"Beginning"
Shadow the Hedgehog was standing outside of a city a newspaper was flying to him it got caught in his legs it reads "Fire in the sky festival 50 year return of the Black Comet" it flew away.
Shadow was in deep thought "Shadow the Hedgehog why does that name haunt me? It's the only thing I can remember and that gruesome image." Shadow thought.
He closed his eyes he sees he was with a girl wearing a blue outfit and she had blonde hair and had blue eyes she turned around to see soldiers she turned to Shadow but the soldiers shot her "Maria!" Shadow's voice called out.
Shadow opened his eyes "Who am I? Why can't I remember anything? And who is this Maria?" Shadow wondered.
Soon red clouds appeared a portal opened above the city aliens attacked they began causing destruction everywhere Shadow observed the destruction "Look how pathetic they I don't have time for these humans." Shadow said.
He began leaving but when a voice called to him "Shadow."
Shadow turned around to see the leader Black Doom "As you can see the day of reckoning will soon be here find the seven Chaos Emeralds and bring them to me as promised." he said.
"Who are you and how do you know I'm Shadow? And what are you talking about?" Shadow asked.
Black Doom didn't answer he left out of nowhere explosions blew up Shadow was caught within the blast but was unharmed "Just what was thought about?" Shadow asked himself.
"Shadow please help them." Maria's voice said to Shadow.
"That girl that's the last thing she said to me Sonic and the others might need help and the only way I'm going to get the secrets to my past is to get those Chaos Emeralds." Shadow said.
He went to the city knowing everyone will need his help.
