Chapter 14: Under the Sea Pt 1: Coral Dance
Breezie is on her private island which has strong defenses all over the island. She looks at her fleet of ships that are doing fish operations nearby the borders of Meropis City. She is getting reports on their militia targeting her fishing fleet. "Nothing but a bunch of savage fish folks cutting into my business," Breeze said as she calls in her PMC members to her chambers. "Come to me, I have a mission for you," Breezie said.
Four members of Team Hooligan and controlling Breezie's private robot army consisting of Fiona Fox who is the leader while Fang the Sniper, Bark the Polar Bear, and Bean the Dynamite are the members. "You need us for something boss?" Fiona asked.
"Yes, I am having a problem with the royals of Meropis City. They are cutting into my fishing business and I need to send a message. I need you to go into the city and kill the king and queen which will leave their government in confusion and allow me to fish in peace," Breezie said.
"Of course, madam. We will do our job well," Fiona said as she shows off her robotic arms with special energy suckers in her palms.
"My guns are going to be very happy," Fang said playing around with his laser pistols to twist them in his fingers to slip them into the hoisters.
"I can't wait to blow up some of those fools with my bomb gloves," Bean said as the polar bear cracked his knuckles to be ready to support his teammates.
"That's the spirit boys, let's get in our sub and plan our attack on the palace," Fiona said as they go into the hanger to get into a large sub filled with machines to act as support to go for their mission to kill the royals of Meropis City.
Fiona noticed three familiar Badniks saluting her. "So, you guys are coming with us?" she asked to see Scratch, Grounder, and Coconuts greeting them.
"Of course, madam. we will be giving aid on the main ship as a base of operations," Scratch said.
"Yeah, we will be monitoring the status of the mission," Coconuts said.
"Yeah, hopefully, someone doesn't screw up," Grounder said as he looks at Scratch which pisses him off.
"Why are you looking at me for? You are the one who is going to put this operation at risk," Scratch said to poke at his metal chest.
"Gee always so negative," Grounder said as Coconuts shakes his head with disappointment.
"What a bunch of morons," Coconuts said as Fiona is not happy with this but her boss knows what she is doing.
"Well don't screw up and provide aid from the main ship," Fiona said as the three old Badniks saluted her.
"Yes madam," the three Badniks said as they enter the sub to meet up with the fishing fleet to plan out their attack on the underwater city.
Morning has come, Amy and Sonic are still in bed together after a night of passionate lovemaking. Amy is naked with all her sexy clothing and underwear littered across the floor. Amy gets up to look lovingly into her boyfriend's face. "You treat me so good baby," she kisses him on the nose for this wakes up Sonic as his face is muzzled in her fuzzy chest.
"Morning angel face," Sonic said as he kisses her on the lips with Amy feeling his hand on her tail gently stroking it making her pretty good.
"Morning, where are your hands going?" she asked as she enjoys him touching her tail which is pretty sensitive.
"Playing with your cute tail," he said as Amy is moaning from him playing with her short tail as it sways back and forth showing she is quite happy.
"Stop it, unless you want round 2," Amy said in a flirty tone as Sonic get out of the sheet to see his beautiful girlfriend naked with only the pink fur on her back.
"Miss Rose, so bold," Sonic teases as she gets up to hug him from behind with Amy resting her head on his shoulder.
"I can do the more bold things you like later," Amy said placing her hands on his chest.
"Hmm, seems like a plan," Sonic said as his phone goes off along with Amy's goes off as well.
"Sonic, Amy. Are you there? I detected a Chaos Emerald in the Northern Oceans," Tails said.
"We will get ready," Sonic said.
"Meet us at the docks in Station Square. We are taking my sub the Mantis Ray. We are heading for the city-state of Meropis along with Knuckles and Shade since Cream is unable to come with us," Tails said as Amy puts away her soaked underwear into a bin as Sonic slapped her bum making her jump.
"Oh Sonic," Amy giggles as Tails is confused.
"What are you two doing now?" Tails asked about regretting his decision.
