Chapter 13: Waterworks
After a few days have passed with the duo collecting the Rift Specter part. Amy is talking with her mom via video call. "Hey mom, how're things going in Okina City?" Amy asked as she waves to her as the older pink hedgehog is waving back working on schedules.
"I am aiding in the preparations for the festival the Solstice of Light. I hope you got your kimono ready, it's about to begin within a week," Luna said.
"Oh cool, I can help with the preparations," Amy said.
"That would be great honey," Luna said as she is concerned about something. "Hey, did you hear about Breezie lately?" Luna asked as Amy's mood got sour after hearing her name.
"Nope and I don't want to see her stupid face," Amy said.
"Look at the screen now," Luna said as Amy turns on the holo screen to see the news of her fishing fleet in the Northern Sea exploiting the waters.
"Unbelievable, always looking to cash on anyone's suffering," Amy said.
"That woman only cares about money and anyone who gets in her way gets pushed aside," Luna said as she remembers in the past that business lady wanted to turn her family business into a parking lot which she refused.
"She is just a bully with a ton of money behind her. Without it, she is sad and pathetic. Honey has to deal with her nonsense and her dumb fake pop star Ren-Ren," Amy said.
"Very much a student of her old master Eggman. Just as ruthless too," Luna said.
"Yes she got some nerve trying to buy up our shop but the good people of Okina City had our back and the city government revokes her business permits in the city for this," Amy said.
"Good always defeats Evil when enough people stay up for what is right. Well, be careful when you encounter her," Luna said.
"Okay, I will. I will tell Sonic about the festival," Amy said.
"Okay love you, honey," Luna said.
"Love you, mom," Amy said to cut off the video call to share at the screen with bitterness in her heart as she sees Sonic coming into their room.
"Hey there babe," he said as he goes to kiss his lovely girlfriend.
"Hey baby, I was talking with my mama. The Solstice of Light is coming soon," Amy said as Sonic looks excited about this.
"Oh yeah, that is going to be fun. Can't wait to see you in a Kimono babe," he said as he strokes her shoulders making her warm inside.
"Trust me, it will be worth it," Amy said.
"Hey babe, it's getting pretty hot lately. I think we can go to that water park that opened up in Station Square," Sonic said.
"Oh yes, it's called Aqua Springs. That's a good idea, we need a break from all this madness happening lately," Amy said. Both of them got their things ready as they are in the living room for they got ready within an hour. "Alright, I got my things," Amy said to have a bag where her swimwear and other things are kept safe.
"Alright, let's go. I have the tickets," Sonic said as they go out the door to go down the street to head for the subway.
He is tenderly holding her tiny hand. "Oh boy, I can go on another lovely date with my faithful yet cute boyfriend. Let's enjoy ourselves, sweetie," Amy said for them to be on the train to go towards another section of the city. Soon enough they reach the location to see it is filled with people enjoying the warm sun. "Where is this water park?" Amy asked.
"Well, it's in the eastern part of the town. It's pretty big, we can't miss it," Sonic said as they are holding hands for them to walk with the weather being pretty warm.
"Hey Sonic, what is this water park-like and what does it have?" she asked.
"Oh, there are rides, attractions, and places to eat," Sonic said to be nearby the water park as Amy feels excited about this.
"Sounds exciting. Oh wow, this place is huge," Amy said seeing different rides and places to see for they go up to the ticket booth.
Sonic gives the man their tickets letting them inside. They enter the park with people in their swimwear having a blast.
"Well, we should get into our swimwear," Amy said.
"Yeah, we'll meet in the main plaza," Sonic said as they go into the locker room to change into their swimwear.
Sonic comes out first as he sits on a bench to look in awe at some of the rides. "Man, I'm so going on that big ass slide when I get the chance," he said as he feels a tap on his shoulder.
"Sonic, how do you like my bikini?" a silky voice appears behind him as he turns around to be awestruck.
"Damn," Sonic is the only word that came out of his word to see Amy in a white bikini with blue star patterns on them. Her swimwear fitted her voluptuous figure along with her pink hair tied up in a side ponytail.
"I see you are impressed," Amy said liking the attention he is giving her.
"Screw impressed, you look beautiful," Sonic said as she glows in her face for he sees the deep cleavage in her bikini top.
"I'm glad you like it so much, I wanted to look good for you. You look pretty good too," Amy said as he is wearing green swim trunks to show off his slim physique which she adores so much.
"Well, Amy where do you want to go?" Sonic said as she looks at a ride called Rapid Waters.
"That looks fun, let's go," Amy said as they walk over to the ride with him looking at her large round breasts bouncing in her bikini top. "Liking the view, baby?" she asked catching him looking at her chest.
