This is an alternative to The Shadow Guardian on my wattpad. Luz had a brother. Marcus was many things. A historian, doctor, fighter, comedian. Luz discovers he is also a magician. Follow Marcus (Not Luz) as he fights monsters and teaches magic, finds love and saves lives... All while keeping his promise to protect Luz

1. intro

This was the original idea for The Shadow Guardian. After finding all the original ideas for this I decided to make the rest of it. Think of this story as the alternate. This does not have the same ship. Marcus ends up with lilith in this one, The Prisoner. There is no oldest blight Amelia in this. Most things are the same. Marcus has magic and he is still hunting those things. (Not spoiling anything for the people who aren't caught up.)

The Shadow Guardian is if Marcus stays with Luz. The Prisoner is if Marcus stays behind after everyone was freed. The worlds will be extremely similar. How Marcus got his magic is the same and his magic knowledge is both vast and mysterious. (In both worlds) in this version, Marcus is 19 going on 20 so it isn't weird at all that they become a couple in the future.

I don't want to spoil anything else.
