"Sirius!" Lily yelled, laughing while pushing him away. "Stop it, you big oaf!"
"It doesn't seem to me like you want me to stop," Sirius replied, and Lily rolled her eyes at him. "C'mon, Lilypad, we need to enjoy this time while Harry's asleep. The little bugger seems to know when I'm trying to get lucky."
Lily giggled at the pout on her boyfriend's face, but she couldn't argue with him. Harry had a tendency to cry and demand attention when she and Sirius were getting hot and heavy.
They were seated on the couch on Lily's flat, and as they had some time before Harry woke up from his nap, they were enjoying themselves. Whenever Sirius was around, Harry hogged all his attention, not that Lily minded it too much.
"Sometimes, it's like you're the child, not Harry." Lily kissed Sirius' pout away. "Besides, do I need to remind you that Harry's the one who got us together?"
Sirius had a fear of flying, and Harry had helped calm him down while they were seated together on the plane. Lily thought their first meeting was adorable, and she teased him about it every chance she got.
She had been surprised to find out that Sirius was staying with his brother, who just happened to be Lily's neighbour. After spending time together, with Sirius babysitting Harry for her, Lily had fallen in love with him bit by bit.
"You can't keep using that excuse every time, you know?" Sirius said, grabbing Lily by her waist and kissing her nose.
"If it means you'll stick around, I think I'll keep using it," Lily replied, hugging Sirius.
Lily had never imagined she would fall in love again after breaking up with Harry's father, but Sirius had changed her mind soon enough. Meeting him was fate, and Lily was very grateful for it.
"Besides," Lily mused out loud, "I doubt Harry would let me get rid of you."
"Harry, huh?" Sirius had a glint in his eyes, which made Lily giggle. "Maybe I should go spend time with Harry instead."
Sirius tried to stand up, but Lily yanked him back down and climbed onto his lap. She kissed him, knowing that if it was up to her, she would keep him for as long as she lived.