"It's quite the lovely sight," Sonic said as she gives him a sweet smile as they see the line for the ride.
"It's quite long," Amy said as they get into the line with people including a couple having fun.
"These Rapid Waters has us going across a river in a raft with it getting quite bumpy," Sonic said.
"Seems rough but fun," Amy said as the line is thinning out until they reached the end of the line. They see the circular raft with seats having harnesses to keep people in place. The couple into the raft to seat next to each other, they are secure in their seats with everyone else filling up the seats.
The ride starts up with them jerking around the river with the water rapidly pushing them through with water splashing on everyone.
Within a few minutes, they get off the ride to feel very dizzy. "Wow that was a big rush," Sonic said.
"You can say that again," Amy said as they see slides nearby. "Let's go on these," she said as they got onto the top of some stairs to go up to the slide where there is a rubber tube where each person will ride down the slide.
"Well Amy, see you down on the bottom," Sonic grabs up and goes down the dark tube to twist and turn around the brightly colored tube to suddenly land into a pool of water chilling him to the bone. "Oh man it's cold," he thought.
Amy takes her turn as the water splashes around her and her hair flies back with the rush of air touching her face. Amy falls onto the pool floating on her tube seeing Sonic nearby.
"How was it?" he asked.
"Pretty good, you?" she asked.
"Awesome," he said as they get out of the tubes to swim to the edge to get out. Sonic helps Amy up onto the steps. "Let's go on another ride," she said.
"Yeah," Sonic said as they see another water slide but it's one big drop unless the first one which has turns and twists in it.
They go into a line to go up the stairs with Amy looking down to feel a bit uneasy. "Wow, we are pretty high up," Amy said.
"Don't worry if you fall I'll catch you," he said as she clings to his arm.
"Okay," Amy said as they reach the top to get a tube meant for two with Sonic getting in front and Amy getting in the back. Amy wraps her arms around Sonic's stomach taking in his scent making her feel secure.
"Ready Amy?" he asked as she softly nods her head. "Here we go," he said as they downward with everything passing by in a blur. Both have a crazy wave of excitement swell within as they crash into the pool.
"That was crazy," Amy said popping her head out of the water.
"I know right, let's do something else," Sonic said as they walk through the park with Amy getting looks from some men.
They pass by checking her out. "Man, you see her ass, they look so round and juicy," he muttered.
"Screw that did you see the size of those tits? They're freaking huge," the second guy said as Sonic noticed.
"Assholes," Sonic said as Amy pressed her chest into his arm showing her open affection.
"Don't worry about them, I'm yours," she said.
"I know, I just hate it when some guys see you as just a pair of tits," Sonic said feeling protective of her as she feels touched by this.
"I understand dear, always looking out for me. Come on, let's go on more rides," Amy said as they go on the next ride called Dinosaur Safari.
"This is interesting," Sonic said as they quickly get onto the line seeing the raft up ahead.
"There is robots of dinosaurs to give it a good feel for the ride," Amy said as they go into the raft to go through the river. Something is popping out of the water to be a long-neck creature with a small head to greet the riders with a soft roar from its voice box.
"Wish I can pet the thing," Sonic said.
"I can get you a dog to pet," Amy said playfully.
"But it's not the same," Sonic said like a boy who wants a new pet with Amy thinking it's adorable. Several plant-eating dinosaurs are in the background chewing on fake leaves. The ride seems relaxing so far with the raft going at a calm steady pace.
"This seems nice," Amy said.
"Nothing is happening," Sonic said as suddenly the raft is picking up the pace with more dinosaurs coming out looking deadlier. "This is what I am talking about," he said.
"These dinosaurs are getting quite scary," Amy said as they go into a building with lights glowing red in the darkness with them going upward heading towards the top. Then shrieking sounds pop up with a small dinosaur shooting liquid in Amy's face making her jump and hold Sonic's arm. "It came out of nowhere," Amy feeling scared.
"Looks like we are about to drop," Sonic said.
They are about to reach the top as a loud booming sound overwhelms their senses with a big T-Rex coming out of the shadows above them with Amy almost jumping out of her seat to cling to Sonic.
"Oh my gosh," Amy said before she can catch her breath they fall down a steep slope to land in the pool below.
"Wow that was cool," Sonic said.
"That was scary, I thought I had a heart attack," Amy said holding her chest as they get off the ride. "That drop almost made me feel my butt was floating off the seat," Amy said.
"That's a lot of butt to lift off," Sonic joked.
"Oh, be quiet," Amy pouted as Sonic laughs at this.
