Dear Journal,

Today was….today. After school I decided to get some more cheese and see Leo who runs Leo's Cheese Shop. I think he sells the best coffee in town next to Starbucks. I find myself going to Leo's more often now, I think it because Leo's a nice guy and always has time to chat. However, when I got to Leo's, a huge basket of cheese, bread, and grapes was sitting on Leo's front counter and he was looking at scratching his head.

Whoever bought the basket has money or has been saving for months, because the basket is great quality and these aren't cheap cheeses we're talking about. "Ah, Adrien, maybe you'd be able to help me out," Leo says, as I walk up to the front counter. "I'll do what I can," I smile at him, sliding onto one of the bar stools. "This basket is for Cat Noir, and I know that you know him to could you give it to him?" I look at Leo in surprise. That won't be a problem this I'm Cat Noir, but then Leo hands me a note. "The person who brought in this basket insisted he read this note."

The handwriting isn't one I recognize, but I read the note regardless.

"Heaped with fruits and cheese,

There's a feast in this basket.

Yes, you could eat the contents yourself or reach down into your heart.

Make the right the decision and your heart will be glad."

"The note's not signed," I say, looking at the paper carefully. "Was it from a boy or a girl?" I ask. "I've been sworn to secrecy, Adrien, but they did say Cat would do that right thing."

After ordering a frappe, I carefully slide the basket off the counter. "I'll be sure it gets to Cat Noir," I tell Leo. "Good luck, Adrien!"

I find a quiet alleyway, and Plagg immediately flies out of my pocket, drooling like he hasn't seen cheese in days. "I'm going to fly into the basket and eat for days!" Plagg cries happily. "Wait!" I call out. Plagg looks at me with annoyance. "Maybe, we aren't suppose have this cheese." "Are you crazy, Adrien? Whoever gave it, gave it to Cat Noir, and your Cat Noir!" I swat Plagg away. "Yes, but they said I would make the right decision. Maybe there's people in desperate need of cheese right now, and we could make their day."

I picture the warm happy looks when we bring the item that is needed most, like when its hot out and you just want water, and then someone brings you water and your so happy…..

"You just love to share, don't you Adrien?" Plagg crosses his tiny arms. "I like making people happy, Plagg." "Oh, alright, but save some of that cheese for me!"

I stand up, and say, "Plagg, Claws Out!" I pick up my basket, humming a tune beneath my breath, knowing the first person I'll visit.

Grandpa Rolland lives by himself, and at first he wasn't so fond of modern things like pizza, but now he loves it. I'm sure I could find some yummy cheese for him. And it would be good for him to have some company.

I ring the small bell, waiting outside the rusty fence. "What do you want?" Grandpa says. I have to hold in my giggles at his abruptness, but I don't hold back my smile. "Special delivery from Cat Noir." "Ah, come in!"

Just as I'm about to open the gate, my quick eyes see a figure duck into an alleyway. Am I being followed? I peer carefully into the shadows, but see nothing. Shrugging, I knock on Rolland's door. "Cat, come in, come in. I'm just prepping the oven," Grandpa says.

My mouth is already watering as I smell the herbs and spices and the fresh decent of tomatoes. Grandpa has his own tomato plants that he uses for his pizza.

"Is that cheese?" Grandpa peers into the basket. "Yeah, would you like some for your pizza?" Grandpa nods, smiling from ear to ear. A year ago that wouldn't have possible and I would have gotten a "That's not how its done!"

We laugh and joke as we grate the sprinkle the mystery cheeses on to wheels, and I help Grandpa put them into the oven. "You know, I have so much pizza here my boy, maybe I should invite my son and his family!" "That sounds purr-fect," I grin at him.

We play cards laughing and talking as the kitchen begins to smell good. "You know, Cat Noir, I'm so glad you stopped by today," Grandpa says, clearing his throat. "I've been feeling pretty lonesome, and then you showed up. Thank you." A warm glow spreads through me. "Leo was the one who gave me the basket. It told me that I could either eat the cheese myself or share it, and eating alone isn't much fun."

Even if its the best food in the world, Journal, I'd rather eat with someone. I know the feeling of being alone while I eat all to well.

When the pizzas are done, the doorbell rings and Grandpa tells me to let Marinette's family in. "Princess!" I cry happily, throwing my arms around her, then giving my family hugs around. Food really does bring people together.

"That was nice of Leo, and kind of whoever gave it to you, Cat." I smile at Mama Cheng. "I hope I get to thank them someday." Marinette chokes on her slice, and I spring into action, patting her back gently. "You okay, love?" "Yes, fine."

When I get home that night, I ask Plagg, "So, aren't you glad you shared and made a lot of people happy?" "I guess, but Adrien?" "Yes?" "Is there any cheese left?" I laugh. "Of course. Eat up, buddy."

"Sharing can be hard at times,

Yet when you do,

you feel so glad.

Whoever gave me this basket,

I thank you.

I hear a laugh and that sounds like Bugaboo, but I haven't seen her all day. Could it possibly….no, I guess the cheese will remain a mystery, and Plagg got his Camembert!
