Here we yet another boss like level to rank in of the countdown from Spyro 1 and easily as far all of the main six boss battle levels go from Spyro 1, Metalhead was easily one of the better ones of the bunch and overall, a good boss level of such to the series overall thanks to how large and fun it was to explore the main platforming gameplay sections of the level and also thanks to in part of how cool the presentation is of the level with a calm and cool nature of so to Metalhead. If it wasn't for the fairly easy boss you come in contact with of Metalhead which is a minor nitpicking problem that all of the Spyro 1 boss levels suffer from, I would have ranked Metalhead higher. Overall, Metalhead was a great level despite the fact that I felt the boss was A LITTLE too easy for my taste.

What makes Metalhead stand out and more noticeably fun unlike so for Doctor Shemp, Toasty and Blowhard from Spyro 1 I already ranked in of the countdown is with, how this level is a full-fledged boss level with many things for the player to explore in such as using whirlwinds and timed platforming skills at the fullest to collect all of the main treasure of such in Metalhead.

It's always nice for any level out there from any Video Game give the player a decent to heavy amount of variety of such to perform in for the Spyro PS1 series we are talking about of a level like Metalhead unlike so for the past three boss levels I already talked to about in from Spyro 1. This refreshing hidden depth concept would work out well for the future in the series for making the boss like levels more unique so that is something that Metalhead deserves credit for helping to make the boss levels in of this franchise more dynamic and just plain more fun too mess around in.

If there is one minor nitpicking problem I had with Metalhead and as such keeping me from ranking it in the Top 30 in the countdown is that, at the time I can understand for me since I was a younger gamer growing up at the time was challenging and unique, at this time of day in gaming Metalhead falls short as just a fairly easy but, also unique boss level out there of such to the series and so compared to a few other boss levels left to rank in of the countdown, Metalhead falls short in compared to them for being harder and even more unique then such for Metalhead.

Still, Metalhead was a very, very great level overall to the series. Not exactly the best out there in my books but, still enough for me to rank it fairly high in of my countdown in thanks to the refreshing memories it brought to the series for helping to make the boss like levels from the Spyro PS1 series more unique and fun but, also being just a great full-fledged boss level overall in general. Not much else to say other then Metalhead was a great level.