"You know I'm kidding right," he said as she laughed as well.
"I know, I was being silly," she said as they see a large pool with people in tubes. "Look like a relaxation pool, let's get some tubes," Amy said. The couple grabs some tubes to go into the pool as they just float around. "I like this, just floating around and relaxing," Amy said closing her eyes with her long side ponytail floating on the water as well.
"Yeah," Sonic is lying on his tube just staring into the clouds with them passing by.
"Hey Sonic, how are you enjoying this so far?" she asked.
"Great, I'm having fun here with you," he said making her smile.
"That's wonderful, me too," Amy said as she can hear her belly growling with her having a big blush on her face. "I'm pretty hungry," Amy said.
"Yeah, me too," he said.
"Well, let's look around to get something to eat," she said as they get out of the pool to hold hands to walk through the park with Amy and Sonic finding a café to go inside and get a table. They both go get their orders and their food.
"Got me some slices of pepperoni pizza," Sonic got about three big slices on his plate with a citrus punch in a cup.
"I got a crispy chicken sandwich with some waffle fries," Amy said as her meal came with some honey mustard sauce along with some blueberry tea.
"Man, this is tasty," Sonic said eating his slice and tasting the delicious cheese. "How about you?" he asked as Amy pours the sauce on her sandwich and took a bite out of here with her having a big smile on her face.
"Chicken tastes so good with honey mustard," she said happily with her taste buds doing backflips. "This honey mustard is like the sauce of the divine," she said eating her sandwich with a big smile on her face.
"Man, the others are missing out on this," Sonic said.
"Well at least we are out together," Amy said.
"Yeah, you're right," he said as Amy eats her fries.
"Oh, I'm going to get some snacks. You want anything?" she asked.
"Some barbeque chips, please," he said.
"I'll be right back," Amy said as she went to a snack bar where she goes in line to get some snacks from a guy is checking her out.
"Hey there baby, looking pretty good in that," the creepy human man was staring at her back as Amy feels uncomfortable.
"Thanks, I think," she said as she feels the guy running his finger on her butt cheek to recoil backward.
"What a nice curvy ass you got there, fills out that bikini bottom so well," the human man said with a perverted smile as Amy backs away.
"Don't come any closer," Amy warned him as she is ready to strike back.
"Come on baby, let me see more," the man rushes at her as Amy strikes the man in the nuts with a strong kick to knock the lights out of him.
The man kneels overdue to lots of blunt trauma as Amy goes up to the vendor. "I want these please," Amy pays for their food and gives the man a look of disgust lying on the floor in pain. "That's what you get for trying to touch a woman's butt," she said moving away as far as possible. "Here you go," Amy said to sit back down with Sonic.
"Amy, you okay?" he asked witnessing the scene.
"Yes, I'm fine except for being creeped out," she said.
"He got that coming, he would think twice next time," Sonic said as he got his chips and Amy has a sweet roll to calm her nerves.
"Oh, I love my sweet roll," Amy said as she takes a bite out of it. "So good," she said.
"Hey Amy, any rides you want to go on?" he asked as he finishes his pizza slices.
"There are a few more rides left we can go on before we start going home," Amy said as she finishes up her meal for them to head off with her still eating her sweet roll.
"Can I have a piece of that?" he asked.
"Sure," she said breaking a piece to give it to him. He takes it and eats to like the sweet taste.
"This is pretty good," he said.
"Yes, it is," she said as she finishes the snack for them to go on another ride. They go up to the next one where they are at the top where there is a big, encased slide with water running down it.
"Meet you at the bottom Amy," Sonic said as he takes the tube to slide down with him twisting around the wet slide to make it down and splash into the pool bottom.
He sees Amy coming down the big tube and lands next to him letting out a big splash. "That was fun," she said.
"Yeah it was," he said as they go on a few more rides with them on top of a platform with multiple slides next to each other. "Race you down there," he said.
"Okay, meet you down there," Amy said as they go at the same sliding down the wet slide. Amy reaches down to the pool several seconds before Sonic. "I win," she said.
"Well, I lose," he said as Amy kisses him on the lips.
"That is your consolation prize," she said.
"That's a pretty good secondary prize," he said as Amy lets out a soft laugh.
"Indeed," she said as they go to another relaxation pool with Amy and Sonic trying to race again. Suddenly Amy stops with a blush appearing on her face.
"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked.
"My bikini top came off," Amy said as she is holding her arms across her chest shielding them from view.
"Okay, lifeguard," he said as a female lifeguard is beside the pool.
"What do you need?" she asked.
"My girlfriend lost her bikini top. Can you fetch it for us please?" he asked.
