"I'm so happy here Alexis. It's beautiful here. I'm even more happy since you came to visit me again." Spinel says as she and Alexis are playing inside a room in the palace on Home World.
"Well we have become close since we met Spinel." Alexis says shyly.
"I know. You're my best friend and I'm not just saying that to goof around." Spinel says as she blushes.
"I know you're not. But even so I love your goofyness." Alexis says happily.
"I'm glad you do. I love seeing you happy. I really miss you when you go back to Earth." Spinel says.
"I miss you too Spinel. Too bad we can't see each other more often." Alexis says.
"I know." Spinel says as she smiles.
"Then I take it you haven't told her the news?" A voice says revealing to be Yellow Diamond, Blue Diamond and White Diamond.
"Uh what news?" Alexis asks curiously.
"The wonderful news Spinel was planning to tell you today." Blue Diamond says happily.
"She has a big surprise for you." White Diamond says.
"Well that explains her excitement when she woke me up this morning with her surprise visit." Alexis says.
"Sorry about that. I was really excited. Didn't mean to startle you this morning." Spinel says as she chuckles.
"It's alright. But seriously what news?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Go ahead and tell her Spinel. We're excited too." White Diamond says as Alexis looks at Spinel.
"Okay. So I had this thought and you can say no if you want to but I really hope you don't because I really hope you say yes. I was hoping you'd come to stay with us on Home World. Mainly stay with me. I've been really lonely without you around. I care about you and want you to be around without us having to teleport back home after." Spinel says shyly as she blushes.
"We thought it was a wonderful idea for Spinel. She's just like Pink in her love of things on Earth." Blue Diamond says.
"Only you're one of Earth's more extraordinary creatures." Yellow Diamond says.
"We told her you can stay in the palace. We have a room all ready for you." White Diamond says.
"Um..." Alexis says nervously.
"What is it my dear?" White Diamond asks.
"I... can't." Alexis says.
"You can't?" Spinel asks sadly.
"Why not?" Yellow Diamond asks.
"It's not that I don't appreciate the offer and it's not that I don't want to stay but..." Alexis says as she looks down.
"What is it? We can surely make any changes for you." Blue Diamond says.
"It's just that I'm still human. I don't mean any disrespect by this but you're all gems. I'm not. You guys go without things like fresh water, food sources, showers. There's just a lot of things I need back home that I can't get here. And without those things I won't survive here." Alexis says as she shakes her head.
"Well I guess we'll have to change that won't we? I'm certain Steven can help us make it to where you will be very comfortable here. All you have to do is say yes. But we're not asking this for us bit for Spinel." White Diamond says.
"You really want me here with you Spinel?" Alexis asks as she looks at Spinel.
"Yes. More than anything." Spinel says as she smiles and nods.
"Alright. I'll stay. But just please make sure to talk to Steven first about what humans need. It's much easier than going back and forth for supplies." Alexis says.
"We can do that." White Diamond says as she leaves.
"See? We told you she'd say yes." Blue Diamond says as she leaves with Yellow Diamond.
"How long were you planning this?" Alexis asks curiously as she looks at Spinel.
"Since you left last week. I'm really happy you're staying. I really like you Alexis." Spinel says while blushing
"I really like you too Spinel. I'm happy to be staying." Alexis says as she smiles at Spinel while blushing.
"Come on. Let me show you your room." Spinel says excitedly as she pulls Alexis with her.