"Oh, we were cuddling before you called Tails after a night of passionate lovemaking," Amy teases as this made Tails flustered,
Amy grabbed a black sports bra to slip it onto her chest fitting it to her bosom. "Going under the sea huh, seems pretty romance huh?" Amy asked as she takes out a pair of black panties to slip them across her legs.
"Yeah it does, I hope we don't fight anything underwater though," Sonic said as Amy pats her rear to adjust her underwear to her figure. She puts on her adventuring outfit while fixing her hair.
"I will hold your hand when that comes up," Amy teases him as she fixes the skirt of her outfit to grab a backpack filled with extra clothing and other stuff she can use.
"Very funny," Sonic said as Amy kisses him on the lips.
"Come on baby, let's run to the docks," Amy said as they both use their speed to quickly get to dock 5 with Tails and the others nowhere to be found.
"Gee, they are not here yet," Sonic said.
"They are not as fast as us baby, let's wait for a bit," Amy said as she takes in the view of the ocean ahead with her long quills dancing against the cool breeze. "This takes me back to when we first met nearby the lake," Amy said feeling positive about it.
"Yeah it does, what a journey we've been on," Sonic said as Amy lay her head on her shoulder.
"With you by my side, I gain my smile and my confidence. I can face the future head-on like you always do," Amy said.
"Come on Amy, your friends and your family helped as well," Sonic said.
"I know. I am grateful to everyone for it and you keep me going. Being my drive to be a better me," Amy said to show him a bright smile.
"Yes, let's do our best together," Sonic said giving her a thumbs up.
"Right, oh they are coming up here," Amy noticed Tails, Knuckles, and Shade coming their way.
"Good to see you all here, we got a big mission ahead of us," Tails said.
"Going to Meropis, I never heard about that before," Shade said.
"It's an underwater city run entirely by aquatic Mobians with no humans in sight. They are pretty closed off from the outside world and their city is protected in a glass dome while heavily by their city militia," Knuckles said.
"Yes, we have a meeting with the King and Queen of that realm. We need their permission to operate in that area or we will be shot on sight," Tails said.
"They don't seem that friendly," Shade said.
"They didn't make a pact with the United Federation due to their policies against foreigners of any kind. We need to be cautious out there," Knuckles said as they go into the warehouse to see a large sleek-looking submarine called the Mantis Ray.
"You keep impressing Tails," Amy said as Tails feels humbled by this.
"It's pretty neat, it's not as impressive as the Blue Typhoon starship I created nearly 2 years ago to use against the Metarex," Tails said as they begins to set up the launch.
Tails is operating the machines to get them into the water. He activates the ship's systems to make it operational.
"Let's get inside, it will take some time before we get to the dome city of Meropis," Tails said as they get inside the large sub for it was quite spacious inside. "Go pick a room and rest up, it's going to be a long trip," Tails said as he headed for the command center with Knuckles, Shade, Sonic, and Amy going to their rooms to set up.
"Well Tails, outdone himself once again," Amy said as they go through the hallways to see the port views of the water outside. "So blue and pretty," Amy said.
"Just like me," Sonic said as Amy gives him a bright smile.
"Yes just like you," she pokes him in the stomach with them going into their room which is a simple room with a bed, closet, and a lamp.
"Seems pretty simple but it's a sub so what can I expect," Sonic said as he hops onto the bed.
"The bed is big enough for the both of us, got any bright ideas?" Amy teases Sonic by winking at her.
"I had enough workout last time," Sonic said as Amy playfully pouts at this.
"Okay but I doubt you had enough sweetie pie," Amy said sitting beside him. "This is exciting to go to this new city, I wonder what it looks like," Amy said.
"Don't know, this is my first time coming there too. Hopefully, we can get permission to explore the area without any hassles," Sonic said.
"Yeah grab this Chao Emerald before the bad guys grab them," Amy said.
"This time we will be ready for them," Sonic said.
"Yes, we going to get the jump on them now," Amy said as they relax in their room.
Elsewhere Shade and Knuckles are within their room with Knuckles looking at his girlfriend who is sporting a blue tank top and white jean shorts fitting her tight slender body and showing off her curves. "You are looking very lovely," Knuckles comments on her appearance.
