Here we have our final Sparx level from Spyro 3 appearing on the countdown, Starfish Reef. On a big positive note to say about such for Starfish Reef and easily of how I rank it the best of the four Sparx levels in of Spyro 3, is thanks to how fairly challenging and non-linear in terms of gameplay gets in of the level which is always good for any Spyro level to have but, on that sad note, pretty much every single bonus level out there of the PS1 Spyro games cannot once again, hold a candle compared to the more beautiful and more unique main levels out there. Still, Starfish Reef is go for what it is but, much like what every bonus level suffers from, they can be most of the time to the gamer forgettable.

On that first note, Starfish Reef is fairly challenging and unique for what it is thanks to unlike in the rest of the three Sparx levels already ranked on the countdown, complex and unique. The main enemies you come across in of Starfish Reef are well...starfish. The starfish for almost all times attack in a group of one another on Sparx and move in all directions of the level trying to take you and Sparx down and for the most part, act smart and wise on the player unlike where in the other remaining three Sparx levels, the enemies are brain dead dimwits that love to charge after you but, go down with just one attack. This is also added up with other variety if of enemies to kill in of the level such as the salamanders which also add smart, wise and unique to the level in general and to the gamer.

While, Starfish Reef is a good level for what is, there is one notable thing in terms of gameplay that the Sparx levels all suffer from unlike the full 3D main levels of the three Spyro games and that is how simple they are. Aside from the enemies you face off with in of Starfish Reef, there isn't much in terms of level design that sticks out notable to care for in of Starfish Reef and that goes for every Sparx level from Spyro 3. This is a big problem in such because the series is known for unique style in of the levels and sadly that's not seen for Starfish Reef.

Overall, Starfish Reef is an "okay" level overall for what it is compared to the much worse Sparx levels in of Spyro 3 but, as in of the series in general of all of the full Spyro PS1 levels go, it's easily nothing more then very "meh" and forgettable. With that, not much else to say other then now with the Sparx levels finally done and over with of the countdown, we move on to the bigger and notable levels that fans care about to see me rank in part of the countdown.
