Episode 9
The tape started playing and showed an up close face of a young woman with a hat so long that it didn't fit in the image.
Her clothes were a mixture of blue and white colours and her face showed curiosity over the recording object.
Mononobe no Futo: Crown Prince! Crown Prince! I hath found a unique item you may find of interest!
Toyasatomimi no Miko: Oh? And where did you find it?
The girl with the large hat moved the camera, pointing now to a young blonde woman with some sort of headphones and a cloak on her.
The Blonde woman wasn't as curious as her friend, that or she was very good at hiding it.
Mononobe no Futo: I... was roaming the Youkai Mountain terroritory on my training exercise when I happened upon a Kappa Youkai with a strange device. Logically, I banished the youkai and have brought the device to you, Mine Prince!
The crown prince looked awkward for a moment, unsure of exactly what to say. It's not like she's been asking Futo to keep beating up random Youkai after all, so long as they are peaceful.
Toyasatomimi no Miko: I see... Please do try not to banish just every Youkai you see, not all of them are so dangerous as to spend valuable time... But as for this device... Ah, I see it now, a Videyo Khamra!
Crown Prince Miko immediately began talking about the device as if she knew it very well. She did not in fact know what the object was.
Mononobe no Futo: Ah, You know what this is Mine Prince? You are as knowledgable as ever!
The Prince looked very confident in her words, as if she was speaking words of ancient wisdom and knowledge.
The woman holding the camera was impressed and astonished at her loyalty's knowledge.
Toyasatomimi no Miko: Yes... You see, this Khamra was invented by a Buddist Priest as a method to Divinate the future! It is quite the rare device, so do be careful with it.
Mononobe no Futo: Amazing! I hath asked the Youkai how to use it, and they said to press thy button on the top. Doth that mean this device hath already made a prediction?
Although... If this ist Buddist technology, shouldn't we burn it?
Miko seemed to stutter at this, she forgot that she was supposed to be highly against buddhists. She did have a rivalry with Byakuren to uphold after all.
Toyasatomimi no Miko: Ah, while it was invented by Buddists by name, it was actually created by a taoist such as us. The device shall bring no harm.
Mononobe was in awe while listening to the Prince's explanation.
But as her Taoist friend made more and more questions, a strange blue bordered hole appeared on one of the very solid walls of the temple they were in.
The camera focused on said hole, and an audible grunt coming from the crown prince.
A woman dressed in blue attire that combined with her blueish hair came out of the hole in the wall, she was putting some sort of stick that she had in her hands, back to her hair.
Another notable feature of this woman was that she wasn't touching the ground at all, but floating in a position that spoke for itself.
Without much introduction she spoke to the Prince and began meddling in the conversation.
Seiga Kaku: Are you sure about that information Princess?
Seiga said this while emphasizing that last word.
The "Prince" frowned. Although she had always been female, the title of Prince reminded her of her old life. Seiga of course didn't care and constantly teased her disciple about it.
Regardless of that, Miko leaned forward and responded.
Toyasatomimi no Miko: Why yes Seiga, I'm most certain. How else could this device record events of the future so clearly as though they just happened?
The lips of the girl in blue formed a slight smile on her face as she began her own explanation.
Seiga Kaku: I'm glad you asked.
The device you are holding records Present events that you can later watch again in a VHS Player.
a VHS Player that the Kappas also sell with the Camera I suppose you bought, right?~
The wicked hermit tilted her head to the side while still in the air, looking "Innocently" at Mononobe.
A bead of sweat rolled down Mononobe's head.
The "Prince" meanwhile looked inquisitively at the device.
Toyasatomimi no Miko: Ah, so i was wrong. This device is still quite interesting however...
The Crown "Prince" looked over in Seiga's direction.
Toyasatomimi no Miko: Say, you said the Kappa sell these V.H.S Players to watch the recordings? Futo, I wish for you to go and peacefully aquire one.
Mononobe no Futo: O-On it Mine Prince!
Seiga Kaku: That won't be too necessary.
Seiga's smile grew wider and smug.
Seiga Kaku: I own both a Camera and a VHS Player, and I doubt the Kappas would like to see your hat in a while.

