Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I just wasn't feeling it. Anyways hope you like this chapter !

Ron, Hermione and Harry heard the scream that came from downstairs. Harry moved forward and was about to open the door.

"Leave it" said Ron "it is probably Fred and George trying something for that joke shop of theirs. I wonder how they can afford that much !"

"Yeah" said Harry uncomfortably since he was the one who gave him his prize money so they could start their business.

"Have you all packed your trunks for tomorrow?" enquired hermione while stroking crookshanks who purred.

"Hermione , I know we are irresponsible" said Ron " but not that much !"

Harry nodded in agreement while hermione muttered something about 'just asking',

Downstairs James was trying to catch Lily but was failing miserably. Lily was already half the way up when she realised she didn't know which room the voice came from.

She heard Hermione speaking something about death eaters and she quickly followed the voice , while James on the other hand saw her turn the door handle but quickly took her arm away from the handle.

"What were you thinking?" Hissed james

"Did you hear that?" came Hermione's voice "i think someone just opened the door"

"Quick" said james while pulling lily behind the door

Hermione and Harry slowly approached the door and opened it wide.

"There is no one here !" Yelled harry

" probably a trick of fred and George since they've learned to apparat's now" said Ron

"That is very irresponsible" said hermione

Ron rolled his eyes and Harry silenced his laugh.

"Dinner!" Yelled molly from downstairs

"Come on, dinners ready! Wouldn't want to miss it !" Said Ron happily

"Honestly ron"muttered Hermione , glaring at Ron.

"Looks like there are a lot of people in this house lily" breathed james

Lily silently nodded.

Harry was the last to leave the room , while he was going out rain quickly took his wand from his back pocket.

"What did you do ?" Hissed lily

" it will come useful since we don't have our wands" replied james while muttering an incantation and going invisible (not that much)

He quickly did the same spell of lily and gestured to her to follow downstairs.

"That was smart James," said Lily, smiling.

"I am smart," James replied cheekily.

"Lily" said james " you shouldn't have gone like that , what if you were seen?"

"But-'

"Lily we have no reason to believe he is harry , many people share the

same name" said james soothingly

Lily silently nodded and they both made their way downstairs.

When James and Lily reached the kitchen they saw many people , some they recognised , some they did not .

James almost collapsed when he saw Harry and Sirius sitting together and apologised to Lily for what he said earlier.

"Ready for tomorrow , Harry ?" Asked Sirius putting his hands around harry.

" yes , i-uhm-hope you want get lonely" said harry awkwardly trying to find the right words

"I will be fine"

Harry knew he said that bitterly , he just wished his godfather would go back to the cheerful man he met in his third year.

"Try not to get in trouble" said Sirius grinning" you seem to get in it a lot" while laughing

"Ya"

Lily felt close to tears , her son- her only son was probably starting his fifth year at Hogwarts and she couldn't wave or pack his trunk for him or give him lectures.

James felt the same . He felt happy at seeing his son bonding with Sirius but he wished it could have been him . Messing around with Harry , making jokes , probably telling him about his times at school.

"Are you all ready for tomorrow? PUT THAT DOWN INSTANTLY FRED WEASLEY ! I SAID PUT THAT DOWN " said molly while running after Fred

"Mad house" muttered Ron

Lily and James placed themselves on the floor and wondered about their reactions when they discovered that they were alive .

While Harry , Ron and Hermione were sent off to bed early for tomorrow.

Harry climbed his bunk thinking about going back to Hogwarts , the odd thing was that Dumbledore wasn't directly talking or seeing him . With that thought Harry closed his eyes and fell asleep.
