It has been a few days since the student attended Youkai Academy. Thanks to the 'fight' between him and Saizou, many would not dare to come near him in case they would accidentally stand in his way the next day. However, after interacting with him, they gradually leave the fear behind and treat him like a typical, normal student. Some even find him to be pleasant to talk with, as long as it's not something serious.

To his surprise, the 'daily blood-sucking' didn't happen in the time duration, and Moka is always at her best. It seems that the shortcuts of blood packs are just temporary, and the provider might be her own home or the school's supply company or something similar. Either way, at least he's not worried to have anemia anytime soon.

Still, he's a 'human' in a school full of Youkais. Sooner or later he would gain a ton of attention. Especially from the harem…

"...Moka, I'm not against you sucking my blood, but you can do that when your mood is better, right?" The student asks in a confused tone, as the girl before him is cornering him under the stairs where not many people don't look at often. And it's also lunch time too, so nobody really pays attention to anywhere else but either the canteen or the outside areas. He has prepared himself that Moka would jump on him anytime, but only when she looks thirsty and/or accidentally lets her Youkai trait dominate her to try to 'eat' him.

Not when she's looking at him with somewhat of a sour and, hidden behind her eyes, jealous look?

"So you hate me?"

"Obviously not. But you can't really enjoy 'food'..." He makes a quotation mark with his fingers. "If you aren't feeling well, right?" The staring from the girl intensifies. "...Go ahead." He gives up knowing arguing with girls is just asking for defeat. And it's a signal for the girl to dig her fangs on his neck and draw his blood out.

He waits patiently for her to finish her meal… and after a while, he notices that his blood stops drying out after a minute but he still can feel her fangs digging in his neck. "Uh… Moka? Hello?"

"That should be enough." The girl finally speaks up and separates herself from him.

"You stopped drinking for a minute. Did you feel unwell?" Rubbing the spot in case there's extra blood left, the student asks in concern.

"I had my fill. Thank you." Without further explanation, she starts walking away without looking back. At least she does have a somewhat greater mood than before. That sour look is still there somehow.

'Some investigation is needed, then.' He thinks to himself then follows her back to the class to pick up his own lunch box so he can eat before finishing the afternoon period.

Once it's done, he starts the search by heading to the clinic where he's sure the blood packs would be transferred to. However, during the middle of the walk, he notices the students around him giving him strange stares, some boys even give him envious looks. He reaches his fingers to where Moka drank blood from, and he feels the spots clearly not there at all. Shaking his head to dismiss it, he opens the room of the clinic to fortunately find the nurse checking on the equipment. He speaks up to gain her attention: "Hello miss. Can I ask a bit about the blood packs you have?"

"Give me a moment." He walks in and starts looking at the desk where the nurse usually sits, and after a few seconds she turns her attention to him and asks: "May I ask why you need them?"

"You have a 'regular' student here that has light anemia, if I'm not mistaken." Since he knows a bit about classified identities and such, he tries to put some words that could point to a person without being too obvious.

"Ah… if you mean that popular girl with silver hair, then yes. Did something happen?" The nurse also understands it, so she replies with the same caution.

"Her mood seems to be faulty from the morning…"

"Wait a moment." To his surprise, the nurse starts leaning her head closer to him and takes a sniff, causing him to back away in suspicion. She then giggles and asks: "Did you two love birds do something in the day?"

"Love… what do you mean?" He pulls his coat closer to himself and starts sniffing to see if he smells. So far, nothing. "I didn't smell that bad, did I?"

"You silly. I was talking about her scent on you."

"Her… oh… why though?" He asks himself, feeling stupid that he forgot the Youkai here can sense others'. He then notices the curious stare from the nurse. "Well, you DID know her species, right?"

"I read her files, yes."

To entertain her, he continues: "Yes, we did some lovey-dovey things, but she lingered on despite having her fill completed. And before that she wasn't really happy for some reasons."

"...You didn't know about the commotion two days ago? At the end of the day?" She asks back with a somewhat understanding look.

"I was in the library for some readings, so no, I heard nothing." That's technically the truth, but he can guess what event she's referring to.

"Well there was a catfight. If you want to know the details, you should ask your girlfriend." Giggling to herself, the nurse sits down on her chair, while the student just leans on the wall. "And no, the blood's no problems here."

"...Just curious, miss, where are those blood packs from?"

"I can't give you that, sorry."

"Personal sponsor or some company?"

"The latter."

"...Guess I can't get any further with that then. Thanks for answering the questions, miss. And she's not my girlfriend."

"Just having my fun here. You are wel…"

Before his hand could reach the doorknob and the nurse could finish her sentence, the door is flung open and the person doing so turns out to be his blue-haired classmate who looked like she's just doing a marathon.

"...Kurumu, what happened?"

