"Miku…"

"Yes my love?"

"What is… all this.." Luka gestured towards the numerous potted plants that dotted the windowsills and counter.

When Miku had said she wanted to raise some succulents, the older woman didn't particularly mind at first. It started out as one, then two, then ten, and now there's probably over 50 plants that decorated their condo.

The windowsills and porch were crowded with varying succulent types. Small potted plants can be found on the kitchen island, counter, dining table, nightstand, hell there's even one on top of the wardrobe; though Luka was sure that one is dead. The only reason those are probably alive was because of the huge windows that lined their walls.

"Why those are my children," Miku beamed proudly. The plant mom picked up a pot near the windowsill. The plant has oval-ish green leaves that round into a point at the top. It's outlined in a red-violet color near the point.

"So this one is called Teto, and this one-"

"You named them?"

"Why of course I did! Oh, that reminds me," Miku clasped her hands together and darted to the kitchen. She came back holding yet another succulent. The leaves are in a rosette pattern. Its leaves are similar to Teto's, the leaves toward the inner circle being green with a slight tint of red at the tip of each leaf. However the leaves on the outside were almost completely red, giving it a beautiful gradient.

"This beauty is named after you Luka!" she stretched out her hands, prompting the older woman to take a closer look.

"Well, it certainly is beautiful. But l think I'm still prettier fufu"

"Of course, of course! Though I do try to put my utmost care into maintaining Luka Jr."

"Can't say the same for the one on the wardrobe I'm guessing?"

"Huh? Oh that's a snake plant. They don't need direct sunlight so I'm putting Len there. Len is still getting sunlight from the nearby window, just need to make sure he's getting water- WAIT, when was the last time I watered him?" Carefully setting down Luka Jr., the plant mom rushes over her son while muttering "no, no, no."

After carefully examining the leaves, she let out a sigh of relief. "Oh good he can still be salvaged." She slowly made her way over to the kitchen to water the plant.

"Hey sweetie, how much succulents are we currently housing right now?"

"Hmmmm, maybe close to a hundred."

"A hun- sigh Miku, I can deal with a couple but why do you need a hundred fucking succulents. Can we get rid of some?"

"Awww, but they aren't hard to raise! I can teach you if you'd like, maybe that'll get you to change your perspective on things? Pretty pleaseee" Miku whimpered, clasping her hands together while making puppy dog eyes.

It's always that face, the face Luka can never say no to, and the tealette knows that. "ugh, fine," she reluctantly gave in.

"Yo Lulu! Your good pal has come to give you a vi- Fucking hell what is this, I don't visit you guys for a couple months and suddenly you're living in a jungle!"

"Ah Lily! Come in, come in," Luka gestured, chuckling. "Oh are you yelling about this? It's nothing really, just a little hobby of ours."

Lily stood at the door bewildered, everywhere she turned all she saw was green, green and more green. With the occasional speck of red, pink and yellow. She's surprised the two can even walk around and do daily activities with this much foliage around.

"Just why, do you have so much?"

"Huh? Well for one they're very easy to take care of…"

A/N: Haven't written in a while (that might be an understatement), so it's a bit rusty.

I don't think it's good to house that much plants in one area but we'llll ignore that

Also if you're curious Teto is a Echeveria 'Pulv Oliver' and Luka Jr is Sempervivum 'Sirius'! While I was researching about different succulent types I found these two and thought they were very beautiful, especially the latter.

There might be a couple mistakes here and there so feel free to point them out in the comments, and thank you for reading!
