Many years ago, in the far off land of Hallownest, two souls lived two very different lives; one was a travelling performer that had settled in the town of Dirtmouth and the other lives in a grand palace, the White Palace and was the heir to the throne. Much separated the two but as you'll see, love enjoys to intervein.

6. The city of tears

Grimm scavenged through the wardrobe of the prince's bedroom "Damn, does this man own a single coat this isn't massive" he mumbled unable to find anything to fit him soon just giving in and called Hollow. "Your highness can I have some help in here please?" he asked in defeat "Now now Grimm you know my nickname, please use it" the knight smiled "Ah I see the problem, my coats are a little big on you aren't they?".

Grimm watched as the prince pulled out a coat with a fluff brim before putting it on Grimm, the performer didn't object in the slightest to Hollow putting different coats on him with a giddy grin on his face. Soon Hollow landed on a coat that fit Grimm...sorta, it was still a bit big on him. Hollow giggled "It has never occurred to me how small you are Grimm" Grimm for the most part ignored Hollow's little joke and showed nothing but a tinge of blush on his face.

The tall, void born vessel lead Grimm to the stag station which once stood proud in the White Palace with its own special stag to boot "Where...today?" the stag in the White Palace was born with pure white fur, a rare accordance in the kingdom's vast ecosystem. "The City of Tears please Highness" Hollow smiled and pat the stag's head, Hollow often was the one to care for the stag and even gave him a nickname of Highness. The stag nodded "Who...that?" the stag was referencing Grimm, he vaguely knew who he was because the prince would talk to the stag about him "Cutie...bug?" they asked innocently. The knight's face flushed a pure black "Hop aboard Grimm" he pulled himself on the stag's back.

"C-cutie bug?!" Grimm thought "Does his think I'm cute or sumpthin?" The performer shook his head a little and pulled himself up, still a little rattled from what the stag remarked. He saw Hollow's blush and couldn't help joke a little "Ooh who's this cutie bug then Hollow?~" he teased, the prince bopped Grimm on the head with his hand "You better watch your tone nightmare king" he said playfully "Highness, we are ready to go" and with that the stag rushed off to the city.
