Author's note: thank you Nesthor5000 for following and favoriting me. I feel honored. Also, Thunderofdeath98 left a review, but the review was confusing. Please post it again and make it more understandable. Lastly, I will be starting a new school soon and I have no idea how busy I will be. I will try to update more before school starts.

The next day

Leo's POV

I stood in the lift of the empire state building, wondering how the magical lift was built. Was olympus camouflage into the top of the building, or was the lift just a portal? Suddenly, I heard a "ding" and the lift door opened. I tried to calm myself and stepped into the olympian throne room.

The gods were very intimidating. They towered over me, angry expressions on their faces. I wanted to back away into the lift. Leo, you are the savior of olympus, I told myself. You can't just run away from a trial. So, I did the sensible thing: I said, "so?"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, SO?" bellowed Zues. "WHERE ARE YOUR MANNERS? WHY AREN'T YOU BOWING? WE ARE GODS, NOT YOUR LITTLE BROTHER." The trial wasn't off to a good start. I had angered Zues.

"I just want to ask, why am I even in trial?" I said. Not exactly the smartest thing either. Zeus, who had been getting angry, got even angrier. "WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO BOW?" he hollered. Reluctantly, I bowed.

Zeus seemed to calm down after I bowed. "Well," he said, "You are in trial for stopping the punishments of the gods."

"Since when did I stop the punishments of the gods," I asked, but as soon as I said that, I wished I hadn't. I realized the truth. A sheet of coldness engulfed me, and it felt even colder than when I was in Khione's presence. I was in trial for rescuing Calypso.

"So, let the trial start," said Zues. "Do you have a lawyer?"

That question was ridiculous. Did it look like I had a lawyer? "No," I said.

"Then, let me begin. You are in trial for stealing Calypso from her punishment, therefore ending it, even though her punishment was not over. What do you have in defense?"

I searched through all the demigod knowledge I had to find a good defense. I remembered a story Percy had told me. "I was helping you gods," I said.

Zeus frowned. "Why is that?" he asked.

"I was helping you with your oath." I replied.

"What oath?"

"The oath you swore on the river Styx that you would release all peaceful titans."

Zeus looked dumbfounded for a second. Then, he said, "There are no peaceful titans. They all fought us in the first titan war."
"Well, Calypso changed," I argued.

"She could change back. I didn't want to take that risk," said Zues.

"No, there is no risk. She helped destroy the triumvirate. I countered.

"Well," Zeus said, "I don't agree. I think you should do twelve great tasks, just like Hercules. What does the rest of the council think?"

"Well, Leo does have a point," Artemis said. "Calypso is peaceful to the gods. In fact, she saved us from the triumvirate."

The rest of the council (except for Ares, who kept chanting "war") nodded in agreement. I was winning the trial.

"Fine," said Zues. "Instead of twelve deeds, you will do six."

I thought that was unfair, seeing that eleven olympians were on my side, but the other olympians nodded, so I decided to accept that.

"You will start tomorrow. We shall provide you accommodation. Your first deed will be to capture scylla. Hermes, bring Leo to the Olympus guest room."
