When Hunter heard that Marcus was freed he was angry. How was He supposed to meet up with him now? He went to the cell anyways. He would always keep his word. He was standing in front of the cold , dirty cell. "Hunter, don't you know how to greet and old pal? Turn around and shake my hand."

Hunter turned around slowly and grilled his hand tightly. Only to be greeted with a loud fart sound. "Whoopie cushion in the hand trick. Never gets old." Hunter was snickering. He was still a boy , and most boys love fart noises.

"How exactly are you planning to help me?" Hunter asked as they started to leave the prison. "I'm a magicless , artificial witch."

" Well, we have to mine for the last ingredient to turn you into a real boy. " Marcus replied so casually, Almost as if he had done it before. "Where are you going?" Marcus asked him.

" Uh, out the door? " Hunter was confused, if they had to mine something they had to leave out the only exit. "By the end of today, you will be my apprentice. C'mon, I know a shortcut."

Hunter followed Marcus to the darkest corner of the conformitorium. Marcus grabbed his hand and kept walking forward into a wall. At least, that was what was supposed to happen.

Hunter looked around. His surroundings were inverted. Everything that was dark was light and vice versa. "What is this?"

" welcome to the negative zone. You end up here when you walk into a shadow. Here time slows down. Perfect for training, reading, and spying. They can't see us. " Hunter followed behind watching in awe. So this is how he seems to know everything. He had the time to look for all the facts. He thought.

When they were in the cave, they hopped back into reality. "What exactly are we digging for?" Hunter asked as he drove his pick into the stone in front of him. Marcus already knew what to dig for and where.

He stopped digging. "You've heard of Titan's blood right?" He shook his head. His unc-- Belos told him about it needing it for the day of unity. Marcus held up the little gem hanging around his neck. " we are digging for Blood stones. The crystallized bone marrow of the Titan. "

Hunter looked in wonder. But, "What's so special about marrow?"

they both continue digging. "Well, among other things, Bone marrow creates blood cells. Which means..."

Hunter stopped everything he was doing, " it is way more powerful. Because it produces the blood when the Titan was alive. "

"Bingo. We need three as big as my fist to make you real and give you magic. "

After an hour of digging with pickaxes, they stopped for lunch. they were eating ham and cheese. When they finished eating, "this is taking too long."

Marcus' right palm started glowing a silver glow. The rock they dug up crumbled and floated in the wind. They swirled around and made a drill. He then snapped his left hand. The drill turned shiny and metal. He then drilled hard a fast.

They made it to a cavern. The walls were covered in glowing blood stones. "We need the ones that are very dark blue. That's how you know they are pure."

When they got what they came for. Marcus closed up the cave and they made it to the knee. There they enter a small shack filled with the equipment the head of the potion Coven reported stolen. Liquids are being boiled, mixed, condensed, and filtered. They were all connected to make a great symphony.

They got Five blood stones in stead of the required three. Hunter was about to ask why as Marcus crushed one to dust with his bare hand. Holy shit.

"The dust of a blood stone. The blood of an Arch-Wizard." He pricks his finger and three drops enter the mixture. "The tears of an elder dragon." A vial of green liquid is emptied. " and a hint of lemon. " He says as he looks at a book. "Gramps, you asshole." He squeezes what Hunter could only guess was a lemon .

They watched as the finished product glowed green and then blue. When the glowing died down, Marcus bottled it up and went out side. a circle was burned into the ground with a light beam. "You need to stand in the center for the ritual. I need to borrow some diety level magic for this to work."

Hunter complied. "What is diety level magic?" He asked as he watched Marcus . Marcus placed the three blood stones evenly apart in the circle. " The short answer is the power of the Titan himself. The father of the magic of the boiling isles . " Marcus placed a while diamond in the north side of the ritual circle and a black one on the south side.

The fact that all of this is the opposite of what he grew up in shocked him. Hunter wondered to himself what else was He was lied to about.

"Okay, you ready?" This snapped him out of his trance. He was excited at the idea of being able to use magic naturally. "Ready."

" Good. Now, eat this. " the bottle of elixir that he watched Marcus make. "This is so you don't melt and remake your body from scratch." Hunter shuddered and looked at the liquid. He was about to betray the emperor, the government, the Coven he was raised in. And he was ready, happy, even. He chose his own destiny. He drank the entire bottle. and threw it away.

Lemon was a good addition.

The ritual circle started to glow with the color of a crimson sunset. He turned to Marcus. A spell circle of the same color was held in his right hand. "No turning back now. Let's begin.

I Arch-Wizard Marcus Morningstar descendant of Sage Merlin. Asks of Mother Gaia and The Grand Titan that this boy's soul is repaired, body restored, and magic returned. "

He snapped his right hand. A green spell circle appeared around the crimson one. Green runes (Nordic) filled the space between.

He snapped again. A blue ring appeared next and blue glyphs (Aztec) filled the space between the green and blue.

Marcus widened this amazing spell and casted it on the ground. Hunter was now in the center of it. A spell circle can't do that here. How strong is this man?!? A ball of light appeared. It got close to Hunter and seemed to observing him. An echo of a woman's voice came out of it as it flew away. "Granted."

He smiled. A diety was giving him a chance at life.

The earth started to shake. Hunter turned to the Titan's skull. It's eyes giving off a faint glow. A low, masculine, growl came out of everything and nothing at the same time. "Granted." Hunter just stared wide eyed. Happiness and horror were a strange mix. He heard the Titan speak.

" You have been deemed worthy of life. Take your prize. "

The spell below sent lightning from the ground. Red, green, and blue arcs shot through him. The pain was excruciating. It felt like he was being torn apart and put back together again. Over and over again. At every joint and every organ. He chest felt like it was on fire. His brain was screaming and begging for it to stop. All Hunter could do was scream and endure.

And that is exactly what he did. A cloud came and lightning struck down on him for extra measure. When the light show stopped and the stones were depleted. Hunter was still standing. He looked at himself.

He was slightly taller. His blond hair had messy brown patches in it. He was more muscular. Still pretty skinny though.

"Hunter Bloodborne, welcome to the Arcane Order."

Hunter didn't have a last name. He was given one. A fitting one. Reborn and given life from the Titan's blood stones. He now has magic too. He could feel the little bit of energy coursing through his veins. He also felt something moving in his stomach. It was moving up his throat.

blurg*

Hunter started throwing up all over the ground. The green sludge pooled in the ground. Getting bigger with each heave.

Marcus was patting his back. "Let it out. It's okay. Let it all out."

Hunter looked up at his best friend now mentor. He was in his debt.
