An important rule in Dimension/Universe Jump: NEVER assume something won't happen. There's a ninety-nine point ninety-nine percent chance that it WILL happen. In other words, you are jinxed.

The very next rule: If jinxed, you're going to have to deal with it yourself. No one will be able to replace your position, otherwise the consequences will be much worse than they originally are.

And the last of that Rule of Three: You have to follow the problems from the beginning to the end. You're not able to make another jump before you finish the job.

Which means, in my case…

"Welcome to Youkai Academy. Be careful, kid. It's a scary place." With the last haunting laugh, the bus driver closes the door behind the student, and drives back to the tunnel they just crossed through to enter the school ground.

"Thanks for the reminder." The student says to himself as he watches the school in front of him… and the graveyard between him and the building. "Have to assume those are real tombs… and make sure I won't join them." Turning to his right, he sees a sea filled with red color. "...I wouldn't be surprised if it's blood."

He then looks down to his clothes, and so far he's NOT liking it. The uniform consists of brown jeans, white shirt, a red tie (he read it being red ribbons for girls) and green jacket? "I'm still questioning if my fashion is outdated or this combination is horrible." He then checks his watch to see that it's almost time for the entrance ceremony. "Better get moving. That Chairman also wanted me to meet him at lunch too. *Sigh* It's just the first day…"

As he moves himself to the building, he watches the crows 'chirping' while jumping from one dead tree to another. He feels some of them staring at him, possibly noticing his 'scent' being different from the normal people going through this road. He also feels a strange stare from afar as well, but he decides to not make a guess. He's already jinxed himself once in this timeline, he's not doing it again… consciously.

He pulls out his phone and starts using the front camera to check if his appearance looks strange. So far, his short black hair is a bit of a mess as some strands are poking out, so he uses his free hand to fix them. His rectangular glasses with black frames are sitting comfortably on his nose, giving him a better sight for his poor black eyes. His skin is… to his own embarrassment, a bit too white that even girls were envious back in his secondary school, as his cheek is a bit puffy too, not to the point of being fat though.

IRL story. Don't ask.

'I really shouldn't de-age myself… then again, the current me looks a bit too old for a fifteen-year-old.' The student thinks to himself and pockets his phone once his hair is straight and good to go.

He then comes across a tomb and tries reading what's on it. "Hm… Name, year, cause of death… accidental burnt? Yeah, sure accidental." He says sarcastically as he continues his walk.

In the end, he's here to stop those meaningless problems from causing misery.

He then reaches the front gate of the school, and an 'older' student notices his arrival and questions if it's his first year in Youkai Academy. He replies yes, and the student instructs him to head to the gym for the ceremony. He says his thanks and quickly heads to the location. And when he reaches the place, there are already a mass of new students waiting for the event to happen. He tries to not make any accidental bumpings to the others as he walks in to not gain attention to himself. After a while, once the Chairman arrives, everyone turns silent as he starts the speech.

And he swears he now has at least two people staring at him: One from before, and from the Pope himself. There are a couple more but those are more of a glance.

After the ceremony, he is given a list of his schedule, which also has the name of the class he's going to be in. 'One-three… damn, I forgot how this works. And is it the same class?' He thinks to himself as he folds the paper and puts it into his pocket, as he walks out of the gym and starts making his way to his classroom.

And so far, nothing happens drastically. Aside from almost forgetting about the shoe locker thing. Though he's not surprised at all when the name he gave to the Headmaster is written in the English Alphabet. He had a small hope it could be translated, but he knew what he did when he chose the name.

When he reaches his class, the teacher has not arrived yet so the students are not exactly where their seats are as they make their own groups of friends and talk to each other. Not bothered by it, he starts finding his own desk and prepares for the first class…

"Hey there." Hearing a cheery voice, he turns his head to the left to see a smiley face. "I have never seen a boy this cute like you. What's your name?"

'Let's see… Light blue hair, maid headband, purple eyes… Yeah, I'm screwed.' He could feel Fate probably laughing from some corners. Deciding to ignore the 'laugh', he smiles back and replies: "Thank you for the compliment. You look great yourself too."

