Here is a level from the whole Spyro PS1 Trilogy that I find that I do not understand personally why for me on how it gets hated on so by many fans of this classic franchise. I found Hurricos from Spyro 2 to be a very fun, unique and challenging level thanks to how there were so many fun and varied design tasks there were in of this level for the player to take in part of in and remains as what Gnorc Cove was as one of the best levels from Spyro 1 with Hurricos being one of the best levels from Spyro 2. Not exactly quite the best level out there from this entire franchise but, Hurricos was a fine superb level of such that pleased me well in.

The best and my personally favorite gameplay concept that I liked from Hurricos making it a very good level out there and why I have it ranked highly in of my countdown is how complex yet enjoyable the main level design was for the player to travel in of Hurricos to 100% finish in. Notable hard but enjoyable gameplay mechanics of this level include using your main platforming skills and patience to the test to move from windmill to windmill in one section of the level to revive the main power source electric center in of Hurricos and collect an Orb in doing so with.

Speaking of complex level design, one other element that I loved from Hurricos making it a great level was how I found the main level design to be just as unique as it complex of this level. In order to complete the level from start to finish, you have to use the supercharge like power-up in this level and shut down or back up the windmills in this level that block treasure away in the level and the only of way to finish so is putting these types of skills to the test also to the player. Everything to the main level design of Hurricos felt like fresh air in my books to the main gameplay design there is compared to other levels out from all three Spyro PS1 games and that is by means a very good of a thing of such for a level.

Variety played a nice well in for Hurricos with so many things to see, do and explore in always kept the player engaged in some way or form during their play through of this great level. These things include facing off with robots and workers with giant wrenches that love to take you down in and are well design in of the level design to take down in for themselves to taking in part of other Orb like mini-games of Hurricos such as the lightning stone game where you have to stop them from being stolen from purple gorilla like enemies in of that certain section of the level.

Hurricos was a very nice level thanks to how much variety, style, challenging and fun gameplay concepts come and click well together in for the player to have fun for with. Again, not exactly the best out there compared to the #1 Spyro level left to rank in of the countdown where I found to be included with some of the most engaging moments I have ever played in gaming but, Hurricos was a great level in my books and deserving of for a high placement for a Spyro PS1 level in for my countdown.
