Speaking of going over the last few Speedway / Flight levels left to rank on the countdown, here we another level of such on the countdown with Icy Speedway from Spyro 2.

Where credit is at for much of how I stated back in the Wild Flight write-up, Icy Speedway deserves some praise as one of the better Speedway / Flight levels of the three Spyro PS1 Games thanks to how much like Wild Flight, Icy Speedway offers unique level design in different paths to take with the player able to take one path on the ground supercharging the snowmobiles out of the way to going into the sea and taking out the monster serpents and taking down one path on the ice platforms and using timed skills to take out the spinning dancers in of the level giving unlike most of the other Speedway / Flight levels which is disappointingly not seen in most of those types of levels and how overall of why I have pretty much all of the Speedway / Flight levels appearing low on the countdown, gives Icy Speedway some form of replay value which is great for any Video Game level out there and helps make almost all of the Spyro levels special and unique in it's own way.

The only reason of such of why I have Icy Speedway ranked higher then Wild Flight on the countdown is because of the fun and hard secret orb Hunter mini-game of the level. The paragliding mini-game was frustrating for me back when I was younger but, fun at the same time. You control Spyro through in the air with the alalog sticks and using real gameplay skills unlike of those of the other secret mini-games levels out there of the PS1 games and guiding Spyro through all 50 rings of the level with the slightest mistake of the mini-game you made, possibly to screw you up and start all the way over again of the mini-game. Again, fun for what it was.

Overall, Icy Speedway was one of the better Speedway / Flight levels out there of the series but like how I stated earlier, they all fall in comparison of one another due to how there is no where near enough hidden depth in terms of gameplay to enjoy out of them from compared to the remaining 50 or so more main levels there are left to rank on the countdown with. Overall, you know Icy Speedway good for what it was. Blah, blah, blah.
