Back a while ago I made in the past few write-ups I made in for Spyro 1 levels in the countdown, while I found almost every level of such from Spyro 1 fantastic and fun in it's own way, I have to rank them lower then I am sure some people wanted me to rank higher in if they made a countdown of such very similar to mine and as such of why I had a handful of Spyro 1 levels appearing in fairly low in the countdown not to long ago is because, of how in compared to the more unique and more in-depth levels that appear in from Spyro 2 and 3, there are multiple levels of from Spyro 1 while again very enjoyable to play through IMO, I rank them fairly low in of my countdown because how it's easily seen from any Spyro PS1 fan out there that the levels of such from Spyro 1 are simply overshadowed in compared to the more unique levels of such from Spyro 2 and 3. This case of a problem I had with for a few Spyro 1 levels in for already appeared in of the countdown, can be said for pretty much the same thing for Cliff Town.

While Cliff Town was a great level overall and definitely not a forgettable level or a level overshadowed by any other level of such from Spyro 2 and 3, I found that I felt more could of came out for the main level design of such for the level, even for as an early of Spyro 1 level of such like of Cliff Town. Issues aside however, I liked Cliff Town overall as a pretty good level in my eyes.

One notable game element that causes me to rank Cliff Town higher then that compared to a handful of Spyro 1 levels of such appearing already in for the countdown with of the same problems Cliff Town had, is how some notable and unique style for a Spyro 1 level at time stick out from Cliff Town unlike any other level of such to the series. One note of this includes with Cliff Town being the first real level from this classic franchise introducing and having the player using great glide skills to perform, reach and have random fun in of Cliff Town. This is one thing that no other level of such from the series can take away from that gives Cliff Town some form of personality of level design terms unlike so for many levels overall with and from the franchise as a whole. This mechanic would help out more in the future when it was used well in more for future levels of such from Spyro 1.

Another nice gameplay touch I loved from Cliff Town is with how, I believe it's the first real level to some gamers out there in of Spyro 1 for most of the time and should be on with on how Cliff Town introduced fans of the series to the ever so popular and awesome purple gem in of Cliff Town that would be a standard in for the Spyro PS1 franchise. Using great gliding skills in of the level to master in and if you were smart of in and where to find it, you could find the first true purple gem of such from the Spyro series as a whole in. Who doesn't love those purple gems?

While Cliff Town was a level that I found to be a little too easy for my taste and with of how it falls somewhat short on in terms of the level design thanks to it being just as easy as the main gameplay of the level in compared to other Spyro 1, 2 and 3 levels out there, Cliff Town was a good, simple and enjoyable level to play through from start to finish in that should please at least any Spyro PS1 fan out there in some shape way or form like levels already ranked in of this section of the countdown. Very good level for what Cliff Town was.