"GREAT! You are here! Now I can make you mine!"

'...Great.' He thinks in his mind sarcastically as the girl tries to jump on him but he manages to turn his body in time to avoid getting bearhugged from her, causing her to collide on a nearby cupboard. He quickly gives a nurse an apologetic look as a 'sorry for the problem' before he quickly exits the clinic by jumping through the window and starts making his way out of the school ground so he can basically do anything else afterward.

For a moment he thought he could outrun her for a while, but then he remembers something that students usually do: Break the rules. So when he notices his shadow gets a strange shape overlapping it, he immediately knows it's going to be a fight.

And the moment he steps on the edge of the dead forest, the figure above him makes a dive bomb, so he instantly rolls away to avoid the hit. Which he is glad that he did, because the tree next to him gets cut in pieces. He quickly gets on his feet and turns to his attacker, who now has bat wings and a tail with a spade tip, and her nails extend to the length of daggers.

"How long are you going to reject me?! The Hypnosis Stare, the Seductive Voice, nothing worked on you! Even when I offered you my own body!" The girl speaks up, clearly enraged at how he avoids her attacks physically and emotionally. "I knew it! You were bewitched by that damn vampire!"

"...Hate to break it to you, I don't really see her as…" He can't continue the sentence as he has to bend extremely far on his back to avoid a claw swipe. He then has to quickly kick his legs while using his hands as stands to make a flip to dodge the second instant swipe.

"As long as she's still there, you will continue looking at her! And if I can't kill her, then I will kill you instead!"

"That's… not how the world works." He replies, though it's more to himself when the girl herself looks like she's really ready to do what she just said. "Right, now what to do…" He ponders as he starts focusing on dodging again. Though, to make sure he doesn't have to 'hurt' her like how he did to the bully, during her swipes, he quickly grabs her arm or legs and throws her in the air high enough so she has time to re-control her body, stopping her attacks for a moment before she continues, getting angrier and angrier.

The fight is interrupted when the succubus girl is kicked in the rib and sent flying away while knocking down several trees. The student looks at the direction where that girl lands to see if she needs some help, then to the person who performed the kick. "I'm still handling it, Moka."

"She's been annoying me since the other day." Flipping her hair back, the vampiress nonchalantly replies back, and the student now notices her eyes having changed to how a vampire's eyes look like. "Did you get kissed?"

"Prefer not stealing her first." He replies back, earning a stare. "Mine was used long ago, so you are not having it."

"Why would I need it?" That's not really truthful of her if that flush can say something.

The duo then turns to see their opponent slowly standing up with her arms clutching on the area Moka just kicked. Coughing a few times, Kurumu tries to speak: "I can't… I can't lose…"

"You can't even defeat him when I allowed you to try that day." That makes her friend snap his head to her with his eyes showing disappointment. "I know you can handle it. Just wanted to show how futile her efforts were."

"No, I'm rather disappointed in how you handled it." Now it's the vampiress being surprised. "You could just tell me so I can talk with her in peace."

"With a succubus? No chances." She turns stoic immediately when she replies.

"I still need to find… The Destined One…" Kurumu seems to be in a mindloop. "My species… They need to continue…"

"...Care to explain that?" The student questions. "Because I don't remember the succubuses need a specific lover."

"Apparently her generation does. And from what I heard, they are dying. And yes, they actually need a specific one. And they are picky about it."

"Isn't finding a lover a picky subject?" The student raises his eyebrows, then starts walking to the struggling seducer. Upon seeing him approaching, Kurumu tries to attack him, but he grabs her arms to stop the attacks easily. "Stop. It's pointless continuing this fight. Now that Moka joins in, you have no chances to win."

The vampiress stays back, knowing that her partner is never in true danger. Meanwhile the succubus tries to pull her arms back to attack but his grips are much stronger. Slowly her resistance dies down and she accepts her fate…

"Good." To the girls' surprise, the student carries the blue-haired girl up in bridal style and starts heading back to the school. "Now let's get you to the clinic."

Moka plans to protest, but then remembers the boy's 'life principles', so she sighs and lets him do what he wants while following him. Meanwhile the injured girl is speechless at how he's treating her even after the fight.

"It's a tough job to keep your species alive." The boy starts. "I can tell that you are desperate to fulfill your role. However, your way to perform your mission is wrong. I'm no expert about succubuses, but if you want to find your 'Destined One', it's better to not use your power. Love is something that's earned and given from both sides. Seducing is completely fine as long as you're not messing his or her mind."

"...'Her'?" The vampiress questions. "Her mission is to continue their legacy. Why would she try to get someone her gender if she needs to…"

"Hm? I thought the succubuses have the ability to transform into male and vice versa?" They return back to the schoolground, and the trio earns looks of jealousy from the very few students who leave late. "...Did I get the info wrong?"