The light red echidna blushes at this while playing with one of her dreadlocks sheepishly. "Thanks, honey. I wanted to fit ready and look good as well," Shade looks at the port view to see the deep blue ocean with whales in the distance.
"How are feeling in your new team?" Knuckles asked.
"Oh, it's doing well. The girls are pretty nice to me, I am quite sad we can't be in a team together in Team Sonic," Shade said.
"Yeah, me too but we are working today now. And we can get to see an underwater city together," Knuckles said.
"We are about to get to Meropis City very soon. We are being spotted by the city militia. I should get ready to depart," Amy said as everyone gets to the commander center with several mini subs blocking their path along with several squads of aquatic Mobians swimming in the water to wield tridents.
"This is Tails of the Mantis Ray. We are here to speak with you royalty in enabling us to go about in your region without harm," Tails said on the radio.
"This is Captain Striker, leader of the Meropis Militia. Our Queen and King are expecting you. We will lead you into one of my wet docks," Striker said on the radio.
"Thanks, we are coming in," Tails said as they are being guided into an underwater valley to see a huge city laying on the bottom of the ocean covered by an energy dome. Everyone looks amazed by the sights of the city whose buildings are made of coral towering upwards.
"So beautiful," Amy said sounding dumbfounded by this lovely city made of coral
"Indeed; like out of a fairytale," Shade said as Knuckles feels on guard with the city militia being very cautious.
"Brace ourselves, let's behave out there," Knuckles said to look at Sonic.
"What are you looking at me for?" he asked feeling offended. "I will behave promise," Sonic gave him a thumbs up.
They go into the docks to submerge inside as they exit out of the sub to meet with Striker who is a purple Mantis Shrimp Mobian clad in an armored wetsuit like the rest of his army.
"Good to see you Sonic, I heard a lot of good things about you," Striker said to give him a handshake.
"Nice to meet a fan," Sonic said as a purple dolphin greets them by bowing her head.
"Good morning, I am Striker's second in command. Echo the Dolphin at your services. We will take you to the royals and speak with them," Echo said as the military leaders along with the royal guards lead them into the city.
They got out of the docks to be greeted by the large coral buildings as some of them were near the tips of the energy dome protecting the city from enemy threats. "Your city is something to behold," Amy said.
"Yes, these coral buildings were highly made in this certain style to complement our natural environment as much as possible," Echo said.
"I heard the news from the surface world and it's not good. Eggman is replaced with some weird witch," Striker said.
"Yes Witchcraft despite her beauty is pure evil, she seeks the Chaos Emeralds and tries to plan something with them in the shadows," Sonic said.
They see a huge couch shell in the distance which is the royal palace. "There is the palace, our royals are waiting for you," Striker said as they go up to the steps of the palace. Two fish Mobians were watching from the side preparing to greet the strangers.
"Greetings travelers, it's so nice to have visitors in our fair city. I am the Priestess Coral the Betta at your service," the orange Betta Mobian bows to her guests donning blue coral-inspired robes.
"Welcome, I am Pearly the Manta Ray. I am the apprentice of the priestess. Please to meet you," the little girl said as she is a grey-colored female Manta-Ray sporting an orange dress.
"You are so cute, you remind me of Cream when she was younger," Amy said as she pets her on the head.
"Priestess, we need to take to the royals. You can speak with them later," Striker said as he guides them into the palace with Coral and early waved them.
"We will speak later strangers," Coral said to see the big pearl white doors closing behind the group. "Those people are here for the Chaos Emerald," Coral said.
"That is Sonic the Hedgehog, the big hero on the surface," Pearly said sounding excited.
"Indeed, I am hoping the royal family wouldn't be so standoffish but I feel we will need them very soon," Coral said as she take her student to head for the marketplace.
Sonic and the others are guided into the royal chambers to see beautiful, shaped shells letting the area with King Puff and Queen Angelica sitting on their silver thrones along with their daughter Princess Undina looking very curious about the new guest to their kingdom.
Sonic spots the king as a purple colored Mobian Pufferfish donned in red silk clothing along with a coral crown fitting for his royal status.
