At this point in the countdown, we have arrived in this section of the countdown where we move away from levels of Spyro PS1 series that I personally found to be very forgettable and had a somewhat bad opinion on to levels that I just found to be merely average or serviceable levels out there in of the levels. The words serviceable and average are easily the best words to describe Cloud Temples in a nutshell, IMO.
The reason of such is that what and why that I find and think of Cloud Temples as a mere okay level in of the series is, of how nothing special and unique sticks out of the level to make it stand out in my eyes unlike pretty much of the remaining Spyro levels there are out there for me to rank on, thanks to their unique style in of their levels. I felt that the gameplay elements of Cloud Temples while were decently fun to get through such were bland and somewhat forgettable to me such as the enemies that are trapped in stone and whenever you come close to them, come back to life and attack you. While at this stands out in Cloud Temples unlike of such from other levels in the series, it felt boring for me wanting more out of the main level design and it felt something was missing for me while I was playing through of Cloud Temples and that was that I felt I didn't get enough fun out of the level wanting more out of the main gameplay of Cloud Temples.
On the saving grace for Cloud Temples however is that, I found the Orb mini-games of the level to be some of the most fun out there better then most of the levels from Spyro 2. The bell tower mini-game was fun and enjoyable to get through as such with the annoying at times but just as fun, Agent Zero hide and seek mini-game. This gives Cloud Temples some level variety going for it which isn't seen for the most time I was playing through of the level in of the main level design, IMO.
Overall, Cloud Temples was a level that wasn't bad or wasn't that good. I would easily say just average is the best world on a scale to rank the level on. I wished there was more to the main level design of the level and the level offered more unique styles to the main gameplay but, whatever. Cloud Temples was an overall okay level for me and as such earns it a slot in the section of the countdown where the average and okay levels get ranked on in.
