Very short: Mayday Parker is thrown into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Doc Ock reunites with his universe's Spider-Man and meets the boy's daughter.
Dr. Octavius looked at Stark's arc reactor. It was essentially the one thing he had been trying to create. An everlasting energy source to help renewable resources.
"The power of the sun…"
"In the palm of your hand," came the voice of someone who had been very dear to him. The one person he had not seen in days.
"Peter?" Otto questioned. Was it really him? Just three days ago, he had been strangling the boy. And now, with his consciousness clear thanks to the younger Peter Parker.
The Spider-man removed his mask, and Otto could see that was definitely Peter Parker. His Peter Parker.
"Otto," Peter said, fondness in his voice.
A smile returned to the good doctor's face. "It's good to see you, dear boy."
"It's good to see you," Peter returned, because for him, it was seventeen years since he last saw the man who he once looked up to.
"You're all grown up. How are you?"
"Trying to be better," Peter said as Otto kindly smiled at the man.
Meanwhile, Mayday was afraid. She was too busy holding on and her trouble shooting spider-webs out of her wrist was not working.
"HELP!" Mayday shouted. The hero and good doctor looked up to see the girl holding onto the two webs. One on top of the bar and the other on the side of the building. However, Peter's spider-senses were going off the charts. The webs were starting to fall apart!
"Mayday!" Peter-2 yelled.
"Daddy?!" Mayday asked. Then she smiled when she saw her father, Peter. Not the teenage or the young adult version of her father. Her father. Hers and Otto's Peter Parker.
Snap!
The spider web broke and then the second one did. Not so different from MJ's screaming, Mayday was doing the exact same thing. Was her life over before it begun? However, she felt something wrap itself around her mid-section. and then she was brought into waiting arms. Mayday breathed in and out and saw herself in her father
"You saved me," Mayday says with happiness in her voice.
"Of course, I did," Peter said. "I'm always going to catch you."
Slowly, he set his daughter on the floor. He placed his hand on her cheek.
"Your mother and I were worried what happened to you."
Without hesitation, Mayday took it all in and hugged her father. Peter smiled and placed his hand behind her head and the other on her back, holding her close.
"So, your name is not Mayday Belle," Otto said with a smile. May took herself away from Peter's embrace and looked to Doctor Octopus.
"Um," Mayday said, feeling like she was in trouble with her father again. However, she noticed the anger. "No, its not."
"You gave him a fake name?" Peter asked her.
"Well, I had to. He was crazy when I met him," Mayday said. "No offense Doctor Octavius."
"Maybe I should know your name now, young lady."
"Well, it's May. May Octavia Watson-Parker, "she says her middle name in hesitation. "You can take comfort that Dad always spoke highly of you, even years after the fact. Because my middle name says otherwise."
Octavius looked at Mayday more closely. She had her mother's green eyes but her father's hair. Why he didn't see it before, he didn't understand. However, Otto was glad to see the boy had fallen in the lines of fatherhood.
Grown up, indeed.
"It's nice to officially meet you as my true self, Doc," she said, giving a smile and swinging up to where he was. It reminded him of his first meeting with the girl's father.
"You as well, dear girl," he said, taking her hand not with one of his tentacles but his own hand as really was lucky to have a daughter and a very bright future when he returned.
