Leo's POV

It was afternoon at camp half-blood, and everything was normal. There were no crazy monsters trying to attack campers, no quests that were one-way tickets to the underworld, and nobody trying to take over the world.

Therefore, something was bound to happen. Just my luck that it had to happen to me.

It happened when I was in the sword fighting arena. I was practicing for the capture the flag that would happen tonight. My siblings Nyssa and Harley had captured the flag last time, and I did the time before, so the Hephaestus cabin had a reputation to uphold. I certainly did not want to lose that reputation.

Anyways, while I was practicing, a loud voice boomed out from somewhere. "This is Zues," the voice said. "I want Leo Valdez to appear in front of the Olympian council tomorrow at nine thirty."

Percy, who was at the arena with me, yelled at the sky. "WHY?"

The same rumbling voice answered" to stand trial. Now shut up, Jackson, I'm gonna watch a movie now." the voice stopped.

"Well," I said, "I guess I'll have to stand trial now."

Chiron's POV

That was bad. Why did Leo have to stand trial? He did not do anything wrong. Or did he? He didn't. I was pretty sure of that. Suddenly, the answer hit me.

Calypso POV

As soon as I heard the words leo, olympian, council, and trial, I knew something was bad. I don't know why Leo should not have to stand trial. When I didn't know something, I went to Annabeth, so I went to the Athena cabin, hoping to find her.

I saw Annabeth, and asked her my question. "I know the answer,"she said, "But I do not think it is wise to tell you."

"What do you mean wise," I complained. Leo's my boyfriend. I deserve to know."

Annabeth looked grim. "You don't," she said. "It's bad for you."

Bad for me? What?! My mind ran through a couple of scenarios. Suddenly, I realized the horrible truth. Why did the gods have to do this?