He looks over to the queen who is a green-skinned Mobian Anglerfish coming with a glowing lure on her forehead. She is wearing a yellow robe fitting for her royal status.
Sonic sees a friendly young lady who is a purple skinned Mobian fish wearing an orange dress.
"The legendary Sonic the Hedgehog and crew have come to my domain. I heard you wanted to gain permission to seek out a Chaos Emerald in my borders," King Puff said as Striker and Echo are beside their royals standing guard.
"Well yes, there are some bad people who are seeking them out too. We don't want to make any trouble," Tails said.
"Well, we already have trouble. There are reports about a fishing fleet stalking these waters," the king said.
"Must be Breezie," Amy said to the others for the king show them a Chaos emerald.
"You don't need to find it, it's right here," King shows a purple Chaos Emerald in his hand.
"Oh sweet," Sonic said as the king pulls the gem.
"This is now royal property. You can't have it," the King said.
"You got to be kidding me," Tails said.
"We are preparing our naval forces to deal with this threat. This city is currently under lockdown with nonmilitary unable to leave this city including you lot," the queen said as Sonic and the others are not pleased with this.
"We are here to help you out. Not locked up like a bunch of sardines," Sonic said.
"You have not gained our trust and you will be guests here. You can engage with our culture and we will continue to monitor you so we can see if you are worth our time. Then maybe we will hand you the Chaos Emerald," King said as Amy looks angry at this.
"We are trying to help here, I don't think you understand the gravity of the situation here," Amy is about to lose her cool but Shade calms her down.
"We are their guests, we shouldn't be pushing it," Shade said.
"I agree, we don't know the full situation here," Knuckles said.
"We need to keep watch over the situation until then, you will be watched. Also, we have a royal ball within the palace where you can come and enjoy our wonderful bounty. Enjoy yourselves, our honored guests," the Queen said as the crew out of there.
"Well, that was bad," Tails said.
"I know right, we were brushed off and made them their honored guests. What a big fat joke," Amy said.
"I think they need to see us in the open and check if we are trustworthy enough," Shade said.
"Indeed, I am so sorry about my parents. They are very on edge lately," Undina said as the princess greets them and bows her head in respect for them.
"And very rude," Amy said.
"Well. My parents would be more willing to give you more leeway if you can gain their trust," Undina said.
"Well, we better look good for this royal ball," Knuckles said as Amy looks pretty excited about this.
"Oh, I was expecting this. I bring over the qipao I just got recently," Amy said as Sonic remembers that thing.
"Oh boy, that would be exciting to look at," Sonic said as Amy giggled at this.
"I am looking forward to your reaction baby," Amy said to playfully poke his nose.
"Well, where will you sleep?" Undina asked.
"In the Mantis Ray. that will be our base of operations here within the Northern Ocean and Meropis," Tails said.
"Okay, I can't wait to see you all at the royal ball," Undina said as she waves for them to leave for the Mantis Ray preparing for the ball.
The day has come with the royal ball in the palace going in full swing with Fiona, Bark, Fang, and Bean waiting in the shadows. "Looks like this place is lighting up with fancy people here," Fiona said.
"Indeed, hope these bastards don't get in our way," Bean said.
"Yes, I am training my sniper rifle and getting into a good position to take out the King and Queen along with that dumb princess of theirs. Sending this realm into chaos," Fang said.
"Hope we can make this quick and get out of here. This whole city will be on our asses like flies on a pile of dung," Fiona said as Team Hooligan hid until they make their move.
Within that night, everyone is at the royal ball Tails and the others were relaxing inside with Sonic waiting for his girlfriend by the gates.
"Sonic, sorry for the wait. I wanted to look perfect for you," Amy said as Sonic is dumbfounded by her appearance.
Amy is sporting that red silky qipao with yellow stars imprint on the front. The dress hugs her hourglass figure showing it off pretty well with the silts of her skirt showing her long curvy legs. Her pink hair is tied into a big bun on top with three hair sticks popping out of the bun. She has yellow high heels and matching yellow silk gloves.
"What do you think of the full package?" she asked.
"I'm speechless," Sonic said as Amy giggled at this.
