The camera lens is slowly and carefully removed.
Reisen Inaba: Is it recording already? ... Yes
The purple rabbit stands in front of the camera, seeming to be inside a lit area of the Eientei. She gave a polite wave as she introduced herself.
Reisen Inaba: Hello everyone, my name is Reisen Udongein Inaba, you may know me as Eirin Yagakoro's assistant.
This series of tapes will be guides with different knowledge about health to assist you in avoiding illness and dangers.
The sound of a jar falling to the ground and breaking is heard in the background as the camera topples over for a moment.
Reisen Inaba: Tewi!
The camera moves a little and there is some childish laughter. The video then cuts off, but after a few moments the image returns.
The woman in a suit with rabbit ears clears her throat.
Reisen Inaba: As I was saying, in this episode you will learn how to identify edible mushrooms from poisonous mushrooms. This is in order to avoid poisoning and hallucinations, which are one of the most frequent reasons for visits to Eientei.
Tewi: And after she asked me on her hands and knees, I decided to help her~
Tewi gave a mischievous smirk with that last remark, as well as a bow. Reisen threw a paper ball right next to Tewi's head, barely missing as Tewi ducked. Reisen looked exasperated as Tewi stuck out her tongue.
Reisen Inaba: Silence Tewi.

Reisen gave her a light tap on the back of the head.

Now then, to know if a mushroom is edible, the first thing to do is to recognize the species, you can buy a book and go out to where you are going to harvest it to identify it.
Some mushrooms are only edible when young or only if they are very well cooked.
Tewi: Can I have one now?
You said if I didn't touch anything you'd give me free mushrooms.
Reisen Inaba: ...But you literally-
Reisen stopped as she watched Tewi's endless begging expression and poked out nose. She looked like a normal rabbit when it really wanted something. Reisen sighed and put a hand on her face.
She took a jar of mushrooms she had brought earlier, opened it and gave one to Tewi.
Reisen Inaba: Fiiiine, Just don't touch anything else.
Especially the camera, it's super expensive…
Tewi: Yeah, yeah, let me get a taste of these mushrooms!
She took one of the mushrooms and ate it like it's nothing.
Tewi: It tastes so... Amazing!
It's like it's my favorite food!
Tewi took another one from the jar and ate it with joy...
The camera re-adjusted itself as Reisen came back into view.
Reisen Inaba: Next, we will go outside with a book to identify edible mushrooms from poisonous mushrooms.
As Reisen walked, Tewi could be seen in the background eating more from that jar.
Reisen Inaba: You should come with me, you seem to be beginning to like mushrooms a lot and I'm not going to bring them to you every day. It's good for you to learn a little bit, what do you say?
Tewi: If it means more mushrooms like these, count me in!

Tewi had already finished with the jar of mushrooms Reisen gave her and held the jar tightly in her short arms. She ran along with her taller, wrinkly-eared friend.

Reisen Inaba: Look at this, this red mushroom is an Amanita muscaria, the red colour and white dots are a clear sign that it should NOT be eaten, it is poisonous.
In case of poisoning it is recommended to immediately use activated charcoal and come to the Eientei to get an antidote, after that, do not drink any alcohol for 4 days.
The camera turned as Reisen found another one a bit more... Hidden
Reisen Inaba: This is another strange mushroom! Which is... It's... I don't recognize it…
Tewi, come here. Do you have any idea...?
She walked over to where her friend was. Tewi's expression quickly perked up as she looked at the mushroom.
Tewi: Ah! Those are the ones from the jar!
The mushrooms were in a darker part of the forest, where the sunlight could barely reach them.
Reisen Inaba: I didn't pick those mushrooms, I just found them in the kitchen. It must be something Princess Kaguya found…
If you say they're good then take some with you, you like them a lot, right?
Tewi nodded her head happily as she took them and felt a quick chill through her entire body. She ignored it for the moment, as a wind was just passing by and there didn't seem to be anything to worry about.
Tewi: Maybe another day we'll have mushroom pizza!

Smiling slightly uncomfortably at her friend's attitude, Reisen looked at the camera to say a few last words before ending the recording.
