Preston Ward Condra Ranks All 101 Spyro 1-3 Levels

A project I made when I was 15 years old, during my sophomore year in High School in September 2009. I critiqued and ranked every single level from Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon in, one consolidated project from worst to best. It doesn't matter if you agree with my opinion or not. All that matters, is that this ended up getting finished.

102. 1: Skelos Badlands

At long last, we have finally arrived at the cream of the crop of the countdown with my personal favorite level out there on the countdown at the #1 spot, Skelos Badlands from Spyro 2 which is not only my favorite Spyro PS1 level ever made but, at even times up there at as the most entertaining fun I have ever played for any type of level out there from any Video Game, I have ever played.

I LOVED everything in of this level and everything of the level still hold well now today with so many memories of being fantastic and glorious to play through for me in Spyro 2 just to play in of Skelos Badlands. Regardless of what happens, nothing and I mean nothing can hold a candle to Skelos Badlands as my favorite level out there from the Spyro PS1 Trilogy.

Like I stated earlier, I loved everything that happened in control for the player in of Skelos Badlands. I even loved how the fun details on how unique Insomniac had the gems hidden in of the main level design of such in Skelos Badlands to collect. To put it up short and simple, every little thing within of the main gameplay design of the level should offer some form of entertaining of the like out there to any Spyro PS1 fan out there and not only that, the main gameplay was simply stunning out there and offered some of the most fun I have ever played from a Spyro PS1 level making up for ranking Skelos Badlands as the best Spyro PS1 level ever made. This includes the main invincible lava protection power-up the player has access to in of Skelos Badlands and it was a blast for me to interact in every little detail there was to explore in of the main level design of Skelos Badlands such as briefly traveling across the lava safety and collecting gems in the process and having a better time aiming away at the bat yellow enemies in the level with better accuracy.

While it may seem like the lava gameplay within of Skelos Badlands would get boring, it never did and get annoying to me and it was brought to life simply because how unique and fresh amount of style that appeared in the level overall in and helped the standard on helping to bring more future Spyro 2 & 3 levels to follow, with how special and enjoyable levels can be thanks to a fresh and unique style of the gameplay standing out in the level and this is thanks so much by the highly entertaining Skelos Badlands level.

The amount of other great details that were in of Skelos Badlands from the clever and well designed platforming action in of the level to how challenging it can be to how fairly large of the level is and how enjoyable it can be to explore large like levels out there in the series and being extremely unique and important of such of a level out there to the series makes up for Skelos Badlands easily being the best Spyro PS1 level out there I have ever played and stands out as the finest and highest amount of fun I have ever played at a certain time out there for one certain section from any Video Game ever game.

No matter if I do a re-ranking anytime soon and even for me as a gamer when I was playing through of Spyro 2 for the firs few times, nothing will change with Skelos Badlands being highly entertaining, fun and classical to me. Overall, nothing more then with Skelos Badlands being an outstanding fun level out there in of Spyro 2 and as earns the spot as the #1 best Spyro PS1 level EVER MADE, IMO.