"Of course! Nobody can resist my beauty!" The girl proudly claims as she wraps her arms under, well you know where.

"As for my name…"

The arrival of the teacher interrupts the conversation as everyone returns to their seats. After the greeting from the students, the teacher tells them all to sit down while introducing herself: "Hello everyone and welcome to Youkai Academy! I am your Home Room Teacher Shizuka Nekonome!"

'That's a poor attempt to hide yourself as a Neko.' The student snickers in his mind.

"As you know, this is a school exclusively for Youkai only!"

He decides to not just listen about it since it's just some random stuff. He carefully looks around the room to see if anything is strange in the class. So far, nothing suspicious, other than from the girl before waving at him when she notices him glancing at her. He then notices there's a nearby empty seat. Given by how the students are positioned…

"What a bunch of boring rules." A certain student speaks up, snapping his attention back. "Wouldn't it be better to eat all of them? If they are beautiful girls, however, just molest them."

"There are billions of humans out there." The student decides to cut in. "Do you truly believe you can eat them all?"

"Is that a challenge, punk?" The other student starts glaring at him.

"Please calm down, mister… ah, Saizou Komiya. He's correct about the number of humans out there. There are too many of them, so we have no choice but to co-exist with them."

Saizou grunts and returns his gaze back to the teacher. "I smell human's scent around here…"

"It's impossible! This school's protected by a very secret barrier! If any human is found here, they would already be dead!"

'Yeah sure. There are two in here already.'

"My apology for the late arrival." The front door of the classroom suddenly opens. "The Headmaster wants me to meet him for an important event."

'So basically herself in full force. Aside from her eyes being close to her mother's, probably her way to hide her Youkai trait.' The student sighs in his mind in relief, while the other male students are gasping/whispering at how beautiful the newly arrived student is. He almost smirks though when he sees the envy look from the girl he met moments before the beginning of the class.

"Ah, it's okay. Come in and take your seat." The teacher accepts the apology.

As the girl walks in, the boys start cheering, but she doesn't get bothered by it. She then walks past his desk without a single word and sits down in her seat.

'Guess she can't remember me that well. Oh well, no problems.' He shrugs in his mind as the teacher continues the class without further problems.

'Alright, lunch time.' As the teacher announces the end of the last class of the morning, the students start pulling out their own food and enjoying their lunches while talking to the others. He puts his stuff in his locker and starts heading out…

When a certain silver-haired girl suddenly pulls his arm and starts 'walking' him to a direction which he's sure leads to the Chairman's office. During the way, he can guarantee that he has gathered an anti-fan club for himself with the intention of 'murdering' him for stealing such a beautiful girl. He doesn't really care about that, though.

Unless one of them literally stands on their way and stops them on track.

"Hey there beauty." He feels the grip on his arm lessen and his collar's being grabbed by the interrupter and he's being lifted up. The students surrounding them start murmuring in worry, knowing the person is. "I'm your classmate, Saizou Komiya. A babe like you should hang out with a guy like me instead of losers like this guy."

He turns to see how the girl reacts, to see her stoic expression never drops. "And why should I go out with you?"

"I'm sure I can bring more fun to you than whatever this guy can do." Not hearing the frustration in the girl's voice, the guy just flirts to her again.

"I suggest you walk away, pal." He decides to speak up, causing Saizou to turn his attention to him. "It's a bad omen to meet the nurse on the first day of the school, you know?"

Apparently that's a wrong choice of words, because he's being slammed to the nearby wall by the one holding him. He can hear clear gasps of fear from the others, but the girl's standing still and not reacting to that at all.

"Oh you think you are a smarta$$, punk? How about I send you to the infirmary now?" Clearly provoked, Saizou threatens.

Instead of being intimidated, the student turns to the girl and asks: "Hey, can you confirm that my next attack would be self-defense?"

Saizou turns to her and sees a slight grin on her face. "Go ahead."

