Preston Ward Condra Ranks All 101 Spyro 1-3 Levels

A project I made when I was 15 years old, during my sophomore year in High School in September 2009. I critiqued and ranked every single level from Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon in, one consolidated project from worst to best. It doesn't matter if you agree with my opinion or not. All that matters, is that this ended up getting finished.

85. 18: Breeze Harbor

Coming in at #18 on the countdown is one of the ever so majestic and beautiful levels out there from this entire franchise, Breeze Harbor. Breeze Harbor ranks this high in of my countdown thanks to how I find pretty every little type of gameplay element in this level come together and fit well to make for one of the best levels out there from Spyro 2 and so in many original and fun ways. As such, earns Breeze Harbor a high ranking in for my countdown.

One of the best gameplay elements that I loved from Breeze Harbor and why I put it so fairly high in of the countdown is how unique is. From beginning to end in of the level, the player takes in part of re-heating life back into the main ship of this level and stopping so any enemies from putting it out such as the octopus like enemies with water hoses and firefighter hats.

This concept within the main level design of Breeze Harbor, I felt worked well and was very unique out there unlike any other level out there from any other Spyro PS1 level so this was great as it makes Breeze Harbor stand out and that is a very good thing out there for any level out there from any Video Game.

Other details on how there is charm and variety in Breeze Harbor abound. These sections of the level include riding yourself across flying ships to reach platform to platform in for one short section of the level to taking in part of very fun, clever and hard mini-games out there of Breeze Harbor.

These types of mini-games include the ever so hard trolley mini-game to collect 50 gears in separated in multiple areas of the cannon course. Man, that brings back enjoyable and yet at the same time frustrating moments out there. Heh. The other slight gameplay details to Breeze Harbor were fun as I loved the main use of cannon gameplay in this level. It worked well in for Zephyr and it works just as well if not better out there compared to it's war like companion level out there from Spyro 2.

Overall, Breeze Harbor was a very nice superb level thanks to high amount of variety, action and fun the player could take in part of in of this level. As such earns Breeze Harbor this highly of a placement for a level in my countdown.
