Charmed Ridge is a level that I will admit on back when I was younger playing through of Spyro 3, was a level that I outright hated. The hate that I had with Charmed Ridge when I was younger was about around the same amount of hate I had so with for Haunted Tomb, the worst of the worst Spyro levels on the countdown, IMO.

Unlike Haunted Tomb however which is a level that I still hate to this day as now that I am older, Charmed Ridge has grown on me but, overall I find to be yet another level much like other levels that ranked in this countdown section, to be very forgettable and bland and as such is the case with Charmed Ridge.

The biggest problem I had with Charmed Ridge when I was younger and however is a problem that I still have with the level to this day is, with how nothing stands out in terms of gameplay design in of the level. Charmed Ridge is at terms a magic level of such which is a type of level that is seen at least twice in every PS1 Spyro game.

Unlike of such where I found the other magic levels of the series to be very unique in gameplay and fun to play through such as Wizard Peak, Lofty Castle, Cloud Spires and Enchanted Towers just to name a few, nothing of what I have seen with myself playing through of Charmed Ridge sticks out and for what I have played through of the level, most of the style and gameplay design of Charmed Ridge are basically recycled from the other of such magic levels of the series from the platforms and stairs you have to navigate in using your timed skills watching out with the enemies of the level trying to screw you up of such with magic. That goes in part for the entire level from beginning to end with nothing noteworthy to talk about for, IMO.

The only thing noteworthy to take about for in such for Charmed Ridge is that at least the Dragon Egg mini-games are fun to perform in of the level with the Jack and the Beanstalk parody mini-game and taking out the cat witches with Sgt. Byrd of the level were decently enjoyable for what they were worth for. As for everything else for the level goes overall, Charmed Ridge was a very forgettable level and disappointing in such for nothing unique in terms of gameplay design coming out of the level which is something rarely seen from any level of the such from Spyro PS1 franchise. Charmed Ridge gets of what it gets and ranks fairly low in such because so for in the countdown.