Miko sighed and crossed her arms. With a slightly awkward expression.
Toyasatomimi no Miko: Alright Seiga, what is it you want in return?
Seiga Kaku: Admit that you were wrong Princess~
Her smug face was more clearer than the day.
She was sure enjoying herself with this.
The Crown Princelooked over at Futo uncomfortably, who was oblivious as ever. She clearly missed what the blue hermit had said before. Miko coughed and spoke up.
Toyasatomimi no Miko: I, The Prince Toyasatomimi no Miko was completely wrong about these Kamilas, er Cameras. Sorry for misleading you Mononobe no Futo.
Before Futo could reply Seiga already added to Miko's misfortune.
Seiga Kaku: Mmmmh?

The Crown Princelooked at Seiga frustrated and she only smiled more.
Miko knew without a word what the "Error" was.
The blonde with frustration and embarrassment muttered out.
Toyasatomimi no Miko: A-ahem.
I, The Princess Toyasatomimi no Miko was completely wrong about these Cameras. Sorry for misleading you Mononobe no Futo.
Seiga was snorting under her hand, Miko was as red as it could be out of both anger and embarrassment of actually having to call herself a princess of all things.
At that moment, Futo spoke to save Miko from this situation.
Mononobe no Futo: Crown Prince, it matters not the content of your speach, but the intention behind it. We all make mistakes, I more than many.
Miko was once again feeling a bit like she was before, and gained the composure needed to talk again.
Toyasatomimi no Miko: Yes, that is true, but I still talked on as if I knew something I didn't. That was a boldface lie in a sense, even if I thought I understood.
I still have much to learn! I am but a budding hermit!
Mononobe no Futo: Crown Prince, you need not lower yourself so much... if anyone is a budding hermit it is I who has much to learn from you...
Futo bowed deeply in response. Miko didn't seem to know how to respond, but Seiga seemed bored with this outcome.
Seiga Kaku: Buuuh!
You two are no fun~
The Wicked Hermit fake pouted at them before returning to her smug self again.
Seiga Kaku: Anyways, a promise is a promise.

Seiga giggled at the idea and took the stick out of her hair. She opened a hole in the floor, letting her pass through it, the camera unable to record what was below before the hole closed itself.
Miko let out a sigh and sunk into her chair, hand on her forehead. Mononobe quietly spoke up.
Mononobe no Futo: Crown Prince, what is wrong?
Toyasatomimi no Miko: Hmm?
Miko mumbled a bit before starting to speak.
Toyasatomimi no Miko: Seiga is rather chaotic... Her desires are a mess and even I can't decipher them that well.
The blue-hatted Mononobe laughed akwardly.
Mononobe no Futo: I can never seem to understand her myself Mine Prince. She was your teacher in the taoist arts though, wasn't she?
Toyasatomimi no Miko: Yes, and she used to be very different. I just... I wonder what happened that changed her from back then... Or if she was lying about her true self from the start?
Miko sighed and Futo gave a smile.
Mononobe no Futo: Crown Prince, not everyone's desires are so easy to read. Be easier on yourself for not understanding. Besides, we have Youkai to banish! And ones weilding the Buddist flag no less!
Toyasatomimi no Miko: Futo, you didn't light that Youkai' temple's yard on fire again, did you?
Mononobe no Futo: Ehehe...
Miko put her head in her hands. She'd recieve another complaint from Byakuren later...
The girl with the big hat who held the camera all this time, decided that this was enough recording of a day, still not getting entirely how this device worked, she pressed several buttons before finding the one that stopped the recording
The image froze for a second, displaying a severe amount of letters in a language that wasn't either old Japanese, nor any other lenguage known to man