"What do you…"

In less of a second when the bully turns his head back to the 'bullied', the student raises his left knuckle up and slams it to the left of Saizou's head, knocking him out of him and sending him flying away, much to the watchers' astonishment. He then pushes himself off the wall and starts fixing his collar and coat, then asks the girl who now has a smile of satisfaction: "Was it necessary?"

"Making sure the Chairman is not joking." The girl replies as the student finishes fixing his arm sleeves. Though he shouldn't, because she starts pulling him again, walking past the students without any further problems. "And he told me you're going to meet him this noon, and I wanted to tag along."

He lets the girl do the pulling without resisting. Though the conversation still continues: "I didn't look the same as before…"

"Aside from being whiter? And looking more delicious?"

"...Hope I'm not a pig in your eyes."

"You're exaggerating. Also, when did you meet the Chairman again?"

"A month ago, just right after I said goodbye to you all. Happened to cross him during his 'recruitment'."

"I'm a bit surprised you would choose to become a student. You would fit to be a teacher."

"Oh please no. I suck at being one."

"It happened before?"

"Yes. And it's better to be a student to understand other ones, don't you think?"

"Hm… I suppose you have a point of your own."

After a while, they finally reach the Chairman's office. After the girl knocks on the door, a secretary opens the door for them to enter…

"Welcome to my office." The man himself, being mysterious and creepy as ever, greets them. "I heard a commotion just before you reached here. Care to explain, miss Akashiya?"

"Just a bully being punished. No further harm done." The vampiress replies, being used to the man's look.

"And you did the deed?"

"Do you think our hero here would let me do so?"

"I'm no hero, Moka." The student says it, knowing it won't change a thing. "Anyway, mister Chairman, what do you want me to talk about? I don't like missing lunch."

"Just want to ask you how your first day is."

"...Really?"

The flat look from the student causes the witnesses to giggle.

"On a more serious note, I just want to warn you that the Underground World is looking for you." The temperature in the room drops.

"...And you just informed me now and not a month ago. Why?"

"Because the area where you stay for the time didn't have any activities from them. But now, you are here…"

"They want to recruit me."

"Correct. Of course, the Shuzen family can keep them down for a while, but it's not going to last long."

"...Huh?" The surprise tone in the student's voice cracks the atmosphere. "What do you mean? What does the Shuzen even have to do in this? Like, I'm just a passerby."

"Not after you saved their daughters and protected Lady Akasha… How about you learn it from Miss Akashiya?"

"...Would it affect my 'education' here?"

"I'm sure you can answer it by yourself." This time Mikogami lets his signature creepy smile be shown. "Remember, my school, my rules. Don't break them, and you can do whatever you want."

"...Yeah yeah." Throwing his arms up, the student just replies casually. "Anything else?"

"We're running out of blood supplies. And Miss Akashiya didn't have her fill this morning."

The student doesn't even need to look to know the vampiress turning her face away to hide her embarrassed face.

"...Sure. Go ahead, Moka." After a few seconds, he feels two fangs being dug into his neck, and his blood starts running a bit cold. Not bothered by it, he continues his question to Mikogami: "Blood joke aside, do I smell?"

"You don't even have any Youkai scent on you. I'm surprised how none of the students already suspected you of not being one."

"Like my mystery and funny times." The student smirks back, matching with the Chairman's one. A moment later, he feels the fangs leaving his neck. He turns to see the girl having a happy and satisfied look. "How is it?"

"Better than any blood packs I have consumed before. Fresh, full of minerals… a bit too sweet though." The girl replies, and when she sees the teasing smile from the 'human' student, she gulps and pulls up her stoic look, though a faint pink can be seen on her cheeks.

"Glad you like it. Warn me first if you want a sip." The pink turns to red. He then turns to the Chairman and says: "I believe we should return to our classroom. The next period will start soon."

"Of course. I won't hold you back."

With that, the student and Moka say their goodbyes and leave the man behind.