"It's a very high-leveled power." The two's attention turns to the girl in the boy's arm. "Your suggestion is correct, but it's so rare that you would be legendary if you can pull that off. Even natural Doppelgangers can only mimic the look and power."

"Guess that's out of the window, huh?" The boy shrugs. "To the old-fashioned dating ways, then."

"...Are you really serving yourself on the plate and giving it to her?" Moka can clearly see what he's saying, and she's NOT happy hearing.

"Well, 'all is fair in love and war'." They reach the clinic again, and thankfully the door's fully opened so he walks in and finds the previous nurse. "Sorry for the intrusion. Can you take care of her please?"

"I expected nothing less." The woman giggles as the student lays Kurumu on a bed. "What are the possible wounds?"

"Definitely bruises on her left side, possibly broken ribs when she collided against trees. Not sure if her head got hit during it."

"Okay, I will do another check. You two can leave her here."

"Request the Chairman for your overtime payment too."

"I will." The nurse chuckles as Moka and her partner leave…

"Why?" The question from the injured girl stops the duo. "Even though I did terrible things to you."

"Those are bad, yes, but not evil. I don't see a reason to harm you, let alone kill you." The boy replies without blinking.

"But, you could have just left me there."

"Does it need a reason to do good things?" Unknown to everyone else in the room, Moka lets out a small smile. "Besides, unlike Saizou, you are just a fragile girl…"

'Fragile?' Both Moka and the nurse think, seeing it completely BS. Even IF the vampiress hit her harder (not to the point of killing), she could still recover after two or three days even without much help.

"And it would be very un-gentleman of me to do what you said. Take care." With that, the student waves his hand to the succubus before leaving the clinic.

"...You are lucky he's forgiving." Moka decides to not follow him yet and instead stay behind. "Now you see why I challenged you to try. It's not going to work that easily."

"To be honest, I was expecting the boy to also join the other bed." The nurse giggles.

"I doubt he would need to use this room at all. By the way, why was he here?"

"He was worried about you, young lady. Apparently you didn't satisfy him enough so he asked for help." The nurse bursts out laughing when Moka's face reddens up. "Next time, don't be lovey-dovey for too long. Your scent lingered on him for quite a while."

"That's… the intention. Can I have a blood pack?"

"On the second shelf. And write a report about it."

A couple of days later

"...Claiming territory? I'm no one's property, you know."

"That's how Youkai World works."

"Oh I'm not judging. Just feeling irritated."

Morning classes are done, and now everyone's enjoying lunchtime. Moka has also pulled the student to an isolated area so they can speak freely without problems. He decided to not speak about the previous incident with the succubus until now for everything to calm down first.

"Because of that, the boys keep sending me jealous looks whenever I talk to them."

"Can you blame them?"

"How? Who would expect a chubby-faced guy like me to have a beauty like…"

"HELLO!"

"...Like you two with me. Back to you, Kurumu." He can clearly see a mark of frustration on Moka's forehead as the succubus approaches them with a bright smile. He also sees that she's holding a box that seems to have food in it. "Do you have lunch yet?"

"I did! And I want to share this with you!" Moka's expression hardens as Kurumu shows them what's inside the box. "I just baked it this morning! I hope you like it!"

"...I hope you realize that both of us can beat you without a problem."

"He's my Destined One! I would not harm him ever again!"

'I can hear you laughing, Fate. Don't even try to hide.' Groaning in his mind, the student keeps his smile up on the outside and picks up a cookie. "Food tastes better when it's shared with friends. Can Moka have some too, Kurumu?"

"Oh of course!" All of them can tell her smile is a bit forced, but since it's the male student who offered, they don't really want to do the opposite.

Hesitantly Moka picks one and puts it into her mouth… "It's actually good."

"Well, she does make it with love." The student takes a second bite while watching the girl beaming with happiness. "Don't expect me to fall that easily Kurumu. Mind you, I have a complicated standard to pick a partner."

"I'm not going to lose to her!"

The student can only chuckle as he turns his head away and finishes the current dessert in his hand as his two friends in the school glaring thunder at each other, both clearly not going to back down for any seconds.

'Sorry girls… If you want to be with me, you have to understand my previous wounds first.'

I never said Dimension/Universe Jump didn't have its benefits. My previous complaints still stand. It's just that I'm so used to it so I can deal with the problems easier than normal.

So far, Moka didn't have the same addictions to my blood as her original counterpart. Which is good. I don't need to eat more than I usually do to replenish the lost drops.

Kurumu is, well, Kurumu. I guess there's no way to avoid it unless some disturbances of timeline happen.

Homework still sucks. And then the fact you have too much knowledge that you don't know which one is the standard. Guess studying from the bottom up is still a norm.
