Chapter 10

The Cullen's minus Esme had a brunette young woman cornered Liz went to them and address her saying "Jennifer what are you doing here?"

Jennifer said "we all have been looking for you and your son Elizabeth. We are a family we belong together."

Liz said "you don't want me to be a family you want me to be a monster and you want to turn Lucas into a monster. Well I don't have Lucas anymore I gave him up for adoption. He doesn't even know who I am. He loves his family and they love him. He can be an innocent little boy without anyone trying to turn him into a monster."

Jennifer said "You need to let what happened in Indonesia go that is ancient history now. Nothing you can say or do can change it."

Liz said "Now you sound like Maysun. Maybe you can brush off the destruction of an entire village but I can't. He made me destroy that child not you or our sisters I wasn't much older then the child herself."

Emmett asked "what are you talking about Liz?"

Liz said "our father, though he doesn't do it nearly as often as he used to is still creating hybrids. The girls are not venomous but the boys are. Awhile back a brother was born in Indonesia he managed to bite but not kill his 3-year-old cousin. 5 days later the girl woke as an immortal Joham brought me with him to meet my new brother what we found was the entire village destroyed and the immortal child sitting innocently surrounded by dead bodies Joham made me kill her using my special bite."

Jennifer said "she was an immortal child it had to be done they can't be taught Elizabeth she would have never learned control and we would have gotten the attention of the Volturi. I hear these friends of yours have done just that."

Liz said "you could help them if you wanted. A mature hybrid could be of great help. I'm afraid I'm no longer the help I might have been. You see it turns out you aren't my only family. I found my mothers family and they aren't human either."

Jacob said "we are cousins."

Jennifer said "they aren't like you like we are. You need to tell me where the boy is no human family will understand him."

Liz said "I never said they were human. They are more then capable of protecting him from you and the others. The Cullen's are my family now I don't need you and the others. I won't kill innocent children anymore."

Jennifer said "if father comes he won't have my patience. Elizabeth these people are not your family. You need to be with your sisters we can protect you from your own weaknesses."

Liz said "you need to leave before I get angry. You won't like it when I'm angry."

Jennifer said "don't threaten me I'm your elder sister you don't want me to get Serena involved do you. Father sent me and Maysun out looking for you he wants you to come home."

Liz said "some families you are born into other families you choose to belong to. I'm a Cullen now. Leave now."

Jennifer said "I'm not leaving without you even if I have to force you to leave. You have a year yet before you come of age. I can take you."

Liz changed into her wolf and growled at Jennifer who shouted "what the hell?"

Edward said "she told you she isn't human on her mothers side."

Jacob turned into his wolf and growled at Liz who ran out of the house Jacob ran after her.

Carlisle said "there is a recessive gene among some of the families in the Quileute tribe that given the right situation they can change into wolves. Liz's grandfather was among one of those bloodlines. Liz inherited it from her mother. It only happened two days ago."

Bella said "we really do feel she is part of our family. We will take care of her."

Rosalie said "She is our sister and we won't let you take her away from us if she doesn't want to leave and she has made that pretty clear."

Emmett said "I think it is time you should leave."

Jennifer could see she wasn't going to get any help from the Cullen's convincing Liz to come with her so she left.