"I bet," Amy said as she put her hands on her hips which are very noticeable in her tight-fitting dress. "Come on, let's go inside," Amy said as she takes his arm to go inside. All the guests take notice of Amy's beauty.
"Seems like you are getting noticed," Sonic said as Amy puts her head on his shoulder.
"Well; I do look good and now you got the hottest girl in the room in your arm. Big Blue," Amy said to kiss him on the cheek.
"Come on, let's enjoy some yummy food," Amy said as Sonic looks
"Ho does it taste?" Sonic questioned as Amy is eating some yummy fried fish bites.
"This is pretty good; you should try out the buffet there. Lots of seafood and other things they imported from the surface," Amy said. Sonic and Amy continue to look around to see Knuckles and Shade at a table eating some food and taking in the deep sea atmosphere.
"Yo Shade, nice outfit," Amy said as Shade is a simple black minidress fitting her slender frame and showing off her legs.
"Thanks, treat for Knuckles. He seems to like it," Shade said as Knuckles takes a sip from his wine for him to choke on it.
"Sure, I guess," Knuckles said sounding sheepish as Shade kisses him on the muzzle.
"So cute like that," Shade said.
"See anything suspicious?" Sonic asked as Knuckles nods his head.
"Nope, just rich people being rich I guess," Knuckles said as he wants to dig into his salmon dish.
"Well, we all need to be aware despite the pretty atmosphere," Amy said.
"Yes I am pretty aware of that," Knuckles said as Sonic and Amy sees Tails speaking with Princess Undina.
"Greeting new friends, Tails tells about the outside world. It's very interesting stuff," Undina said as she is donning a pretty blue gown matching her fishy appearance.
"You look so lovey Undina," Amy said as the princess nods her head.
"Thank you I wanted to look nice for my guests. How sad that we have uninvited guests on our borders," Undina said.
"Breezie," Amy said with scorn in her voice.
"That woman is no good and she is exploiting the waters around the city. She has those machines all over the ocean trying to squeeze as much as they can," Undine said.
"She does what she does best, making everyone suffer while she makes money," Sonic said.
"Hopefully we can help out and push her out of the region," Tails said as Fang the Sniper is on the balcony to overlook the area. He killed the guards up there to set up his sniper rifle to trace his scope onto the king.
"You ready to go?" Fiona asked on the radio.
"Yep, I got them in my sights," Fang said as Amy noticed a glint on the balcony to get in front of the Royals. She wields her hammer to block the laser bolt as she unleashes a gust of wind to hit the balcony.
"Damn it," Fang said as Fiona groaned at this.
"Looks like we got to do this the hard way," Fiona said as she presses a button to trigger bombs to create blockages to keep everyone in this huge space. "Kill those royals," she commanded with Fang drawing out her laser pistols to go in to start killing off guards. Bark and Bean come in to kill even more guards to head for the royals.
"Get behind me," Amy summons her magic dress to swing her hammer to unleash a storm of sharp winds to blow away Fang, Bean, and Bark.
"Team Hooligan are here," Sonic said as he spots Fiona in the corner. "You!" Sonic said with anger.
"Hey big blue, you want to have a dance with me?" Fiona teased to sport her black outfit with her yellow bow in her long red hair which matches her red fur.
"Breezie put you up to this," Sonic uses a Spin Dash with Fiona tosses a sticky bomb which unleashes a brown goo which made Sonic stop in his tracks.
"Of course, she is our boss and I am one running her paramilitary operations. You are in the way," Fiona said as she kicks Sonic to knock him away. Sonic uses his Spin Dash to get the sticky goo off of him as he launches himself at Fiona.
She charges up her robot arms to slam her fist onto the floor to unleash a shockwave which pushes Sonic backward. She is launching energy blasts from her metal hands with Sonic dodging her incoming assault.
"I am not going to let you kill the royal family Fiona," Sonic said as he nails her with a Homing Attack to knock her across the room. She uses a grappling hook to latch onto a lamp to leap onto a platform to begin firing energy beams from her palms.
"Sonic," Tails tosses an anti-gravity bomb to lift Fiona into the air with Sonic climbing up the walls to slam a Spin Dash into the red fox.