"Oh okay, that happened to me before. It's very embarrassing, I will be back," the lifeguard goes off.
"This is so awkward," Amy said hiding her chest in the water.
"Shouldn't be a problem if you stand still," Sonic said as a person's tube knocks Amy into Sonic for she presses her chest onto his own.
"Oh, sorry Sonic," she said as she is taking in his scent feeling safe in his presence.
"It's a pleasant surprise," he said bluntly.
"I bet it is for you," she said as he hugs her to help her cover her up.
"Guilty," he said as she returns the hug. "By the way, your breasts are amazing," he said bluntly for Amy giggled at this straightforwardness.
"I know, you made that pretty clear last night," Amy said in a low tone of voice with a big glow on his face thinking about all the fooling around they were doing in their room.
"In the presence of a beautiful woman, my hands can't help but feel every shape of this great form you have," he said as his smooth-talking is making Amy's face glow red and show him a sweet smile.
"You are too much sometimes," she said.
"I try," he said as the lifeguard comes by to show them the bikini top.
"Is this yours?" the lifeguard asked.
"Oh, thank you," Amy said as she puts it back on and adjust it to fit better.
"Okay, have fun you two," the female lifeguard said to go about her business.
"Well, that was frightening," Amy said for them to get out of the pool with her drying herself with a towel.
"At least no one saw you," Sonic said.
"Yes, thankfully nothing happened," Amy said as they get out of the pool for them to head for an arcade. "Oh, look at that," she said as they look at the arcade building with a sign called Galaxy's Games blazing with neon lights.
"Oh, that would be fun," he said as they head inside for its packed with families and couples Mobian, Demi-Humans and Humans alike having fun inside.
"Look at all these arcade cabinets," Amy said as Sonic taps his foot on the floor.
"Hope you are ready to lose Amy, my game itch needs to be rubbed," Sonic said.
"Of course, come on. Let's go," Amy said as they begin playing all sorts of games with the duo playing a fighting game with Amy getting an edge.
There were tied 3-3 with the last match being the tiebreaker. The match is intense with combos and dodges making the fight quite fast-paced but in the end, Amy manages to win.
"That was tough, you are pretty good at it," he said.
"You are not bad yourself. Getting your gamer vibes back?" she asked.
"Yep, my reflexes are fine-tuned by years of practice," Sonic said.
"Oh, how about that racing game over there," Amy said as they go over to more games. "How about this game," Amy said as he points to another game for they get in a few games trying to get a high score. Sonic is on the controls for Amy taps him with her hips getting his attention to beam him a pretty smile.
"Hey Amy, I need to focus," Sonic said as Amy is teasing him with her body.
"Sure, keep your eyes on the ball," Amy said as he finishes the game. "So how about this one," Amy said as she points to another one for them to be playing Fighting Streets 2.
"Gee how many versions Caps is going to release on this game," Sonic joked as Amy laughs at this.
"I know right, it's getting silly at this point," Amy said as they both picked their characters and begin to fight. Sonic is on the controls for Amy taps him with her hips getting his attention and showing him a pretty smile.
"Hey Amy, you are cheating," Sonic said.
"Using my assets isn't cheating, it's my edge," she said her overly ample cleavage shaking from her movement as Sonic stared at them.
"Damn girl, they are huge," he thought to see her deep cleavage showing on her bikini top.
"Okay, I win the match," Amy said as this snapped Sonic out of his trance.
"Those assets are powerful indeed," he said as Amy cross her arms under her bust to make them look even bigger to distract him once again.
"I am quite gifted in more ways than one," she said with a smirk on her face for she hears her stomach growling with her face turning bright red from embarrassment. "I am quite hungry," she said as they go over to the food court to grab snacks.
"Oh boy, this day is something else," Amy said as they both got some mozzarella sticks, chili fries, and two milkshakes with Amy having strawberries while Sonic has chocolate.
"Yep, this is pretty fun. With your swimming lessons in the past, I can't worry about drowning out there," Sonic said.
"Like in the kiddy pool?" Amy teases as Sonic looks embarrassed by a memory of him failing to swim in the kiddie pool in the past with Amy trying to teach him how to swim.
"Hey, I was a novice back then but I am better now," Sonic said.
"Yes you are," she said
"Yeah," she said cheerfully for them to continue playing in the arcade. "Come on Sonic, let's get going to the locker room," she said as they are ready to go back home.
They quickly wash up and dry putting back on your outfits and putting their swimwear in their bags. They exit the park with Amy holding her arm around Sonic's arm.
"That was fun," she said.
"Yeah it was, come on. Let's go," he said as she nods her head for them to go down the street back home to share another memory.
