Honey Speedway aside, I found Metro Speedway from Spyro 2 to be my personal favorite Speedway / Flight level of that from all three PS1 games. While that really isn't saying much overall like how I stated earlier in the countdown of how the Speedway / Flight levels can't hold a candle compared to the more full-fledged 3D levels out there in all 3 Spyro games, it does however say how great, unique and fun a Speedway level should be unlike boring and forgettable to play through ala Night and Crystal Flight from Spyro 1. Metro Speedway overall, was good for what it was for to the series.
One of the highlights of Metro Speedway of how I stated earlier in of the countdown in the past few or so Speedway write-ups in the countdown is that, they deserve some credit for having some form of re-playability and having a unique style to them to enjoy with which isn't seen in over half of the Speedway / Flight levels of that from the series, IMO. Metro Speedway includes both of these as note with the unique style coming out of Metro Speedway with unique targets to take out of in the level such as the group of jump-man hanging on to anvils and let out a funny little girl cry when you take each one of them and also with the ability to use the Supercharge power-up to explore more of the level and finishing down Metro Speedway in different and unique ways and like of how I stated a thousand times already, every Video Game out there needs some form of replay value and thankfully that goes true for at least some of the Speedway / Flight levels of those from the Spyro PS1 series.
As far as the presentation goes of Metro Speedway, I enjoyed it for what it is. I liked the upbeat dance music playing in part of the level fitting the style of Metro Speedway well and how I will admit on that I am a sucker for marine like levels of such from Video Games and that goes in such for Metro Speedway from Spyro 2.
Overall, not much else to say other then the same things that have been said already for other recent Speedway / Flight levels of such on the countdown. Metro Speedway was good for what it was and it shows how true a Speedway / Flight level of such should be done right for in of the Spyro PS1 series.