"Crap, your little sidekick. The one who was in love with some plant girl," Fiona taunting him as Tails is not tolerating this.
"Knock it off Fiona," Tails pulls out his laser pistol with Fiona sucking in the bolts into sucker pads in her palms.
"Thanks for the juice little man," Fiona fires an orb of energy to hit the floor to unleash a big wave of energy to knock the two away.
"She got some serious tech in those arms," Tails said.
"Breezie must have upgraded her," Sonic said as Shade is getting a shooting match with Fang. She is wielding her double-barrel shotgun to fire slugs with Fang ducking into cover to fire his laser guns. Shade activates her suit's cloaking system to make her go invisible to use her wrist leech blades.
Fang looks on with confusion to see Shade is gone with her sneaking in to slash him draining a bit of his life force and making him weaker. "Crap, I am not feeling good," Fang said as she kicks him into a pillar.
Fang is shooting the air with Shade firing a rubber slug to stun the gunman and slashes him several times leaving behind bloody cuts. Fang is drained even further as Shade grabs his arm to toss him into a pillar. He tosses his smoke grenade to hide from Shade's view as he moves to a different position.
Knuckles and Bark are getting into a grappling match trying to use their monstrous strength to overpower each other. Bark punches Knuckles to knock him backward with the huge polar bear lunging at him. Knuckles roll out of the blow which made a large crater from his missed punch.
"Thunder Arrows," Knuckles calls upon Chaos energy and toss bolts of lightning to stun Bark. Knuckles charges to deliver a powerful shot with his heavy punch which knocks back Bark. Both big Mobians were clashing with their fists with crashing blows causing shockwaves from their powerful fists.
Bark gives Knuckles a right hook but Knuckles catches it and tosses him over his shoulder to drop him onto the floor. Knuckles tries to stomp him but Bark rolls away. He is kicking fallen rubbles to send them flying into Knuckles.
Knuckles sees the royals going to get crushed by the flying rubble. Knuckles speeds over and punches the piece of debris to save the royals from being slammed by this.
Amy is casting spells by tossing water bubbles but Bean uses his bomb gloves to summon ice bombs to turn the bubbles into ice bombs. They explode knocking Amy backward with her rushing at the duck.
"Got to do better than that Amy," Bean said as he tosses an ice bomb with her using fireballs to destroy them to clear a path to the bomber duck.
"Eat this," Amy hits Bean with her hammer to knock him away.
"Time to remove the royal princess," Bean tosses a bomb at Undine with Amy coming in to knock away the bomb.
"Thanks for the save," Undine said as Amy shows her a big smile.
"Not a problem, we are friends now," Amy said as she leaps into the air to slam her hammer onto the floor. She unleashes a wave of razor-sharp to blow away Fang, Bean, and Bark to knock them all into a wall.
"Guys," Fiona said as Tails sets his laser pistol to stun to hit her in the chest to paralyze her while Sonic would use a Homing Attack to knock her down onto her ass. "Damn it, this operation is a bust. We need to get back and regroup," Fiona tosses a smoke bomb to cover their escape out of the palace.
"We did it," Amy said as she high-fived Tails.
"Yeah, we send Fiona and her goons packing back to mama Breezie," Sonic said as the five heroes look over to see the royal family being very impressed by this.
"We are so grateful for your swift actions here. You managed to save our lives and force out the assassins. We are in your debt," King Puff said.
"Well, some red carpet treatment should be in order," Sonic said.
"Indeed, we need to talk about us working within your borders," Amy said.
"Yes, due to your actions here today. We can put our trust and faith in you. Striker and Echo, give them clearance to work with our defense forces and allow them free access to our borders," the Queen said.
"Yes madam," Striker said as Undina looks on with happiness.
"By the way, this chaos Emerald you can have when you aid us in getting rid of Breezie's fishing fleet. Once this happens, you can have the Emerald as a token of thanks," the King said as the five heroes get out of the palace with the royal guards pursuing the runaway criminals.
"I am so glad this all worked out in the end. We need all the help we can get with this crazy woman on the loose," Undina said as the others prepare to aid Meropis City in getting rid of Breezie's force within their realm.
