"Are you guys certain this is gonna work?" Alexis asks as she watches Steven and Amethyst preparing for their attempt to jog Pearl's memories.
"We don't know but it has to." Steven says.
"Who's here for the show?! Who's here 'cause it's the end of the world?! This first song's a special request from Steven Universe!" Sadie says as she goes on stage with her band.
"This has gotta bring Pearl's memories back. It's all about quitting a crummy service job." Steven says as he looks at Greg as Sadie and her band begin playing before Amethyst joins in singing and playing with the band.
"Steven it doesn't appear to be working." Alexis says as the group sees Pearl isn't doing much.
"One sec! It's not working." Steven says as he goes over to Amethyst.
"Maybe we need to hit her where it hurts." Amethyst says.
"What?!" Steven asks.
"You know her original boss? The love of her life? The reason she rebelled in the first place!" Amethyst says.
"Mom. She's gotta remember Mom. But..." Steven says as he looks at Greg.
"If that's what it takes..." Greg says before Amethyst shape shifts into Rose as she is performing.
"It didn't work." Alexis says as Pearl hasn't changed at all much to the other's disappointment.
"How could that not work? What are we missing?" Steven asks.
"Don't worry! I can clap for you!" Pearl says as she claps.
"Ah! What will make you stop serving me!?" Greg asks annoyedly.
"As long as you exist I will serve you!" Pearl says.
"As long as you exist." Steven and Amethyst say in union.
"Could that be it?" Alexis asks as she looks at Amethyst and Steven.
"It's gotta be. That's the final piece. Mom disappeared! Dad I've got an idea." Steven says as he whispers to Greg his plan before the two get on stage and begin performing before the two fuse together much to the others confusion and the crowd's enjoyment.
"Um Greg?!" Pearl asks in alarm.
"Steven?!" Spinel asks.
"Spinel it's okay. Steven just fused. It's alright." Alexis says as she looks at Spinel before the group sees Pearl beginning to sing along before she and Amethyst then fuse into Opal while performing with Steven and Greg.
"You did it! ...Steven?" Greg asks as he and Alexis run to Steven after he and Steven unfuse causing Steven to collapse to the ground.
"Wait... Spinel!" Steven shouts as he and Alexis see Spinel run away in tears as Amethyst and Pearl unfuse.
"Steven are you okay!?" Pearl asks in alarm.
"D-Don't worry about me it's Spinel. We need her to remember how to stop her injector. Ugh! Pearl what do you know about her?" Steven asks.
"Spinel? She was Pink Diamond's little playmate. They used to spend ages together in Pink's garden." Pearl says.
"Garden?!" Steven asks.
"That's where they used to play!" Pearl says.
"So what's her problem with us?" Amethyst asks.
"Yeah. Why is she so angry?" Alexis asks.
"I don't know. I haven't seen her in 6,000 years. Something must have happened to her since then." Pearl says.
"Then that's what I need to find out!" Steven says.
"Whoa kiddo! Are you sure you don't need a break?" Greg asks as Lion and Garnet come over.
"It looks like that fusion took everything out of you." Amethyst says.
"I gotta do what I can with the little I have left. I'm going after Spinel." Steven says.
"Then I'm coming with you." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form and runs off with Steven.
*Timeskip*
"Spinel? Are you okay?" Alexis asks as she and Steven find a depressed Spinel in the conservatory.
"I just... started getting these feelings flooding back to me...!" Spinel says sadly as she cries before Alexis gives her a sympathetic look.
"That's- That's good! I need you to remember. If you don't something really bad will happen to me and my home. Please think! Do you remember the garden?" Steven asks.
"The garden?" Spinel asks.
"Is anything coming back to you?" Steven asks.
"No!" Spinel shouts as she slams her fists onto the warp pad activating it before it warps the group.
"Spinel where are you taking us?" Alexis asks in alarm.
"Back... to where I never left..." Spinel says as the group arrives in Pink Diamond's garden.
"Spinel!" Steven shouts as he and Alexis follow Spinel.
"This was our garden! A special world built just for Pink and I. On Homeworld Pink was so lonely and sad but not here! Here we would play for hours. Every day was so much fun. At least... That's what I thought." Spinel says sadly.
"What happened Spinel?" Alexis asks as she steps forward toward Spinel.
"Pink wanted a colony more than anything. One day her wish came true! Blue and Yellow gave Pink her very own planet. Earth! I was so excited! A brand new place to play!" Spinel says as she smiles.
"So why didn't you go with her?" Steven asks.
"Yes. Is there a reason you stayed behind?" Alexis asks as Spinel's smile fades as she begins telling the group what happened before Spinel turns back into her old self after getting her memories back.
"Uh-oh." Alexis says worriedly as she sees Spinel angrily glaring at Steven before shifting to wolf form and standing in front of him.
"S-Spinel you've- you've got your memories back! I can't believe Mom did that to you. Actually I can totally believe it. You're not the only one she hurt." Steven says as Spinel pushes Alexis aside and pins Steven.
"Spinel stop!" Alexis shouts.
"Yeah you must know all about her life without me! Rub it in why don't ya?!" Spinel shouts angrily as she punches Steven before alexis jumps in front of him blocking her attacks.
"No! It's not like that! You deserve a better friend." Steven says as Alexis reluctantly begins fighting to keep Spinel back.
"Steven's right. You can have a better life now." Alexis says.
"How would you know? You're not even a gem!" Spinel shouts angrily.
"Maybe I'm not. But I know what it's like to be hurt. I lost my family because of something unfair that happened. You lost pink due to unfairness. But it isn't too late to begin a new. If you won't trust Steven then trust me. I can tell there's good in your heart." Alexis says before Spinel sadly kneels to the ground.
"Spinel come back and save the Earth with us. You can start over there. Make new friends." Steven says as he offers his hand to Spinel who cautiously takes it and begins to leave with Alexis and Steven.
