Chapter 6

Carlisle picked up his phone it was Charlie Swan he answered "Charlie I'm afraid now isn't a good time for a visit we have a lot of company I can ask Bella if she can bring Nessie to visit you."

Charlie said "actually I'm not calling about visiting I have a situation at the station. There is a girl here claiming to be your daughter my deputy pulled her over doing 80 in a 45 mile an hour zone she didn't have any ID but she says her name is Elizabeth Cullen. I have never seen her before."

Carlisle said "I'll be right there."

Carlisle came in the police station Liz was sitting next to Charlie's desk she smiled when she saw him and said "hey Doc tell this guy that I'm telling the truth I am so your daughter."

Carlisle said "Charlie she is in fact my daughter she was supposed to be here nearly a week ago. I knew letting her get here on her own was a mistake. Liz where is your drivers license?"

Liz said "I lost it about the same time I borrowed David's bike."

Carlisle asked "does David know you borrowed his bike?"

Liz said "He does by now."

Charlie said "borrowing without permission is stealing and stealing a motorcycle is grand theft auto."

Liz said "lets not all jump to conclusions now if David knew I borrowed his bike he would have given me permission. David would do anything for me."

Carlisle asked "do you have to charge her. Grand theft Auto is a hefty charge for someone so young."

Charlie said "I can charge her with speeding and driving without a license and I will impound the bike until you can contact David to pick it up. I don't suppose I have to charge her with Grand theft auto."

Liz smiled and said "you know you are great."

Charlie said "thanks but let this be a warning I'm not going to be easy on you next time. And I am sure there will be a next time."

Carlisle said "there wont be. Will there Liz?"

Liz said "yeah I mean no of course not."

Carlisle drove Liz to the house Liz saw for herself the reason behind everyone being gathered the little bronze haired girl with brown eyes and pale skin she was beautiful she was a hybrid half human and half vampire Edward and Bella's daughter she was playing with a dark haired little boy with blue eyes and olive colored skin about half her age.

Liz stopped to look at the two of them Esme went to her and embraced her Liz said "he has grown up so much. Is he still a good boy?"

Esme said "yes a very good boy. Rosalie and Emmett are truly his parents. They love him very much. We all do. There has been no sign of your sisters."

Liz said "good it has been worth it then. Now what is the trouble."

Bella said "it is our daughter Renesmee the Volturi believe she is an immortal child."

Edward said "the Volturi are coming to destroy her. We are gathered our friends to witness that she is not immortal. The testimony of a grown or at least nearly grown hybrid would be helpful."

Liz said "until they learn that I hunt vampires for their venom. They will promptly want me dead after that. Me and my sweet tooth."

Carlisle asked "how long has it been since you hunted for Venom?"

Liz said "it has been awhile it seems the older I get the better my control it. I have another year until I reach maturity. None of my siblings craved venom."

Emmett said "Neither does Nessie. Or Lucas. Lucas favors meat but eats human food he has a healthy appetite."

Liz smiled and said "he always did."

A native young man went up to Liz and said "you are different then the others."

Bella said "Jake this is Liz, Lucas's mother."

Rosalie frown and Liz said "No I'm not. Not anymore. I gave him up Rosalie is his mother now."

Jacob asked "why did you give him up?"

Liz said "he wasn't safe with me. My sisters are after me they want to take Lucas away from me. I wouldn't have returned but I heard my help was needed here. I could see Rosalie fell in love with him right away and he does look like Emmett they would be good parents to him. The Cullen's would keep him safe."

Edward said "you didn't have to leave we could keep you both safe. Your sisters don't stand a chance against us. Emmett could scare all three of them away."

Liz smiled and said "I bet he would like to do that. Scaring my sisters away."

Emmett said "no one is taking my son away from me."

Nessie went to Jacob he picked her up and she reached for Liz she put her hand on her cheek Liz smiled as the images entered her mind.

Nessie lowered her hand and Liz said "Thank you Nessie that was very special. It seems Jacob has been close to you from the beginning."

Jacob smiled and said "she is my special girl. It is complicated to explain it is a wolf thing."

Liz said "she likes you very much. You are in her memories a lot. She happens to like her little cousin very much too. I am happy to know that."

Esme said "Nessie and Lucas are best friends."

Liz said "I'm glad to hear it."

Esme said "let me introduce you to everyone. No biting our guests."

Liz smirked and said "yes ma'am."

Esme introduced Liz to everyone and Liz found Alice and Jasper gone so she used their bed to sleep in. They had turned Edward's old room into a room for Lucas now that they felt he was too big to sleep in their arms anymore.
