet.
He reached down and lifted up the hammer, handing it to the once again shocked lightning viking.
"You dropped this again, you really should be more careful," Saitama advised half heartedly.
"Wait," Robot man started, "Your not a threat? Then why do you have so much cosmic radiation around you."
Saitama shrugged, "I remember punching some weird guy then the world spun and I was here falling from the sky."
Robot man turned his head to his teammates, "Stand down."
Just then a loud roar was heard in the sky and a ball of energy moving at breakneck speeds could be seen barreling from space down at them.
The robot man looked surprised, no he looked scared, "That move, if it hits it could level half the city! Danvers stand down, you hear me? Stand down!"
Captain Marvel wasn't listening though, she was seeing red. This foolish barbarian thought that he could rival her power?! The nerve to just have punched her away like that. She'll show him, he'll never get back up from this!
Saitama was deep in though, half the city? That'd be an insane amount of casualties, he wouldn't let that happen. He refused, just because it might not be the thing he hoped to be doing most being a hero was an important job. People needed someone who could protect them from threats they could never possibly handle. Even if they don't appreciate it.
With a quick dash around the area, Saitama realized that this entire block was empty minus the Avengers.
"Hurry, Get back!" Saitama yelled, getting into a fighting stance.
The Avengers quickly complied, backing away to a distance where they wouldn't be instantly obliterated by the rapidly approaching Captain Msrvel but could still watch.
Saitama readied his fist, he didn't want to obliterate her entirely so he couldn't use the serious punch. He just needed to punch with enough force to counteract her velocity, and hopefully reverse it.
She was only a couple hundred feet from landing when Saitama released his fist, punching the air with incredible force. The blow made a sonic boom, pushing the Avengers slightly backwards. The wind force from the punch flung Captain Marvel away, parting the clouds above them and shattering all the glass in the area.
Saitama waited, and he waited, and he waited. Nothing, once again, all it took was one punch. Saitama was so frustrated he wanted to hit something, but hitting things was the exact thing that was causing his frustration!
He decided he had nothing better to do when the robot man asked him to come back to their tower, maybe it'd be cool there. Maybe they'd have a way to send him home.
Saitama was properly introduced to the Avengers, and on the ride back, Viking man– Thor was telling him about his hammer, and the mystical enchantment put on it. After that Saitama mostly spaced out, half heartedly answering their questions and staring into space.
He was offered a room in the tower until they could get him home, which Saitama accepted. The tower was nice, it was big and had a lot of space. It just didn't feel like a home, there was too much… emptiness.
Saitama was laying on his new luxury silk sheeted bed when suddenly he was transported into what looked to be a throne room. Infront of him were five hulking figures. The one in the middle stood up, being at least four feet taller than Saitama.
When the man spoke, it tumbled the very foundation of the mysterious location Saitama had been transported to.
"BOW BEFORE ZEUS!!!"
