The man hits a button and the machine activtes causing touma to dissapear in a flash of blinding white light

Touma opens his eyes and sees he's standing on a bridge in the midddle of the night, his muscles aching
How? how did I get here? The last thing I remember... Touma thinks to himself
Touma falls to his knees
T.. They're all dead, i couldn't protect them he says to himself buh before he can continue with that train of thought he hears a familiar voice behind him
Voice: Man, what the heck was that? Are you pretending to be a good guy by sticking up for those chumps? What are you, some kind of overzealous teacher?
Touma feels his blood turn cold, he recognized that voice but it was impossible. Her saw the corpse with his own eyes, held her body in his arms.
He stands and turns out around to see mikoto misaka standing sixteen feet infront him, there were no light but he could tell it was her
He runs and pulls her into a hug which which causes her face to turn red as a tomato.
He's acting weird, but this feels nice she thinks to herself
I'm so happy your alive mikoto he say his tear pouring out his eyes and down his face
She pushes him away
Whats with the hug and who said you call me by my first name she says sparks shooting out around her
she sends a bolt of lightning at him which he instinctually blocks

Touma stands in a destroyed city, the rubble of the buidling littering the street, he looks in every direction but all he sees is concrete and half destroyed building, the rebar sticking out. He turns back to where he was originally looking and he sees all the friends he made standing with their back to him and closest to him is all the clones with his girlfriend in the middle. He runs up to them but as soon as he gets close they turn around and he pulls his girlfriend into a hug and begins to cry, the tears falling onto the ground. He was unable to protect the one he loves and because of that she died. Before he can react she and evryon else disintigrates, the small particles getting scattered by the winds and a white butterfly flying away.

I was holding mikotos body then the next thing i know i'm on the bridge touma remembers. What rotten luck he thinks to himself

Heaven Canceller grabs the chart and starts flipping through it