During the walk (normally this time), the student whispers so no one else but Moka can hear him: "I didn't contribute anything for your family…"

"Do I need to remind you what you did that day? We are all in debt to you."

"Didn't I already…"

"And you expected us to just keep it like that? An eye for an eye, blood for blood."

"Well there's no eyes and blood from me involved."

"You are unbelievable."

"That's the 'funny times'... I didn't expect you to be near my height."

"Your society always viewed us to be bigger than you."

"Can't blame me for seeing you being a cutie pie a month ago." He instantly ducks to avoid a slap by the embarrassed vampiress. "So what has your parents planned to 'pay the debt'? I can accept it as long as it doesn't go overboard."

"That's something I can't tell you yet."

"I'm not going anywhere soon."

A small silence.

"Is it really your name?"

"The one I picked, yes. I have stopped using my old name for a long time."

"Why?"

"That's something I can't tell you yet." This time he receives a punch to the shoulder.

"You are a jerk."

"You haven't seen me to the fullest, Moka."

After the lessons are over, the student uses the time between now and dinner to check where he's going to stay. The vampiress, surprisingly, doesn't come with him, excusing that she needs to check if the blood packs are available the next day. Not really minding it, he picks his bags and heads to where the dorm is. And once he finds it, he takes a moment to observe its structure. 'It's… not that bad. Like, it looks just like where a normal human would leave… Maybe the environment?' Leaning his bags to a nearby tomb, he starts taking a few pictures of the dorm so he can make some comparisons later in the future… "You look pissed, Komiya."

He puts his phone into his pocket and slightly moves his head to the right to avoid a massive tomb being thrown at him from behind. The projectile hits the wall of the gate of the dorm, creating a hole on it.

"You are going down, punk." Doesn't even consider turning back immediately, the student slowly picks up his bags and carries them on his shoulder, then jumps to the side to avoid something slamming to the ground. Landing a couple meters away, he's still keeping his back to his opponent. "I will make sure you're not going anywhere near Moka again."

"That's her decision to be near me, not mine." Sighing, the student turns his head slightly back to see the bully's monster form from a corner of his eye. "And that slap should have told the difference of strength between us." Another tomb is thrown at him, and he just simply raises his hand up to grab it, completely stopping the velocity. He moves it to his eye level and reads the content. "...Damn, hang themselves to death? Did they get ghosted or something?" The tomb in his hand breaks, followed by a huge punch. He immediately leans back to avoid the strike, and backflips twice before landing on his feet. Moving the bags a bit so they're comfortable on his shoulders, the student notices the death glance from the ayashi. "Jeez, she didn't even acknowledge your attempts to flirt. Better go fix that first."

What follows next is just basically him dodging the punches from the outraged bully. During that whole thing, he doesn't even bother countering. Though he feels like the fight might go forever if he doesn't end it. The bully seems to care only to beat him to the pulp.

When Saizou goes for another overhead punch, he ducks and raises his own palm up, aiming towards where the ayashi's lungs are. The hit's enough to push all the air off his opponent's lungs, but not enough to completely shatter his ribcage. The bully gasps in pain, his strength slowly vanishes as he starts dropping on his knees. Fixing his outfit, the student starts walking away to avoid getting buried by the ayashi's body. Though, he does give out his advice: "Better get a bad omen rather than dying. Your legs can still carry your body, so bring yourself to the clinic quickly."

Not waiting for an answer from the defeated, he heads to the dorm and starts finding where his room is. After a couple of stairs, he reaches the floor where his room is, and he sees his 'neighbors' staring at him with stars in their eyes. "...You guys saw that, huh?"

When you replace yourself with the supposed Protagonist(s), these things will happen:

Events will be altered, but the majority of the purpose behind it still happens. For example, two fights with the bully.

The attention on yourself will be greater. It's Karma.

Comical things in Harem/Ecchi will never change. I might just be the 'walking blood pack' for Moka if the 'no extra blood packs' are just an excuse.

And some events might never happen. Expecting social justice to not come after…

ANNND I just forgot the first rule, again.
